4. Please use plastic bag for food
which either generates disagreeable
odour or contains excessive water.
5. Please keep enough space for good
cooling air circulation.
6. Please keep the bottled beverages
in the bottle bracket to avoid
extremely low temperature which
may cause them to break.
IF Any Symptom As
Mentioned Below
Happens, Please Check
* No refrigeration:
1. See if the plug is well secured in
the socket.
2. See if the current is disconnected.
* Inadequacy of refrigeration:
1. See if the refrigerator is placed too
close to the wall.
2. See if the refrigerator is exposed
to direct sunlight.
3. See if the door is opened
frequently.
4.See if any heat generating source
such as stove or heater is close to
the refrigerator.
5. See if the cool air circulation is
blocked by over storage.
6. See if the dial is in proper position
as instructed.
7. See if hot item is kept in the
refrigerator.
8. See if electric voltage is too low.
* Noise:
1. See if the door is loose.
2. See if the floor is firm enough.
3. See if the refrigerator is evenly
placed.
4. See if the pipes are in contact with
each other.
* Sweating:
1.See if this happens in wet season
or in damp weather only. (The
refrigerator is so constructed that
no sweating is supposed to occur.)
2. See if the place is wet and the
circulation of air in the room is bad.
3. See if vegetable and other water
containing items are in plastic
bags.
* Overflow of defrosted water:
1. See if drain hose is blocked.
2. See if defrosting is carried out only
when the frost is excessively accu-
mulated.

The Coldest

INSTRUCTION OF THE PARTS 1. Dial knob to the end clockwise, the
temperature is “cold”.
2. Place knob at the middle, the
temperature is “normal”.
3. Dial knob to the end counter
clockwise, the temperature is
“warm”.
4. If dial refrigerator knob to “cold”
position, and the refrigerator temp.
is not enough, please dial the
freezer knob to colder position.
FREEZER TEMP.CONTROL
(The drawing is reference only)
NO Defrosting
Fan cooling refrigerator is not
necessary to defrost the freezer or
refrigerator. It is designed and
equipped to defrost itself automatically
and the thawed water evaporats after it
drains through hose to disposal pan.
ICE-MAKING
1. Fill the ice-tray with 80% of water.
2. Twist the ice-tray to remove the ice
cubes.
MAINTENANCE
1. Unless it is necessary, do not turn
the dial frequently.
2. Keep the refrigerator in operation
even in winter.
3.Please note the following instruc-
tions when the refrigerator is to be
left inoperative for a long period.
A. Detach the plug from socket.
B. Wait for complete defrosting.
C. Clean both the compartments
and accessories thoroughly with
lukewarm water mixed with a
little bicarbonate of soda.
D. Leave the door open for at least
2 or 3 days to permit free
circulation of air. So as to
prevent the forming of dis-
agreeable odour.
4. In and out the cabinet:
Wipe the entire surface with a piece
of soft wet cloth or with lukewarm
water mixed with a little bicarbonate
of soda or mild detergent, but not
with hot water, acid, alcohol, strong
detergent and gasoline.
5. Accessories:
Soap water may be used for
cleaning the ice-tary, inner shelf,
crisper and water disposal pan.
6. Mechanical part:Hermetic type
comperessor requires no oiling.
CAUTION
1. When you discard a refrigerator
completely, remove the doors to
prevent child entrapment.
2. Perishable food such as icecream,
fish or meat (for long storage)
should be kept in the freezing
compartment.
3. Due to the circulation of cool air, the
coldest temperature of refrigerator
exists in lower shelf (as figure).
The Method to Change a Lamp.
1. Uses a screwarive to remove the
lampshade.
2. Takes off the lamp in anti-clockwise
direction and puts it on in clockwise
direction.
OPERATION
1. Attach plug into socket.
2. When the door is opened, the lamp
inside the refrigerator lights for
illumination.
It also signifies that electric current
is on.
3. Temperature is controlled according
to the dial plate as shown in the
figure.
4. When detach the plug from socket,
please wait 7 minutes before
restarting the compressor.
