GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read the instruction manual
carefully before using the unit and
keep it in a safe place.
1. After unpacking the unit, check
that it is in perfect condition and
that there is no damage that could
affect the functional safety of the
unit. If there are any defects or
the unit has been dropped to the
ground, do not use it and contact
our customer service.
2. Improper repairs can lead to
danger for the user and result
in invalidation of the warranty.
If individual parts are damaged,
they must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised
specialist company or a similarly
qualified person.
This symbol warns of toxic
substances. Do not use your
battery-powered device if any
liquid is leaking from the device
or battery.
INTENDED USE
This appliance is intended for
domestic use only, not for continuous
commercial use.
The appliance is not intended for use
by children or persons with reduced
ability to operate appliances. It may
only be used by persons who are
capable of operating equipment safely.
Use the unit as described in the
instruction manual. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage to
objects and persons caused by non-

7. Keep in mind that your LED Light
should not be stored outside by the
grill for extended periods of time
when the temperature is below
zero, as this can lead to irreversible
damage and a loss of capacity of
the battery.
Note: Do not mount the BBQ LED on
extremely hot places on your barbecue
(e.g., barbecue lid), as the magnet
could become demagnetised due to
the intense heat.

PRODUCT OPERATION
• Activate the light by pressing the centrally
placed button on the top.
• When you lift the lid, the light is automatically
switched on by the tilt angle sensor.
• Pressing it again dims the light to 50 % of the
maximum brightness.
• The light turns off automatically when you
close the lid.
• Memory function: The brightness level is
'remembered' when the barbecue lid is opened
and closed again.
• A third press switches the light off.
• Automatic switch-off: If the grill lid is not lifted
for 30 minutes (light off), the product switches
off automatically and must be reactivated by
pressing the on/off button.
As soon as the light is removed from the holder on
the handle, the tilt angle sensor switches off. By
pressing the centrally placed button again, you can
also use your barbecue light as a torch.

ASSEMBLY
• Mount the holder on the handle of your FREDS
or EARLS by passing the silicone strap around
the handle and snapping it into the two hooks.
• Slide the light sideways into the holder from
right to left until you feel it click into place.

statutory warranty obligation of two years. Claims
beyond this can only be processed in conjunction
with the proof of purchase. Worn parts exclude
a warranty claim in the case of normal wear and
tear. The service life depends on the respective
treatment and use of the products and is therefore
variable.

When you take the light out of the holder, you can
attach it in different positions on your barbecue
using the magnet.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR
• The battery level is displayed when the light is
switched on.
CHARGING THE PRODUCT
• To charge the product, you must first remove
the front part from the holder, open the
charging port and connect the light with the
enclosed USB cable.
• Battery level indicator during charging: current
charge level is displayed, battery level at
75 %  4. lamp flashes.
• In order to maintain the battery's optimal
charging capacity, it should be charged once
every 3 months and discharged at least once
every 6 months.
• Be sure to charge the light at a temperature
above +5 °C to +45 °C.

DISPOSAL/RECYCLING
Our products are manufactured according
to high quality standards and are designed
for a long service life. Regular maintenance
and care help to extend the service life. If
the unit is defective and cannot be repaired,
it must not be disposed of together with
your regular household waste.
Electrical parts:
You must take the unit to a designated disposal
point for the recycling of electrical or electronic
equipment. Through proper disposal and recycling,
you can make an important contribution to
protecting our environment.
This unit complies with the WEEE Directive
2002/96/EC on the disposal of waste electrical and
electronic equipment.
Battery:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be
disposed of in household waste. You are legally
obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Batteries may contain harmful
substances that can damage the environment or
your health if stored or disposed of improperly. But
they also contain important raw materials that can
be recycled, such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.

Breng geen wijzigingen aan het
apparaat aan. Dergelijke wijzigingen
aan het apparaat kunnen leiden tot
ongelukken en het verlies van de
garantieclaim.

1. Controleer na het uitpakken of

of er eventuele beschadigingen
zijn die de veilige werking kunnen
belemmeren. Vertoont het
apparaat gebreken of is het
gevallen, neem het dan niet in
bedrijf maar neem contact op met
onze klantenservice.
2. Ondeskundige reparaties kunnen
gevaar opleveren voor de
gebruiker en het vervallen van
het recht op garantie tot gevolg
hebben. Mochten afzonderlijke
onderdelen beschadigd zijn dan
moeten deze door de fabrikant,
een geautoriseerde dealer of een
vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerde
persoon worden vervangen.
Dit symbool waarschuwt voor
giftige stoffen. Gebruik je
apparaat met accu of batterijen
niet als er vloeistof uit het
apparaat, de accu of de batterij
loopt.
BEOOGD GEBRUIK
Het apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld

3. Gebruik het apparaat alleen als het

7. Bewaar uw barbecue-LED
niet buiten bij de barbecue als
de temperatuur onder nul is.
Temperaturen onder nul kunnen
leiden tot onherstelbare schade en
capaciteitsverlies van de batterij.
Let op: plaats de barbecue-LED
niet op extreem hete plekken bij de
barbecue (bijv. op het deksel), omdat
de magneet anders door de sterke

PRODUCT GEBRUIKEN
• Activeer de LED-lamp door aan de bovenkant
op de knop in het midden te drukken
• Als je het deksel opent, wordt de lamp
dankzij de kantelhoeksensor automatisch
ingeschakeld.
• Als je nogmaals op de knop drukt, wordt
het licht gedimd tot 50 % van de maximale
helderheid.
• De lamp gaat automatisch uit als je het deksel
sluit.
• Memory-functie: het helderheidsniveau wordt
'onthouden' als het deksel van de barbecue
wordt geopend en gesloten.
• Door een derde keer op de knop te drukken,
wordt de lamp uitgeschakeld.
• Automatisch uitschakelen: als het deksel van de
barbecue 30 minuten lang niet wordt geopend
(lamp uit), gaat het product automatisch uit en
moet het opnieuw worden geactiveerd door op
de aan-uitknop te drukken.
Zodra de lamp uit de houder aan de handgreep
wordt gehaald, wordt de kantelhoeksensor
uitgeschakeld. Door nogmaals op de knop in het
midden te drukken, kun je je barbecuelamp ook als
zaklamp gebruiken.

PRODUCTOMSCHRIJVING
MONTAGE
• Monteer de houder aan de handgreep van je
FRED of EARL door de siliconen band om je
handgreep te voeren en in de beide haken vast
te klikken.
• Schuif de lamp zijdelings van rechts naar links
in de houder tot je merkt dat hij vastklikt.

KLANTENSERVICE
In principe zijn onze producten onderworpen aan
de wettelijk verplichte garantietermijn van 2 jaar.
Garantieclaims kunnen alleen worden verwerkt in
combinatie met het aankoopbewijs. Slijtagedelen
komen bij normale slijtage niet in aanmerking voor
garantieverlening. De levensduur is afhankelijk van
de desbetreffende behandeling en het gebruik van
de producten en is daarom variabel.

Als je de lamp uit de houder haalt, kun je deze door
middel van de magneten op verschillende plekken op
je barbecue bevestigen.
WEERGAVE BATTERIJNIVEAU
• Het batterijniveau wordt tijdens het inschakelen
van de lamp getoond.
PRODUCT OPLADEN
• Om het product op te laden, moet je eerst
het voorste gedeelte uit de houder halen, de
laadaansluiting openen en de lamp met de
meegeleverde USB-kabel verbinden.
• Weergave batterijniveau tijdens het opladen:
het huidige laadniveau wordt getoond,
batterijniveau bij 75 %  4. De lamp knippert.
• Om de optimale laadcapaciteit van de batterij
te behouden, moet deze eens in de 3 maanden
worden opgeladen en minstens eens in de
6 maanden volledig worden ontladen.
• Laad de lamp op bij een temperatuur tussen
+5 °C en +45 °C.

VERWIJDERING/MILIEU
Onze producten worden gemaakt volgens
hoge kwaliteitsnormen en zijn ontworpen
voor een lange levensduur. Regelmatig
onderhoud en verzorging helpen de
levensduur te verlengen. Als het apparaat
defect is en niet meer gerepareerd kan
worden, mag het niet samen met het
normale huisvuil worden weggegooid.
Elektronische apparaten:
Je moet het apparaat naar een aangewezen
afvaldepot voor recycling van elektrische of
elektronische apparatuur brengen. Door een juiste
verwijdering en recycling lever je een belangrijke
bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de WEEE-richtlijn
2002/96/EU betreffende de verwijdering
van afgedankte elektrische en elektronische
apparatuur.
Batterij:
Batterijen en accu's mogen niet met het huisvuil
worden weggegooid. Je bent wettelijk verplicht
om gebruikte batterijen en accu's in te leveren
Batterijen kunnen schadelijke stoffen bevatten
die het milieu of je gezondheid kunnen schaden
als ze niet op de juiste manier worden bewaard
of weggegooid. Ze bevat echter ook belangrijke
grondstoffen die kunnen worden gerecycled, zoals
ijzer, zink, mangaan of nikkel.
