GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read the instruction manual
carefully before using the unit and
keep it in a safe place.
1. After unpacking the unit, check
that it is in perfect condition and
that there is no damage that could
affect the functional safety of the
unit. If there are any defects or
the unit has been dropped to the
ground, do not use it and contact
our customer service.
2. Improper repairs can lead to
danger for the user and result
in invalidation of the warranty.
If individual parts are damaged,
they must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised
specialist company or a similarly
qualified person.
This symbol warns of toxic
substances. Do not use your
battery-powered device if any
liquid is leaking from the device
or battery.
INTENDED USE
This appliance is intended for
domestic use only, not for continuous
commercial use.
The appliance is not intended for use
by children or persons with reduced
ability to operate appliances. It may
only be used by persons who are
capable of operating equipment safely.
Use the unit as described in the
instruction manual. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage to
objects and persons caused by non-
observance.

not dishwasher-safe.

appliance or power cord on or near
hot surfaces.
6. Only use the light in a temperature
range from -10 °C to +55 °C.
7. Keep in mind that your LED Light
should not be stored outside by the
grill for extended periods of time
when the temperature is below
zero, as this can lead to irreversible
damage and a loss of capacity of
the battery.
Note: Do not mount the BBQ LED on
extremely hot places on your barbecue
(e.g., barbecue lid), as the magnet
could become demagnetised due to
the intense heat.

PRODUCT OPERATION
• Activate the light by pressing the centrally
placed button on the top.
• When you lift the lid, the light is automatically
switched on by the tilt angle sensor.
• Pressing it again dims the light to 50 % of the
maximum brightness.
• The light turns off automatically when you
close the lid.
• Memory function: The brightness level is
'remembered' when the barbecue lid is opened
and closed again.
• A third press switches the light off.
• Automatic switch-off: If the grill lid is not lifted
for 30 minutes (light off), the product switches
off automatically and must be reactivated by
pressing the on/off button.
As soon as the light is removed from the holder on
the handle, the tilt angle sensor switches off. By
pressing the centrally placed button again, you can
also use your barbecue light as a torch.

ASSEMBLY
• Mount the holder on the handle of your FREDS
or EARLS by passing the silicone strap around
the handle and snapping it into the two hooks.
• Slide the light sideways into the holder from
right to left until you feel it click into place.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
In principle, our products are subject to the
statutory warranty obligation of two years. Claims
beyond this can only be processed in conjunction
with the proof of purchase. Worn parts exclude
a warranty claim in the case of normal wear and
tear. The service life depends on the respective
treatment and use of the products and is therefore
variable.

When you take the light out of the holder, you can
attach it in different positions on your barbecue
using the magnet.
BATTERY LEVEL INDICATOR
• The battery level is displayed when the light is
switched on.
CHARGING THE PRODUCT
• To charge the product, you must first remove
the front part from the holder, open the
charging port and connect the light with the
enclosed USB cable.
• Battery level indicator during charging: current
charge level is displayed, battery level at
75 %  4. lamp flashes.
• In order to maintain the battery's optimal
charging capacity, it should be charged once
every 3 months and discharged at least once
every 6 months.
• Be sure to charge the light at a temperature
above +5 °C to +45 °C.

DISPOSAL/RECYCLING
Our products are manufactured according
to high quality standards and are designed
for a long service life. Regular maintenance
and care help to extend the service life. If
the unit is defective and cannot be repaired,
it must not be disposed of together with
your regular household waste.
Electrical parts:
You must take the unit to a designated disposal
point for the recycling of electrical or electronic
equipment. Through proper disposal and recycling,
you can make an important contribution to
protecting our environment.
This unit complies with the WEEE Directive
2002/96/EC on the disposal of waste electrical and
electronic equipment.
Battery:
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be
disposed of in household waste. You are legally
obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable
batteries. Batteries may contain harmful
substances that can damage the environment or
your health if stored or disposed of improperly. But
they also contain important raw materials that can
be recycled, such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
