Installation and starting up
The original package is designed for dispatch by post. Keep it in case you need to return the blender to the
supplier. Before installing the blender strictly follow all points of the safety instructions specied before.
After removing the blender from its package, check that it is in perfect condition and check that no type
of material, packaging, warranty sheet or anything else has accidentally entered inside the housing of the
motor base (6) (e.g. around the top gear 20) or in the jar (3) during transport or unpacking.
Keep the plastic bag containing the blender away from children: it may cause suffocation.
Do not plug in the blender until it has been correctly and completely assembled and always unplug the
blender after use.
Before using for the rst time, wash the ller cup (1), the lid (2), and the jar (3).
For a quick wash, pour a glass of hot water into the jar and add a drop of detergent.
Place the lid (2) and the measuring ller cup (1) on the jar and use the selector (11) to run the blender for
at least 30 seconds. Pour the water from the jar and rinse it thoroughly before using it again.
Wash with neutral, non-abrasive and non-corrosive detergents, rinse and dry carefully.
To remove the dust that may have accumulated on the motor base body (6) of the blender, simply wipe
with a dry soft cloth.
1) Insert the lid (2) assembled with the ller cup (1) on the top of the assembled jar (3); to do this please be
careful to put the stepped part of the lid in correspondence with the pouring part of the jar.

the lid is perfectly put on the jar and the jar itself is correctly put on the motor base (6).
3) After making the above checks, and complying strictly with the safety instructions, connect to the main
power supply.
Connecting to the power supply: electric current can kill. Comply strictly with the safety instructions.
The Vento blender must be connected via the power cable (7) to a socket which voltage complies with the one
indicated on the rating plate under the blender.

Never use defective or damaged cables.
Never allow parts carrying live voltage to come into contact with water: you may cause a short circuit!!!
(adhere strictly to all points of the safety instructions specied before).

Advice and recommendations on use
A. Using functions with 60 speeds and pulse button 11
1) Adhere strictly to all safety, installation and instructions specied before.
2) Once the plug of the cable (7) has been plugged in all the proximity touch panel (10) switches on and,
immediately, only the red start button (16) blinks and the display shows OFF. This is an important signal that
indicates that the blender is connected to the power supply and is therefore carrying live current, while the
blender functions are in stand-by.
3) Put the jar (3), which has been assembled according to instructions, on the motor base (6).
4) Remove the lid (2) and the measuring ller cup (1) from the jar (3).
5) Cut the food into cubes or slices to obtain the ideal result.
6) Place the food that you are going to blend in the jar (3) (without exceeding the maximum permitted level
of 1.0 litres – 32 onzs) and put the lid (2) complete with the measuring ller cup (1) back on the jar (3).
7) When the jar (3) and the lid (2) are properly in their places on the motor base (6), the red start button (16)
is steady and all icons on the display (10) are on. The functions of the blender can be selected by touching
the number or icon desired on the display (10) .
8) Hold the jar (3) handle rmly with one hand and turn the speed selector (11) to the desired speed.
To increase the speed: turn the Knob speed control (11) clockwise.
To decrease the speed: turn the Knob speed control (11) anticlockwise.
The speeds are 60; refer to the conversion table for the RPM (Rounds Per Minute).
9) The blender can be stopped any time simply by touching the red stop button (12) on the display (10) or by
turning the knob speed control (11) anticlockwise until the speed 0;
WARNING: ALWAYS KEEP A HAND ON TOP OF THE LID WHILST THE MOTOR IS RUNNING.
10) THE PULSE FUNCTION can be used at all speeds at which the blender is running.
11) Press the knob speed control (11) to achieve maximum speed. Only while pushing it, the pulse function is
activated. This makes the blades rotate at the maximum speed until the pulse button (11) is released.
12) Once the pulse button (11) is released, the blender will return to the speed settled with the speed
selector (11).
13) To remove the jar (3), take the jar (3) by the handle and lift it up vertically to remove it from
the motor base (6). To pour the blended food, remove the lid (2).
14) Do not loosen the nut ring (4) of the blade unit (5) from the jar (3) while there is any liquid in the blender
as this will cause leaks of liquid from the bottom of the jar (3).
15) When blending hot food or liquids wear oven gloves.
16) The Vento Blender is provided with the patented Bugatti Safety system to ensure safe operations: the
system allows the motor to run only if the lid (2) is perfectly put on the jar (3) and the jar (3) itself is
correctly put on the motor base (6).
17) Use a spatula only when the blender is switched off and the plug (7) is unplugged from the socket.

33
B. Using the measuring ller cup (1)
The ller cup is used to add small quantities of ingredients from the hole of the lid. The max content of the
measuring ller cup (1) is 50 ml. Remove the measuring ller cup (1) from the lid (2) to add the ingredients
through the central hole in the lid (2) only if the blender is switched off.
C. Using the Thermometer Stirrer Stick (8)
The use of Stirrer Stick allows the blending of very thick and/or frozen ingredients that cannot be processed
by using the regular function of a blender. The Stirrer Stick maintains the food ow circulation by preventing
the creation of air bubbles between the blade and the ingredients under process (see picture G).
The BUGATTI Thermometer Stir stick can be also used to measure the temperature of processed mixture.
To know the temperature just immerse a part of the stirrer stick (8) into the mixture in jar(3) of the blender
and push on the button on the top of it; on the display is shown the temperature of the mixture (see picture
H). Pushing on the button for 3 seconds the temperature changes from °C to °F and vice versa.
Remove the measuring ller cup (1) and correctly insert the stirrer stick (8) into the jar (3) through the lid’s
central hole (2), as per below image. This operation has to be done when the blender is switched off.
ONLY USE the stirrer stick (8) when the lid is placed on the jar (3). DO NOT USE the stirrer stick if the
lid is not placed on the jar.

34

important signal that indicates that the blender is connected to the power supply and is therefore carrying
live current, while the blender functions are in stand-by.
3) Put the jar (3), which has been assembled according to instructions, on the motor base (6).
4) Remove the lid (2) and the measuring ller cup (1) from the jar (3).
5) Cut the food into cubes or slices to obtain the ideal result.
