Microphone Feedback
If feedback, a loud howling sound is heard when the micro-
phone is first plugged in, try the following:
1. Lower the MASTER volume or MIC volume.
2. Move the hand microphone away from the unit.
Mixed Recording
To make a mixed recording of both microphone and CD/CDG.
1. Connect the microphone(s) to MIC Socket and turn the
microphone switch ON.
2. Select and play the desired music source i.e. CD/CDG,
auxillary
3. Adjust ECHO, PITCH, and VOCAL/MUSIC controls.
Refer to the previous sections: Recording from CD/CDG and Re-
cording from Microphones for the remainder of the procedure.
Note: Every new cassette tape has erase prevention tabs.
Commercially pre-recorded tapes have the tabs removed to
prevent recording over the original material or accidental
erasure. Cover the openings with adhesive tape if you wish to
record over such cassette tape.
Compact Disc Player
The 2595AV-1 Compact Disc Player plays CD and CDG graphic
format CDs. It will display CDG graphics on a TV set when
connected as shown in the connection diagrams provided. Refer
to the Front Panel Controls while reading these instructions.
Loading a Compact Disc
To load a compact disc (CD or CDG), with power ON:
1. Set the FUNCTION selector switch to CD+G.
Note: The CD Program display will display “NO” implying there
is no CD loaded.
2. Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the CD tray.
3. Place the CD on the tray, label facing UP.
4. Press OPEN/CLOSE to close tray and load CD.
Note: The CD Program Display first displays “00,” followed by
the total number of song/tracks on the CD, then “00” once more
when a disc is first loaded. Your CD is loaded and ready to play.
Playing a Compact Disc
To play a loaded compact disc, with power ON:
1. Press PLAY/PAUSE
Note: The CD Program Display displays “1” indicating song/track
number 1 is playing.
Repeat ALL Songs
1. Press the REPEAT button twice.
Note: The CD program display shows, “Repeat ALL 1” , the CD
player will repeat ALL songs on the CD beginning with song
number 1.
Note: You can repeat ALL songs starting with any song or track.
2. Press PLAY/PAUSE, and the CD player will repeat ALL
songs (the entire CD) starting with the selected song until
STOP/CLEAR is pressed.

To pause a playing CD:
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again. Press PLAY/
PAUSE again to resume play.
To STOP a playing CD:
1. Press the STOP button.
Note: When you press PLAY again the Player will return to the
first song.
To skip to a specific song on a CD:
1. Press (SKIP >>) momentarily to skip forward one song at
a time.
2. Press (SKIP <<) momentarily to skip backward one song
at a time.
Note: The CD Program Display shows the currently playing song
or track.
Selecting a Specific Song to Play
To select a specifc song/track to play, use (SKIP >>) or (SKIP <<)
to display the desired track then push PLAY.
To select a song/track number greater than 10:
1. Press OVER, followed by the song/track number.
Repeat ONE Song
1. Press the REPEAT button once.
Note: The CD program display shows, “repeat one 1” , the CD
player will repeat one song, in this case, song number 1.
2. Use (SKIP >>) or (SKIP << ) to display a different song
number to repeat.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE, and the CD player will repeat the
song you selected until STOP/CLEAR is pressed.
Multiplex switch settings
VOCAL: (Vocal Changer)
With vocal changer on, using multiplex (karaoke) tapes, CD or
CDG, leading vocal is in right channel, accompaniment music and
background vocals are in left channel. When you sing into the
microphone, your voice overrides the leading vocal, and the lead-
ing vocal resumes only when you stop singing.
STEREO: Plays a non-multiplexed cassette tape, CD or CDG in
stereo.
MUSIC: (Music/Song Split)
When using multiplex (karaoke) tape, CD or CDG when left and
right tracks have been recorded separately, and Multiplex Switch
is set in “MUSIC” position, the leading vocal on the right channel
will be omitted, only the music and accompaniment vocals will be
heard.

Retour de son dans le micro
Si vous entendez un retour de son (c’est-à-dire un long bruit perçant
lorsque le micro est branché), essayez ce qui suit :
1. Baissez le VOLUME PRINCIPAL ou le volume du micro (MIC).
2. Éloignez le micro portatif du système.
Enregistrement mixé
Pour réaliser un enregistrement mixé avec un micro et un lecteur
de DC/DCG.
1. Connectez le ou les micros dans la prise MIC et placez
l’interrupteur du micro en position de fonctionnement.
2. Choisissez votre source de musique et faites-la jouer (DC/
DCG ou auxiliaire)
3. Réglez les commandes d’ÉCHO, d’ESPACEMENT et de
VOIX/MUSIQUE.

Lecteur de disques compacts
Le lecteur de disques compacts 2595AV-1 permet de lire les
disques compacts normaux et à format graphique (DCG). Lorsqu’il
est connecté comme sur les schémas de connexion fournis, il
peut afficher les images graphiques d’un DCG sur un téléviseur.
Lorsque vous lisez ces instructions, reportez-vous à l’illustration
des commandes du panneau avant.
Chargement d’un disque compact
Pour charger un disque compact (DC normal ou DCG) alors que
l’alimentation est sous tension :
1. Placez le commutateur de FONCTIONS sur DC+G.
Remarque : L’afficheur de programmation du DC indiquera « NO »
pour signifier qu’aucun DC n’a été chargé.
2. Appuyez sur OUVRIR/FERMER pour ouvrir la platine de DC.
3. Placez le DC sur la platine avec l’étiquette vers le haut.
4. Appuyez sur OUVRIR/FERMER pour fermer la platine et
charger le DC.
Remarque : Lorsqu’un disque est chargé, l’afficheur de
programmation du DC indique d’abord « 00 », puis le nombre total
de chansons/plages sur le DC, puis à nouveau « 00 ». Votre lecteur
de DC est chargé et prêt à jouer.
Lecture d’un disque compact
Pour entendre un disque compact chargé alors que l’alimentation
électrique est sous tension :
1. Appuyez sur LECTURE /PAUSE
Remarque : L’afficheur de programmation du DC affiche « 1 »
pour signifier que le système fait entendre la chanson/plage numéro 1.
Répétition de TOUTES les chansons
1. Appuyez deux fois sur le bouton RÉPÉTER.
Remarque : L’afficheur de programmation du DC indique « Repeat
ALL 1 » et le lecteur de DC répétera TOUTES les chansons du
DC en commençant par la chanson 1.
Remarque : Vous pouvez faire répéter toutes les chansons à partir
de n’importe quelle chanson/plage.
2. Appuyez sur LECTURE/PAUSE et le lecteur de DC
répétera toutes les chansons du DC (en commençant par la
chanson choisie), jusqu’à ce que vous enfonciez le bouton
ARRÊT/EFFACER.
Pour interrompre la lecture d’un DC :
1. Appuyez à nouveau sur LECTURE/PAUSE. Réappuyez
sur LECTURE/PAUSE pour reprendre la lecture.
Pour arrêter la lecture d’un DC :
1. Appuyez sur le bouton STOP.
Remarque : Lorsque vous appuyez à nouveau sur LECTURE, le
lecteur retourne à la première chanson.
Pour sauter une chanson quelconque d’un DC :
1. Appuyez momentanément sur (SAUTER >>) pour avancer
d’une chanson à la fois.
2. Appuyez momentanément sur (SAUTER <<) pour reculer
d’une chanson à la fois.
Remarque : L’afficheur de programmation du DC affiche la plage
ou la chanson en cours de lecture.
Choix d’une chanson spécifique à écouter
Pour choisir une chanson/plage dont le numéro est supérieur
à 10 :
1. Appuyez sur DÉPASSEMENT, puis indiquez le numéro
de chanson/plage.
Répétition d’UNE chanson
1. Appuyez une fois sur le bouton RÉPÉTER.
Remarque : L’afficheur de la programmation du DC indique
« repeat one 1 » et le lecteur de DC répétera une chanson (dans
le cas présent, la chanson 1).
2. Utilisez (SAUTER >>) or (SAUTER << ) pour afficher un
autre numéro de chanson à répéter.
3. Appuyez sur LECTURE/PAUSE et le lecteur de DC
répétera la chanson choisie jusqu’à ce que vous enfonciez
ARRÊT/EFFACER.
Positions du commutateur de multiplexage
VOIX : (échangeur vocal)
Lorsque l’échangeur vocal est en marche et que vous utilisez une
cassette, un DC ou un DCG multiplexé (karaoké), la voix principale
est dans le canal droit, tandis que la musique d’accompagnement
et le choeur sont dans le canal gauche. Lorsque vous chantez
dans le micro, votre voix remplace la voix principale, laquelle reprend
uniquement lorsque vous arrêterez de chanter.
STÉRÉO : Fait jouer en stéréo une cassette, un DC ou un DCG
non multiplexé.
MUSIQUE : (séparation musique/chanson)
Lorsque vous utilisez une cassette, un DC ou un DCG
multiplexé (pour karaoké) avec un enregistrement séparé des
pistes gauche/droite et que le commutateur de multiplexage est
placé sur « MUSIQUE », la voix principale du canal droit est
supprimée pour laisser entendre uniquement la musique et les
choeurs.
RETOUR DE SON : Si vous entendez un retour de son (c’est-à-
dire un long bruit perçant lorsque le micro est branché), essayez
ce qui suit :
1. Baissez le VOLUME PRINCIPAL ou le volume du micro (MIC).
2. Éloignez le micro portatif du système.
