Cassette Tape Use
This unit supports casettes up to C90.
Larger tapes with more than 45 minutes
of playing time (C120) per side are not
recommended. Longer duration tapes
pose a greater risk of defect for both the
cassette and the cassette player. Use only
high quality tapes with a duration of 45
minutes or less.

Playing a Cassette
This unit supports casettes up to C90. Larger

both the cassette and the cassette player. Use
only high quality tapes with a duration of 45
minutes or less.
1. Press Stop/Eject to open the cassette door
and load a cassette.
2. Close the cassette door.
3. Use the recorder’s controls to play, pause,
rewind, and fast forward audio from the
cassette. Use the Volume dial to adjust to
the desired level.
To listen with headphones
or earbuds, connect to
Headphone Jack (3.5mm audio)
Recording
Note: The recorder only records in Mono, Stereo is
not available. The recorder will automatically set
the recording level, the Volume control does not
set the recording level of the unit.
1. Press Stop/Eject to open the cassette door
and load a blank cassette.
2. Close the cassette door.
3. Connect a recording device to the cassette
player. (see steps 4 & 5 for how to connect
your device).
4. If recording from a microphone (included)
connect it to the Mic input.
5. If recording from a smartphone, radio, mp3
player or another device with a 3.5mm
audio output, connect it to the Aux In
(3.5mm audio input).
6. When you are ready to record, press the
Play and Record buttons at the same time
to begin recording audio. Do not force
the Record button down if a tape’s erase
protection tabs have been removed, this
may cause damage to the recorder.
7. Press the Pause button to pause recording.
8. Press the Pause button again to resume.
9. Press the Stop/Eject button to stop
recording. Recording will stop automatically
if you reach the end of the tape.
Using Your Cassette Recorder
AC/DC Power
Using an AC/DC power adapter (included), plug
the adapter into a standard power outlet and the
DC Power Input on the unit.
Note: Both the Play button and Record button
needs to be pushed for recording audio. The
play button will roll the cassette while the record
button records.
Battery Power
For battery power, this unit requires 4 C sized
batteries (not included).

connect to the
Microphone input.
When recording from a

player or another device,
connect to the Aux In
