The AirStation 125* High Speed Mode™ Wireless Desktop
PCI Adapter offers a fast and flexible wireless solution for
your desktop PC. With the AirStation One-Touch Secure
System (AOSS™), creating a secure wireless connection is
now hassle-free! The low profile design of the wireless PCI
adapter can accommodate desktops with either full size or
low profile PCI slots. The 125* High Speed Mode™ Wireless
Desktop PCI Adapter adheres to the IEEE 802.11g standard
and is interoperable with any 802.11b device. Using the included
antenna connector, the detachable antenna can be replaced with
a 2.4GHz antenna for flexible placement or extended range.

Buffalo AirStation One-Touch Secure System allows you to
create instant secure wireless connection with the push of
a button and the click of a mouse!
◗ Press the AOSS button ➊ on the router to initiate
the AOSS session.
◗ Click on the AOSS button ➋ in the Buffalo Client Manager software.
◗ DONE - A secure connection is automatically established between
the access point and wireless client.
AOSS functions between Buffalo AOSS enabled devices only. Buffalo client devices are AOSS enabled by using Buffalo’s updated client manager software (Windows clients only).
* When operating in High Speed Mode™, this Wi-Fi device achieves an actual throughput of up to 34.1Mbps, which is the equivalent throughput of a system following 802.11g protocol
and operating at a signaling rate of 125Mbps.

How AOSS Handles Security:
When two or more AOSS clients attach to the AOSS network, the client and router
automatically negotiate the highest level of security that the clients and router can
support. In the above example, one of the AOSS clients supports both WEP and WPA
level encryption, while the other supports only WEP. AOSS automatically adjusts the
security to the level that both clients support.
