rotobocciardatrice. Vi consigliamo di dare
giusta attenzione alle istruzioni d’uso
all’atto del primo impiego, agli effetti di
un uso corretto dell’utensile. È nel Vostro
interesse osservare scrupolosamente gli
avvertimenti di sicurezza riportati a pagi-
na 5 e 6. Alcune illustrazioni contenute
in questo manuale sono state ricavate da
foto di prototipi: le macchine della produ-
zione standard possono differire.

This manual contains the instructions for
correct usage of your rotary bush hammer.
We recommend dedicating sufficient at-
tention to the instructions for use before
using the tool for the first time in order to
deploy it correctly. It is in your interest to
comply scrupulously with the safety war-
nings listed on pages 5 and 6. Some of
the illustrations in this manual were taken
from photos of prototypes: standard pro-
duction machines may differ.

Le rotobocciardatrici tipo 3T e 4T sono
utensili per l’esecuzione della rotoboc-
ciardatura di superfici piane di marmi,
pietre ed agglomerati. L’invenzione stessa
dell’utensile e la qualità dei materiali che
lo compongono, consentono di aumentare
il volume di prodotto lavorabile con il mi-
nimo sforzo d’impiego. La praticità d’uso
e la robustezza dell’utensile consentono
svariate lavorazioni con le 6 diverse gra-
ne di rotobocciardatura (da fine a grossa)
presenti nel nostro catalogo, riportate a
pagina 14.

Bordo, toro (con l’ausilio anello per toro)

Può variare a seconda del tipo di rotoboc-
ciardatura e di materiale da lavorare.
Durata dell’utensile
È fortemente condizionata dal tipo di ma-
teriale lavorato.
Rumorosità
Notevolmente inferiore ai metodi di lavoro
a percussione. È sempre però obbligatorio
proteggersi con appositi DPI conformi alla
legge sulla sicurezza (vedi “avvertenze di
sicurezza” a pagina 5 e 6).

Il lavoro con la rotobocciardatrice su
macchina operatrice tipo smerigliatrice
richiede un determinato abbigliamento,
in base alle precauzioni antinfortunisti-
che emanate dai singoli Paesi di utilizzo.
Per proteggere gli occhi durante l’utiliz-
zo della rotobocciardatrice, adottare oc-
chiali protettivi o visiera.
⇒L’allestimento regolare comprende guanti
solidi ed abiti aderenti. Indossare inoltre
scarpe di sicurezza antinfortunistiche.
⇒Tenere bene in ordine il posto di lavoro.
⇒Tenere conto delle condizioni ambientali
(non esporre utensili elettrici alla piog-
gia, non utilizzare utensili elettrici in
ambienti umidi o bagnati, avere cura di
una buona illuminazione, non utilizzare
utensili elettrici nella vicinanza di liquidi
infiammabili o di gas).
⇒Salvaguardarsi da elettrificazione (evitare
il contatti con oggetti con messa a terra).
⇒Tenere lontano da bambini.
⇒Conservare gli utensili in modo sicuro.
⇒ Non sovraccaricare l’utensile.
⇒ Evitare errati impieghi del cavo.
⇒ Assicurare il manufatto (utilizzare dispo-
sitivi di bloccaggio o una morsa per te-
nere fermo il manufatto).
⇒ Evitare posizioni malsicure.
⇒ Curare attentamente gli utensili mante-
nendoli ben affilati e puliti.
⇒ Staccare la spina della presa non utiliz-
zando l’apparecchio o prima di effettuare
riparazioni o cambio di utensili.

⇒ All’aria aperta utilizzare solo cavi di pro-
lungamento appositamente ammessi e

Edge, torus (with supplementary ring for
torus) and flat surface for type 3T. Flat

Hourly productivity
May vary depending on the type of rotary bush
hammering and the material to be worked.
Life of tool
This is heavily influenced by the type of
material worked.
Noise
Notably lower than for percussion-based work
methods. However, it is still compulsory to use
suitable PPE in accordance with the law on sa-
fety (see “safety warnings” on pages 5 and 6).
Rotary bush hammers type 3T and 4T are
tools for carrying out bush hammering
work on flat surfaces of marble, stone and
agglomerate. Thanks to the invention of
this tool and the quality of the materials
used to make it, the volume of product
to be worked can be increased with mi-
nimum effort. The user-friendliness and
sturdiness of the tool mean that a variety
of work processes can be carried out with
6 different rotary bush hammering grits
(from fine to coarse) in our catalogue,
shown on page 14.
⇒It is important to read this manual care-
fully before using the rotary bush ham-
mer.
⇒When you work with the rotary bush
hammer on an operating machine such
as a grinding machine, you must wear
certain clothing in accordance with ac-
cident prevention precautions issued by
your country of use.
⇒Wear protective goggles or a visor to
protect your eyes while using the rotary
bush hammer.
⇒Proper outfitting includes strong gloves
and tight clothing. Also wear safety fo-
otwear.
⇒Keep the workplace tidy.
⇒Take account of environmental condi-
tions (do not expose electrical tools to
rain, do not use electrical tools in damp
or wet environments, make sure that the
lighting is good, do not use electrical to-
ols near inflammable liquids or gas).
⇒Safeguard against electrification (avoid
contact with items with earthing con-
nection).
⇒Keep away from children.
⇒Store tools safely.
⇒Do not overcharge the tool.
⇒Avoid wrongful use of cable.
⇒Secure the product (use anchoring devi-
ces or a clamp to keep the product still).
⇒Avoid unsafe positions.
⇒Look after tools carefully by keeping
them sharp and clean.
⇒Unplug the tool when not in use or befo-
re carrying out repairs or changing tools.
⇒Avoid accidental start-ups.
⇒For outside use, only use extension ca-
bles that are specifically permitted and
suitably marked.
⇒Check that the tool is not damaged.

⇒ La macchina utilizzata per l’applicazio-
ne della rotobocciardatrice deve essere
in condizioni ottime dal punto di vista
meccanico ed elettrico con le adeguate
protezioni.
⇒ La zona di lavoro deve essere corredata
di fonti aspiranti per la polvere.
⇒ Assicurarsi che nessuno sia nel raggio
d’azione dell’utensile durante il lavoro.
⇒ Questo utensile deve essere utilizzato da
personale qualificato e formato per l’uti-
lizzo di tali utensili.

La rotobocciardatrice tipo 3T può essere
montata su elettro macchina regolabile
elettronicamente (tipo smerigliatrice), es.
Rupes BA. L’applicazione viene eseguita
tramite il piatto “A” della rotobocciar-
datrice 3T con l’albero del mandrino della
unità elettro macchina (fig. 1).

⇒⇒ Disinserire la spina della presa di
alimentazione.
⇒⇒ Inserire la “chiave” tra la scato-

The rotary bush hammer type 3T can be
fitted onto an electronically adjustable
machine (such as a grinding machine),
e.g. Rupes BA. Fitting is carried out using
plate “A” on the 3T rotary bush hammer
with the shaft of the mandrel on the elec-
trical unit on the machine (fig. 1).

⇒⇒ ⇒Disconnect the plug from the power supply.
⇒⇒ ⇒Insert a “wrench” in the gear-
box where the mandrel is in or-
der to prevent rotation.
⇒⇒ ⇒Replace the plate in a suitable
way (see example).

Variando la distanza delle testine sul piat-
to “A”, si regola la larghezza da minimo
38 mm a max 122 mm di bocciardatura*.
*Con la testina verso l’interno, si rego-
la la larghezza in 2 posizioni: diametro
38 mm e diametro 52 mm. Con la testina
verso l’esterno si regola la larghezza in 3
posizioni: diametro 94 mm, diametro 108
mm, diametro 122 mm.
n.b.
È fondamentale bloccare sempre i due bul-
loni di ogni testina a 4 Nm ogni volta che
vengono regolate sul piatto.
Si può scegliere il tipo di bocciardatura
dalle 6 differenti grane presenti nel nostro
catalogo (da fine tipo sabbiato a grossa).

⇒⇒ Per procedere alla lavorazione posiziona-
re l’asse del mandrino Vs. smerigliatrice
con l’asse della rotobocciardatrice, avvi-
tando fino a battuta.
⇒⇒ Predisporre la larghezza della bocciarda-
trice come più desiderate (posizionamen-
to testine satelliti sul piatto forato).
⇒⇒ Quindi far lavorare la rotobocciardatrice
come una normale mola da smerigliare.
⇒⇒ Regolare la pressione a seconda del tipo
di bocciardatura predisposta.
⇒⇒ Regolare l’avanzamento e la velocità di
rotazione in base al materiale in lavora-
zione. La regolazione del numero dei giri
è indispensabile quando si vuole sceglie-
re la velocità ottimale a seconda del tipo
di materiale che si deve lavorare.
⇒⇒ Per un buon risultato è fonda-
mentale la sensibilità di lavoro
dell’operatore tra utensile boc-
ciardatore e materiale.
⇒⇒ Per smuovere le testine, utilizza-
re l’apposita chiave esagonale in
dotazione (vedi figura a destra).

operazioni di smontaggio o pulizia del
Vostro utensile.
⇒⇒ A fine lavoro è importante pulire con aria
compressa la rotobocciardatrice ed effet-
tuare un breve controllo visivo esterno di
ogni satellite (testina).
⇒⇒ Nel caso di usura meccanica di qualche
componente, effettuare immediatamente
la sostituzione contattando l’azienda o il
Rivenditore di zona.
⇒⇒ Utilizzate sempre ricambi originali.
Proper maintenance improves the use and
prolongs the life of your rotary bush ham-
mer.
⇒⇒ Remove the rotary bush hammer from the
grinding machine before dismantling or
cleaning your tool.
⇒⇒ At the end of work it is important to
clean the rotary bush hammer with com-
pressed air and carry out a brief external
visual check of each satellite (head).
⇒⇒ In the event of mechanical deterioration
of components, replace them immedi-
ately by contacting the company or your
local dealer.
⇒⇒ Always use original spare parts.
