Charging
Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 41 °F to 95 °F / 5 °C to
35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or at all under extreme low or
high temperatures. Recommended ambient temperature for shaving is 60 °F
to 95 °F / 15 °C to 35 °C.
Do not expose the shaver to temperatures higher than 122 °F / 50 °C for
extended periods of time.
• Using the special cord set (9), connect the shaver to an electrical outlet with
the motor switched off. When charging for the first time or when the shaver
is not used for a few months, leave the shaver to charge continuously for
4 hours.
• Once the shaver is completely charged, discharge the shaver through
normal use. Then recharge to full capacity. Subsequent charges will take
about 1 hour.
• A full charge provides up to 45 minutes of cordless shaving time depending
on your beard growth. However, the maximum battery capacity will only be
reached after several charging/discharging cycles.
• If the rechargeable batteries are discharged, you may also shave by
connecting the shaver to an electrical outlet via the special cord set.
• 5-minute quick charge is sufficient for a shave.
Charging lights
The green charging lights (5) show the charge status of the batteries
(330s/320s: 1 charging light). The green charging light blinks when the
shaver is being charged or switched on. When the battery is fully charged,
all green charging lights (330s/320s: 1 charging light) shine permanently,
provided the shaver is connected to an electrical outlet.

Low-charge light
The red low charge segment flashes when the battery is running low. You
should be able to finish your shave.
Shaving
Press the on/off switch (4) to operate the shaver (picture).
The flexible shaving foils automatically adjust to every contour of your face
(picture).
Long hair trimmer
To trim sideburns, moustache or beard, slide the long hair trimmer (2) upwards.
Precision setting switch (360s only)
For precise handling in hard to shave areas (e.g. under the nose) slide the
switch (3) to the right to position . The center trimmer and one foil will be
lowered.
Tips for the perfect dry shave
For best results, Braun recommends you follow 3 simple steps:
1. Always shave before washing your face.
2. At all times, hold the shaver at right angles (90°) to your skin.
3. Stretch your skin and shave against the direction of your beard growth.
Cleaning
The hand-held unit should be detached from the power supply cord before
cleaning. The shaver should not be used until it has dried.
Regular cleaning ensures better shaving performance. Rinsing the shaver
head under running water after each shave is an easy and fast way to keep
it clean:
• Switch the shaver on (cordless) and rinse the shaver head under hot
running water. You may use liquid soap without abrasive substances.
Rinse off all foam and let the shaver run for a few more seconds.
• Next, switch off the shaver, remove the shaver Foil & Cutter cassette (1)
and let it dry.
• If you regularly clean the shaver under water, then once a week apply a
drop of light machine oil onto the long hair trimmer (2) and shaver
Foil & Cutter cassette (1) (picture).

Alternatively, you may clean the shaver using a brush:
• Switch off the shaver. Remove the shaver Foil & Cutter cassette and tap it
out on a flat surface (picture).
• Using a brush, clean the inner area of the shaver head. However, do not
clean the shaver Foil & Cutter cassette with a brush as this may damage it
(picture).
Keeping your shaver in top shape
Replacement light for shaving parts
To maintain the appliance performing like new, replace the shaver Foil &
Cutter cassette (1), when the replacement light for shaving parts (7) comes
on (after about 18 months) or when worn.
Foil & Cutter cassette: 32S/32B
The replacement light will remind you during the next 7 shaves to replace the
Foil & Cutter cassette. Then the shaver will automatically reset the display.
After you have replaced the Foil & Cutter cassette (1), press the on/off switch
(4) for at least 5 seconds to reset the counter.
While doing so, the replacement light blinks and goes off when the reset is
complete. The manual reset can be done at any time.
Preserving the batteries
In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable batteries, the
shaver has to be fully discharged (by shaving) every six months approxima-
tely. Then recharge the shaver to full capacity.
Environmental notice
This appliance contains rechargeable batteries. To protect the
environment, do not dispose of the appliance in the household waste
at the end of its useful life. Disposal can take place at a Braun Service
Center or appropriate collection sites.

Mise en charge du rasoir
La température ambiante recommandée pour la mise en charge est de 5 °C
à 35 °C (41 °F à 95 °F). Il se peut que la pile ne se recharge pas correctement
ou qu‘elle ne se recharge pas du tout à des températures extrêmement hautes
ou basses. La température ambiante recommandée pour le rasage est de
15 °C à 35 °C (60 °F à 95 °F).
Ne pas exposer le rasoir à une température supérieure à 50 °C (122 °F)
pendant trop longtemps.
• A l’aide du cordon d’alimentation spécial (9), brancher le rasoir arrêté à une
prise de courant. Lors de la première charge ou lorsque le rasoir n’est pas
utilisé durant quelques mois, laisser le rasoir charger en continu pendant
4 heures.
• Une fois le rasoir complètement rechargé, l’utiliser sans cordon jusqu’à ce
qu’il soit complètement déchargé. Puis le recharger à nouveau complètement.
Les charges suivantes prendront environ 1 heure.
• Une pleine charge procure environ 45 minutes de rasage sans cordon.
Cette durée varie toutefois selon votre type de barbe. Toutefois, la capacité
maximale de la pile ne sera atteinte qu’après plusieurs cycles de charge/
décharge.
• Si les piles rechargeables sont déchargées, vous pouvez également vous
raser en branchant le rasoir dans une prise électrique à l’aide du cordon
d’alimentation spécial.
• Recharge rapide en 5 minutes valable pour un rasage.
Témoins lumineux de charge
Les témoins lumineux de charge (5) indiquent le niveau de charge des piles
(sur les modèles 330s/320s : 1 seul témoin lumineux de charge). Les témoins

lumineux de charge verts clignotent, indiquant que le rasoir est en train de
charger ou qu’il est allumé. Quand la pile est complètement rechargée, tous
les témoins de charge verts (sur les modèles 330s/320s : 1 seul témoin
lumineux de charge) demeurent verts lorsque le rasoir est branché à une
prise murale.
Témoin lumineux de décharge
Le segment rouge du témoin lumineux se met à clignoter lorsque la pile est
faible. Vous devriez être en mesure de terminer votre rasage.
Pour raser
Appuyer sur l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (4) pour mettre le rasoir en marche
(voir illustration). Les grilles de rasage flexibles s’adaptent automatiquement
aux contours de votre visage (voir illustration).
Tondeuse pour poils longs
Pour tailler les favoris, la moustache ou la barbe, faites glisser la tondeuse
(2) vers le haut.
Loquet de réglage de précision (uniquement sur les modèles 360s)
Pour une utilisation précise dans les zones difficiles à atteindre (par exemple,
sous le nez), poussez le loquet (3) vers la droite pour que se retrouve en
position centrale. La mini tondeuse du boîtier de rasage et une de ses grilles
seront alors abaissées.
Conseils pour un rasage á sec parfait
Pour un résultat de rasage optimal, Braun vous recommande de suivre
3 étapes simples :
1. Toujours se raser avant de se laver le visage.
2. Tenir le rasoir perpendiculairement (90°) à la peau.
3. Tendre la peau et se raser dans le sens opposé de la pousse des poils.
Nettoyage
L’appareil doit être débranché de son cordon d’alimentation avant d’être
nettoyé. Ne pas utiliser le rasoir avant qu’il n’ait complètement séché.
Un nettoyage régulier assure une meilleure performance de rasage.
Le nettoyage de la tête du rasoir à l’eau courante après chaque rasage est
un moyen efficace et rapide de le garder propre :
• Mettre en marche le rasoir (sans le cordon) et rincer la tête du rasoir sous
l’eau chaude (g). Vous pouvez utiliser un peu de savon doux naturel qui ne

contient aucune particule abrasive. Rincer la mousse et laisser le rasoir en
marche pendant quelques secondes.
• Ensuite, éteindre le rasoir puis enlever la grille de rasage et le bloc-
couteaux (1), et laisser sécher.
• Si vous nettoyez régulièrement votre rasoir sous l’eau courante, appliquez
toutes les semaines une goutte d’huile mouvement sur la tondeuse pour
poils longs (2) et la grille de rasage ainsi que le bloc-couteaux (1)
(illustration).
Vous pouvez également nettoyer le rasoir à sec en utilisant une brossette :
• Éteindre le rasoir. Enlever la grille et le bloc-couteaux, les secouer
délicatement sur une surface unie (illustration).
• A l’aide de la brossette, nettoyer le bloc-couteaux et la tête du rasoir.
Toutefois, ne pas nettoyer la grille de rasage et le bloc-couteaux avec la
brossette, cela risque de les abîmer (illustration).
Entretien du rasoir
Indicateur lumineux de remplacement des pièces de rasage
Pour que l’appareil fonctionne en tout temps comme un neuf, remplacer la
grille et le bloc-couteaux (1) lorsque s’allume l’indicateur lumineux de
remplacement des pièces de rasage (7), c’est-à-dire tous les 18 mois
environ, ou avant s’ils sont usés.
Grille et bloc-couteaux : 32S/32B
L’indicateur lumineux de remplacement rappellera qu’il faut remplacer la
grille et le bloc-couteaux lors des 7 rasages suivants. Puis, le rasoir
réinitialisera automatiquement l’affichage.
Après avoir remplacé la grille et le bloc-couteaux (1), appuyer sur
l’interrupteur de marche/arrêt (4) durant au moins 5 secondes pour remettre
manuellement le compteur à zéro. Ce faisant, l’indicateur lumineux clignote
puis s’éteint lorsque la réinitialisation est effectuée. La réinitialisation
manuelle peut être faite à n’importe quel moment.
Entretien des piles
Afin de conserver la capacité maximale des piles rechargeables, le rasoir
doit être complètement déchargé (en se rasant) environ tous les 6 mois.
Puis recharger le rasoir à sa pleine capacité.
