To reduce the risk of electrocution:

4. Do not reach for the product if it has fallen into water or other liquid. Unplug immediately
if safe to do so.
To reduce the risk of injury including burns, re, or electrocution:
1. DO NOT plug into an outlet with a voltage other than specied on the bottom of the
charger. This product is designed to operate within a range of 100 to 240 volts. Voltage
converters DO NOT guarantee voltage compatibility.
2. DO NOT force the plug into an outlet if it does not easily t. Discontinue use immediately.
3. DO NOT use the charger if it has a damaged cord or plug.
4. DO NOT use the charger outdoors.
5. DO NOT use the charger if submerged in water.
6. DO NOT place any component of the product in the dishwasher for cleaning.
7. DO NOT use any attachments other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Discontinue use if this product appears damaged in any way (brush head, handle,
charger). See Guarantee and Service if your Soniclean needs repair or no longer works
properly. This product contains no serviceable parts.
9. Keep cord away from all heat sources.
10. Do not use a brush head with damaged bristles. Crushed or bent bristles may break o
while brushing. Replace the brush head every 3 months or sooner when signs of wear
does appear. Note that inappropriate cleaning may damage the bristles. (See Cleaning)

conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired opera-

12. Use the Soniclean only for its intended use as described in this manual. This product
was designed to only clean your teeth, gums and tongue. If pain or discomfort is
experienced, discontinue use of this product and contact your dentist or physician as
these may be signs of other health problems.
13. Persons (including children) with a lack of experience and knowledge or reduced mental,
sensory or physical capabilities should not use this product, unless a person responsible
for their safety has given proper instructions on the use of the product.
14. Children should be supervised to ensure proper usage and that they do not play with the
toothbrush.
15. If your toothpaste includes peroxide, baking soda or other bicarbonate commonly found
in whitening toothpastes, clean your brush head and handle thoroughly with
water after each use. This will prevent plastic cracking due to prolonged exposure to
these chemicals.
16. Soniclean is a personal care appliance and is not intended for use in a dental oce or
institution on multiple patients.
1. Consult your physician prior to using the Soniclean if you have any medical concerns.
2. If you have had oral or gum surgery in the previous two months, consult your dental
professional prior to using this product.
3. If excessive bleeding occurs after using this product or bleeding continues to occur after
one week of use contact your dental professional as this may be a sign of other health
issues.
4. If you have a pacemaker or other implanted device contact your physician prior to use.
5. Soniclean has been tested and is compliant with safety standards for electromagnetic
devices for use.

GETTING STARTED
Before using the Brush Buddies® Soniclean®toothbrush for the rst time, you will need to charge it. It
will take approximately 10 hours to fully charge the Soniclean toothbrush for the rst time or when the
battery is completely depleted.
How to Charge

1. Connect the supplied AC adapter to the power socket on the
back of the base, under the UV sanitizer compartment as shown
in the diagram. Plug the AC plug into a live outlet.
2. Place the Soniclean toothbrush on the charging stand as shown
in the diagram. The battery indicator light on the toothbrush will
turn on.
3. The battery indicator will automatically turn o when the charge
cycle is complete.
Note : Only use the AC power adapter supplied with the product. Failure to
do so may cause a malfunction or present a re hazard.
Installing Brush Head
1. Insert the brush head onto the neck of the Soniclean toothbrush.
Line up the guide mark (A) on the back of the brush head with
the start of the guide mark (B) on the back of body of the brush
as shown in the diagram.
2. Rotate the brush head so that the guide marks on the back
of the brush head and brush neck line up as shown in the
diagram.
Dentists recommend that you replace Soniclean brush heads
every 3 months to maintain optimal results.

HOW TO USE
Brushing Instructions
1. Wet the brush head with water and add toothpaste.
2. Gently place the bristles of the brush on your teeth at an
approximately 45° angle towards the gumline. (see diagram A)
3. Press the power button to activate the ultrasonic vibration.
4. Apply light pressure to let the Soniclean brush for you and
achieve optimal results.
5. For the entire brushing cycle, slowly move the brush head gently
across your teeth and gums in a back and forth motion. Be sure
to allow the bristles to reach between your teeth and massage
your gums.
6. Brush your teeth for 30 seconds on each of the quadrants of your
mouth (4/30 method).
7. After brushing all four quadrants the ultrasonic vibration will
automatically stop after 2 minutes of continuous use, the
dentist-recommended brushing time.
8. To stop at any time, press the power button.
Note: The Soniclean is safe to use on braces and dental restorations
(llings, veneers, crowns, bridges, etc). When used on braces, the brush
heads will wear out sooner.

Sonic Modes
On your rst use, the Soniclean automatically starts with the default
Whitening mode. Future use will use the previously selected mode.
Select the appropriate mode by pressing the Mode Selector button
as shown in the diagram. The mode indicator LED lights will show
which mode is selected. Pressing the Mode Selector button will cycle
through the options. Paired with the proper included brush heads,
the Soniclean toothbrush oers three modes for varying oral care
needs. Choose from the following:
• Whitening
Recommended to replenish the natural uoride within the
tooth enamel for a healthier and whiter smile.
• Standard
Recommended for everyday use. This can be paired with
the adult or junior brush head.
• Sensitive
Recommended for those with gum recession, braces, gum
therapy and sensitive teeth.

1. Rinse the brush head and bristles after each use.
2. Shake to remove excess water.
3. Rinse the brush head connection weekly with warm water.

with warm water.
2. Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe the entire surface of the
toothbrush.

Storage
If you plan on not using the Soniclean for an extended period of time,
unplug it, clean it, and store the entire unit in a cool, dry place and
avoid direct sunlight. You may also store the brush heads on the brush
stand pegs inside of the charging stand.

You may need to recharge the Soniclean. Charge the Soniclean for 10 hours.
(see Getting Started > How to Charge).
CAUTION: Changes or modications not expressly approved by the patty responsible for compliance
could void the user’s authority to operate the product.
NOTE: This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this
equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined
by turning the equipment o and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one
or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dierent from that to which the receiver is
connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Due to the ultrasonic vibrations, you may experience a tingling/tickling sensation when you rst start
using the Soniclean. This sensation will diminish over time as you become acclimated to the vibrations.
Keep the brush head at a slight angle towards the gumline. Adjust the angle so the brush head doesn’t
touch the surface of your teeth (see How to Use > Brushing Instructions).
You may need to fully charge the Soniclean (see Getting Started > How to Charge). You may need to
replace your brush head (see Replacement section). Also note that each mode has a distinct vibration
pattern (see How to Use > Sonic Modes).

Disposal
Removing the Rechargeable Battery
1. The rechargeable battery inside your Soniclean cannot be replaced, but should be removed from
the handle for recycling by following the instructions below.
2. If you have any questions about proper electronic waste disposal, contact your local waste
management oce.
3. Do not mix old and new batteries.
4. Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) or (Nickel Metal
Hydride) batteries.
5. Do not dispose of batteries in re.
6. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
This process is not reversible.
Follow basic safety precautions. Protect your eyes, hands, ngers,
and the surface of your work area.
To remove the rechargeable battery, you will need a hammer and a
athead screwdriver.
1. Remove the Soniclean from the charging stand. Completely
deplete the rechargeable battery of any charge by turning the
Soniclean on and letting it run until it stops. Repeat until you can
no longer switch it on.
2. Lay the Soniclean on a at, durable surface with the base (see
diagram A)pointing away from your body. With a hammer, strike
the handle near the base repeatedly until the base cap loosens.
Be careful, as the base cap may y o if excessive force is used.
3. Hold the handle and push down on the neck of the handle to
release the internal components of the handle (see diagram B).

4. Remove the battery with your nger or screwdriver
(see diagram C) by lifting either edge of the battery.
The rechargeable battery can now be properly recycled and the rest
of the components discarded appropriately.

Brush Buddies® guarantees the Soniclean for 1 year after the initial date of purchase. Defects due to
faulty materials and/or workmanship will be repaired or replaced by Brush Buddies when proof of
purchase is provided during the warranty period.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state
to state.
