• Position on a flat, stable surface.
• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not
remove any components on this product.
• Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:
• Health and Safety at Work Legislation
• BS EN Codes of Practice
• Fire Precautions
• IEE Wiring Regulations
• Building Regulations
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• DO NOT clean with jet/pressure washers.
• DO NOT move or carry the appliance when it is switched on.
• DO NOT operate the appliance without water in the outer container.
• Keep the lid closed when not serving.
• Suitable for indoor use only.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the appliance when not in use.
• This appliance must only be used in accordance with these instructions and by persons competent to
do so.
• This appliance is not suitable for use by children.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of
local authorities.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified
technician in order to avoid a hazard.

Attaching Labels
1. Slide the relevant label into the magnetic label holder.
2. Attach the holder to the side of the appliance.
Operation
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Fill the outer container with approximately 600ml of water.
3. Carefully place the inner container into the appliance.
4. Fill the inner container with hot soup and close the lid.
5. Set the temperature control. The temperature ranges from 1 (lowest) to 12 (highest).
6. The Power light will come on and the kettle will begin to heat up.
7. Reduce the temperature to maintain heat levels. To maintain temperature, BUFFALO recommend the
lowest heat setting possible.
8. Use a suitable implement to remove the contents of the kettle. DO NOT tip the kettle to remove the
contents.
9. To turn the appliance Off, set the Temperature Control to ‘0’.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Always turn off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean any spilt food on the appliance immediately.
• Use soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance.
• The inner container and lid are machine washable.

De deksel plaatsen
1. Plaats de deksel op het apparaat.
Labels aanbrengen
1. Schuif het relevante label in de magnetische labelhouder.
2. Klik de houder op de zijkant van het apparaat.
Bediening
1. Steek de steker van het apparaat in het stopcontact.
2. Vul de buitenpan met circa 600ml water.

5. Stel de temperatuur in. Het temperatuurbereik gaat van 1 (laagste) tot 12 (hoogste).

7. Verlaag de temperatuur om warmteniveaus te behouden. Om de temperatuur te behouden, raadt
BUFFALO de laagst mogelijk instelling aan.
8. Gebruik een geschikt hulpmiddel om de inhoud uit de ketel te scheppen. Ketel NIET omkiepen om
inhoud te verwijderen.
9. Om het apparaat Off (uit) te schakelen zet u de temperatuurregelaar op '0'.
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Alvorens het apparaat te reinigen dient men altijd de stroomvoorziening uit te schakelen.
• Gemorst etenswaar op het apparaat onmiddellijk reinigen.
• Gebruik zeepwater en een vochtige doek om de buitenkant van het apparaat te reinigen.
• De binnenpan en deksel kunnen in een vaatmachine worden gewassen.
• Na reiniging goed drogen.
Opmerking: indien het gewenste label niet is meegeleverd, schrijft u de naam van het
product op de achterzijde van één van de labels.

Men dient de steker op een geschikt stopcontact aan te sluiten.

Installation

Installation du couvercle
1. Faites coulisser le couvercle sur le dessus de la marmite.

Pour fixer les étiquettes
1. Insérez l'étiquette voulue dans le support d'étiquette magnétique.
2. Fixez le support sur le côté de la soupière.
Utilisation
1. Branchez l'appareil à une prise secteur.
2. Remplissez la coque extérieure d'environ 600 ml d'eau.
3. Placez précautionneusement le contenant amovible dans l'appareil.
4. Remplissez le contenant amovible de soupe chaud et refermez le couvercle.
5. Réglez le thermostat. La température varie de 1 (au plus bas) à 12 (au plus haut).
6. Le témoin Power de fonctionnement s'allume et la soupière commence à chauffer..
7. Diminuez la température pour conserver la chaleur. BUFFALO vous recommande de placer le
thermostat sur le réglage le plus bas possible, pour maintenir la température du contenu.
8. Servez-vous d'un ustensile adapté pour retirer le contenu de la soupière. NE FAITES PAS basculer la
soupière pour en retirer le contenu.
9. Pour éteindre l'appareil, mettez le thermostat sur '0'.
Nettoyage, entretien et maintenance
• Veillez à toujours éteindre et débrancher l'appareil de la prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.
• Débarrassez l'appareil d'éventuelles éclaboussures d'aliments immédiatement.
• Nettoyez l'extérieur de l'appareil à l'aide d'un chiffon humide imbibé d'eau savonneuse.
• Le contenant amovible et le couvercle peuvent être lavés au lave-vaisselle.
• Veillez à bien l'essuyer après nettoyage.
Remarque : si l'étiquette dont vous avez besoin n'est pas incluse, écrivez le nom du
produit au verso de l'une des étiquettes fournies.
Remarque : Le contenant amovible ne doit PAS flotter, même vide. Si le contenant flotte,
diminuez la quantité d'eau dans la coque extérieure.
Remarque : Si nécessaire, retirez tout excès d'eau de la coque extérieure.
Remarque : À pleine puissance, le réchauffage d'une soupière pleine de soupe froide
peut prendre jusqu'à 90 minutes.

Deckel anbringen
1. Deckel in den Schlitz oben im Gerät schieben.
Etikette befestigen
1. Das zugehörige Etikett in den magnetischen Etiketthalter schieben.
2. Den Etiketthalter seitlich am Gerät befestigen.
Betrieb
1. Das Gerät an den Netzstrom anschließen.
2. Den äußeren Behälter mit rund 600 ml Wasser füllen.
3. Vorsichtig den inneren Behälter in das Gerät stellen.
4. Den inneren Behälter mit Suppe füllen und den Deckel aufsetzen.
5. Den Temperaturregler auf einen Wert zwischen 1 (niedrigste Einstellung) und 12 (höchste) einstellen.
6. Die Stromanzeige leuchtet auf und der Kessel erwärmt sich..
7. Die Temperatur reduzieren, um die Suppe warmzuhalten. Zum Warmhalten empfiehlt BUFFALO die
beiden niedrigsten Temperatureinstellungen.
8. Den Kesselinhalt mit einer Suppenkelle entnehmen. NICHT den Kessel kippen.
9. Zum Ausschalten des Geräts den Temperaturregler auf "0" stellen.
Reinigung, Pflege und Wartung
• Vor der Reinigung stets zunächst das Gerät abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
• Verschüttete Speisereste sofort vom Gerät entfernen.
• Den Kessel außen mit Seifenlauge und einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.
• Der innere Behälter und der Deckel sind spülmaschinenfest.
• Nach dem Reinigen gründlich trocknen lassen.
Hinweis: Der Deckel ist in der Mitte mit einem Scharnier ausgestattet. Um Zugang zum
Suppenbehälter zu erhalten, eine Deckelhälfte anheben.
Hinweis: Wenn das gewünschte Etikett nicht mitgeliefert wurde, schreiben Sie einfach
den Produktnamen auf die Rückseite eines der Etiketten.
Hinweis: Der innere Behälter darf selbst dann NICHT auf dem Wasser schwimmen, wenn er
leer ist. Wenn der Behälter schwimmt, etwas Wasser aus dem äußeren Behälter entnehmen.
Hinweis: Bei Bedarf überschüssiges Wasser aus dem äußeren Behälter entfernen.
Hinweis: In der höchsten Einstellung kann es bis zu 90 Minuten dauern, bis sich der
volle, kalte Kesselinhalt auf die gewünschte Temperatur erwärmt.
VORSICHT: Niemals das Gerät bewegen oder tragen, wenn es eingeschaltet ist oder
heiße Flüssigkeiten enthält.

Suggerimenti per la sicurezza
• Posizionare il fabbricatore di ghiaccio su una superficie in piano e stabile.
• L'installazione e le eventuali riparazioni devono venire eseguite da un agente/tecnico qualificato. Non
rimuovere i componenti o i pannelli di accesso dell'apparecchio.
• Verificare la conformità alle normative locali e nazionali di quanto segue:

• NON immergere l'apparecchio in acqua.
• NON utilizzare sistemi di lavaggio a getto o pressione per pulire l'apparecchio.
• NON muovere o spostare l'apparecchio quando è acceso.
• NON mettere in funzione l'apparecchio se non è presente acqua nel contenitore esterno.
• Quando non ci si serve dal bollitore, tenere il coperchio chiuso.
• Per esclusivo uso in ambienti chiusi.
• Spegnere e scollegare l'alimentazione quando l'apparecchio non è utilizzato.
• L'apparecchio deve essere utilizzato in conformità con le presenti istruzioni e da persone qualificate
all'utilizzo.
• L'apparecchio non è adatto all'utilizzo da parte di bambini.
• Tenere lontano l'imballaggio dalla portata dei bambini. Smaltire l'imballaggio in conformità alle
normative locali.
• Se danneggiato, il cavo di alimentazione deve venire sostituito da un agente BUFFALO o da un tecnico
qualificato al fine di prevenire eventuali rischi.

Chiudere il coperchio
1. Porre il coperchio sulla sommità dell'elettrodomestico.
Applicazione delle etichette
1. Fare scivolare l'etichetta desiderata sul portaetichette magnetico.
2. Applicare il portaetichette sul lato dell'apparecchio.
Funzionamento
1. Collegare l'apparecchio all'alimentazione di rete.
2. Riempire il contenitore esterno con circa 600ml d'acqua.
3. Inserire con attenzione il contenitore interno nell'apparecchio.
4. Riempire il contenitore interno e chiudere il coperchio.
5. Impostare la temperatura desiderata. La temperatura è compresa tra 1 (più bassa) a 12 (più alta).
6. La spia dell'alimentazione si accende e la zuppiera elettrica inizia a riscaldarsi.
7. Ridurre al minimo la temperatura per mantenere il livello di calore. Per mantenere la temperatura,
BUFFALO suggerisce di regolare la temperatura sull'impostazione più bassa possibile.
8. Utilizzare uno strumento adeguato per rimuovere il contenuto dalla zuppiera elettrica. NON inclinare la
zuppiera elettrica per rimuovere il contenuto.
9. Spegnere l'apparecchio e impostare la temperatura su '0'.
Pulizia e manutenzione
• Prima di eseguire la pulizia, spegnere e scollegare l'apparecchio dall'alimentazione.
• Pulire immediatamente gli eventuali residui di cibo presenti sull'apparecchio.
• Utilizzare acqua saponata e un panno inumidito per pulire la superficie esterna dell'apparecchio.
• Il contenitore interno e il coperchio sono lavabili in lavastoviglie.
• Asciugare completamente dopo la pulizia.
Nota bene: al centro del coperchio è presente una chiusura a cerniera. Per servirsi dal
bollitore, sollevare solo una metà del coperchio.
Nota: se l'etichetta desiderata non è inclusa, scrivere il nome del prodotto sul retro di
una delle etichette.
Nota: il contenitore interno NON deve galleggiare, anche quando è vuoto. Se il
contenitore galleggia, ridurre la quantità di acqua nel contenitore esterno.
Nota: se necessario, rimuovere l'eventuale acqua in eccesso dal contenitore esterno.
Nota: a piena potenza, il riscaldamento dell'intero contenuto a freddo della zuppiera
elettrica può impiegare fino a 90 minuti.
ATTENZIONE: non muovere o trasportare l'apparecchio quando è acceso oppure quando
contiene liquidi bollenti.

Cablaggi elettrici
La spina deve venire collegata a una presa di rete appropriata.
L'apparecchio ha i seguenti cablaggi:
• Filo sotto tensione (colore marrone) a terminale L
• Filo del neutro (colore blu) a terminale N
• Filo di terra (colore verde/giallo) a terminale E
L'apparecchio deve avere un circuito dedicato di messa a terra.
In caso di dubbi, consultare un elettricista qualificato.
I punti di isolamento elettrico devono essere liberi da ostruzioni. In caso di emergenza, i punti devono
essere facilmente raggiungibili qualora sia necessario scollegarli.

Il logo WEEE riportato su questo prodotto o sulla relativa documentazione indica che
il prodotto non può essere smaltito come normale rifiuto domestico. Per evitare
possibili danni alla salute e/o all'ambiente, il prodotto deve venire smaltito utilizzando
una procedura di riciclaggio approvata e sicura per l'ambiente. Per ulteriori
informazioni su come smaltire in maniera corretta questo prodotto, contattare il
fornitore del prodotto o l'ente locale responsabile per lo smaltimento dei rifiuti.
