A • Turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cord before carrying out troubleshooting, otherwise
~ the machine will operate if the treadle is pressed by mistake, which could result in injury.
• Close the air cock of the air supply source, and then open the drain cock to bleed the air until the needle of
the pressure gauge points to ''0".

If using the thread wiping function, replace the thread wiper
with the optional horizontal wiper (referto the table below),
and remove the presser foot tB. (The presser foot cannot
be used.)

presser foot 0 is used, cut the presser plate 8 to the dimension 3
to 3.5 mm inside the stitches.

1. Remove the guide plates 0, and detach the work clamp
foot 8 together with the work clamp 8.
2. Replace the feed plate 8 with the feed plate that was
made in accordance with
"How to make the feed plate."

4. Attach the working foot 8 and the presser crank LA as-

2. Push down the part® of the connector 8, and pull out the air tubes (4 pes) 8.
3. Remove the solenoid valve 8 and 8, the connectors 8, the integrator 8 and the air muffler 8.
4. Install the solenoid valve 8 and 8, the connectors 8, the integrator8 and the air muffler8 to the reversal solenoid
valve assembly

5. Install the reversal solenoid valve assembly 0 to the leg.

6. Open the control box cover (circuit board installation plate). (Refer to the Instruction Manual for the sewing machine.)
7. Disconnect the valve harness
(12P) Cl>.
8. Insert the pin terminals (#11, #4) of the reversal solenoid valve tD into connectors #11 and #4 on the valve harness Cl>.

2. Bind the air tubes from the reversal cylinder with a spiral tube.
3. Install the belt cover 0 and the side cover f). (Refer to the Instruction Manual for the sewing machine.)

1. Air pressure should be 0.49 MPa [5 kg /cm2).
The air pressure can be adjusted by pulling up and turn-
ing the co ntr ol knob f) on the int eg rat or 0.
After adjustment is complete, push the contro l knob f)
downw ard to lock it.
2. Ad just the air pressure for the reversal cyli nder to stay
within such a
ra nge th at the presser crank G rotates re-
versely wh en pressing th e sewing material wit h the pres-
su re plate 0.
For ad jus tm e nt , pull up and, turn the control knob 0 on
the air regulator 0.
Aft er ad justment is complete, push the handle 0 down
to lock it.
3. If wat er stands in the bott le of the integrator 0 , turn the
drain cock f) in the direc tion indicated by an a rrow to
drain the water.
