Introduction
The BG-MV41A is a 4X1 HDMI quad multiviewer with seamless switching capabilities. It
supports four HDMI inputs which can be displayed on one screen in five different multiview
modes. As a switcher, it can also seamlessly switch between the four HDMI inputs in full
screen mode. The unit can be controlled through the front panel button, IR, or RS232
control.

Operation Controls and Functions
Front Panel
1. 12V/DC: Plug the 12V DC power supply into the unit and connect the adapter to the
AC wall outlet.
2. Power LED: Indicates unit is receiving power when lit.
3. HDMI Output: Connect to a display to view the signal sources.
4. RS232: Connect the RS232 port to a computer via a RS232 Cable.
5. Audio Button: Press this button to select the audio from the input sources.
6. Mode Button: Press this button to select the multiview display mode.
7. IR: Remote control receiver window.
Rear Panel
8. HDMI Inputs 1-4 LEDs: Blue LEDs illuminate when the device is connected to
sources.
9. HDMI Inputs 1-4: Connect up to 4 HDMI sources.

IR Remote
ON/OFF: Power on/off switch.
Mode select button (M1-M5, H, 1/2, 3/4, Ch1-Ch4, ):
Press these buttons to change and select the corresponding
modes (see Detailed Display Descriptions section)
Blank button: No function
Audio Select button(♪1- ♪4): Press these buttons to select
the audio from an input source
Mute button: Turn off Sound
H/S Resolution button: Upscale 720P signal to 1080P or
downscale 1080P signal to 720P.
PC Controller User Guide
Preparation
1. Connect the PC to the multiviewer through a RS232 cable.
2. Power-up the multi-viewer
3. Double click BG-MV41A Quad multiviewer.exe icon to run the program.
RS-232:
The unit provides a passthrough for RS232 signal. Connect to another RS232
device such as a PC, IP Camera, Creston control panel, Smart Matrix, and so
on. It only functions when the Tx, Rx, and your RS232 control devices baud
rates are the same.

1. Select the PC COM port that is in use and ensure that your PC’s COM port is the same
as the software’s COM port (default COM6). Next, click the “RS232 OFF” button to
start the connection.
2. Select the HDMI output resolution.
3. Select the audio from the input source.
4. Select the output mode (see the Detailed Descriptions of Display Modes section).

Connection And Operation
1. Connect the signal sources such as a Blu-Ray player, game console, audio/video
receiver, satellite receivers, or computer equipped with an HDMI output interface.
2. Connect the HDMI output of the HDMI switcher to a display device.
3. Connect the switcher to power.
4. The switcher can be controlled via the front push button, remote control, or RS232
controls.
Detailed Descriptions of Display Modes:
The product provides 5 multiview display modes as shown above.
MODE1: The four HDMI input sources are displayed in a 2x2 configuration on one screen.
MODE2: The four HDMI input sources are displayed with one bigger and three smaller
windows on one screen.
MODE3: The four HDMI input sources are displayed H-spilt on one screen.
MODE4: The two HDMI input sources are displayed in 2x1 on one screen.
MODE5: This is the full screen mode, pressing the IN1 ~ IN4 buttons will select the
corresponding channel and display it in full screen.
