S ETTING THE TIME AND DAY
•Press the SET button, then press the UP and DOWN arrows to set the time.
•Press the SET button, then press the UP and DOWN arrows to set the
correct day of the week.
•Press RUN to save.
S YSTEM SWITCH
Switches between heating and cooling depending on which unit is selected.
•C OOL : cooling system is in use.
•O FF : all systems are off.
•H EAT : heating system is in use.
F AN SWITCH
Set the fan switch to AUTO or ON .
In AUTO MODE the fan runs only when the heating or cooling system is on.
If set to ON , the fan will run continuously. Use this setting for improved air
circulation.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
You can program four time periods each day, with different settings for
weekdays and weekends.
The WAKE setting is used to start the system and pre-warm the house before
everyone gets up.
The LEAVE setting can turn it off when the family has left for the day.
RETURN is then used to switch the system back on again just before everyone
gets home.
SLEEP can turn it off after they are all asleep.
A DJUSTING THE PROGRAM SCHEDULE
•Press SET until set schedule is displayed.
•Press the UP and DOWN arrows to set your weekday wake time (Mon –
Fri), then press SET .
•Press the UP and DOWN arrows to set the temperature for this time
period, then press SET .
•Set the time and temperature for the next time period (leave). Repeat
steps 2 and 3 for each weekday time period.
•Press SET to set the weekend time periods (Sat – Sun).
•Press RUN to save and exit.
Note: make sure the thermostat is set to the system you want to use. (heat or
cool)
Note: to cancel an unwanted time period (except wake), press and hold the up
arrow for 4 seconds while in set schedule mode.

P ROGRAM SCHEDULE OVERRIDE ( TEMPORARY )
Press the UP and DOWN arrows to immediately adjust the temperature, this
will temporarily override the temperature setting for the current time period.
The new temperature will be maintained only until the next programmed time
period begins.
To cancel the temporary override at any time press RUN .
P ROGRAM SCHEDULE OVERRIDE ( PERMANENT )
Press HOLD to permanently adjust the temperature. This will override the
temperature settings for all time periods.
The hold feature turns OFF the program schedule and allows you to adjust the
thermostat manually.
Whatever temperature is set will be maintained 24hrs a day until you
manually change it or press RUN to cancel hold and resume the program
schedule.
A DAPTIVE INTELLIGENT RECOVERY ( AIR )
Allows the thermostat to learn how long your heater or air conditioner takes to
reach the set temperature. The thermostat turns the unit on at the right time to
reach the desired temperature setting at the scheduled time.
E.g. if the wake time is set for 6am and the temperature at 21. The unit will
turn on before 6am to ensure that the temperature is at 21 by 6am.

T URNING A DAPTIVE I NTELLIGENT R ECOVERY OFF
•Press and hold the UP & DOWN arrows together until screen
changes.
Display will appear as shown below.
•Press the UP arrow 5 times until the screen displays the number 13
on the left side of the screen and 1 on the right.
•Press the DOWN arrow to change the number 1 on the right of the
screen to a 0.
•Press the RUN key to return to normal screen.
Adaptive Intelligent Recovery has now been removed.

B ATTERY REPLACEMENT
Batteries are optional (for backup power) if the thermostat was wired to run
on AC power when installed.
Install fresh batteries when the REPLACE BATT warning begins to flash. The
warning flashes about two months before the batteries are depleted.
If the batteries are inserted within one minute, the time and day will not have
to be reset. All other settings are permanently stored in memory and do not
require battery power.
•Pull at bottom to remove from wall plate.
•Turn thermostat over, remove batteries, insert AA alkaline batteries then
reinstall thermostat.
