SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short detachable power supply cord is provided to reduce the
hazards resulting from becoming entangled in, or tripping over a
longer cord. Longer detachable power supply cords may be used if
care is exercised in their use.
The electrical rating of the longer cord should be at least that
of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension cord
is too low, it could overheat and burn.
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by

BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
Before using your humidifier, please make sure that you position the
appliance on a flat and hard surface, which is water-resistant. Avoid
using on any porous or delicate surface that could be damaged by
water. Do not use on an unstable surface, from which the humidifier
could tilt and drop.
Using is a well-ventilated place helps for a good repartition of the
humidification.
OPERATION
Separate the water tank and central body, turn over the tank
and remove the cap from the bottom of the tank, turning it
counterclockwise
Fill the tank with cold water; do not fill completely.
Replace the cap, aligning the notches on the tank with the
grooves on the cap, and turn it clockwise.
Turn the tank over, and place it on the main body, making sure it
fits perfectly.
Plug in and turn on the appliance using the power switch; the
green pilot light in the humidifier housing lights on. After a few
seconds, vapor will start to spray out from the spray nozzle.
Use the mist intensity control to adjust the quantity of mist output.
Turning the knob clockwise will increase the moisture output.
NOTE: it is NOT recommended to use the mist output at a
maximum level at first, as this might spray too much mist and a
pool of water might form near the appliance. Please start with a
medium setting and adjust later to the desired mist output.
The humidifier has a safety system that switches the appliance off
before it runs completely out of water, due to the water level
float. When the water will be almost depleted, the red LED will
light on. This safety feature is made to protect the nebulizer from
being damaged due to lack of water.
To resume operation, simply switch off, refill the water tank with
fresh water and place the tank back on the main housing. Switch
back on to start humidifier’s function.

7
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before any cleaning operation, switch the appliance off and unplug
it.
Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
Apart from the electrical controls and when the unit is off, any
part of the humidifier may be wiped with a soft damp cloth and
buffed with a dry cloth, ensuring the unit is unplugged.
There may be some mineral deposits in the nebulizer, particularly
if the water in your area is hard. This deposit will influence the
humidification process and decrease performance gradually.
HENCE, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO USE PURIFIED WATER.
Please clean the nebulizer with water and vinegar on a soft cloth
regularly, as follows:
1. Dampen a cloth with vinegar and wipe the nebulizer gently,
until the mineral deposit disappears.
2. Rub down with a dry cloth and remove remains of humidity.
2. Do NOT rub the nebulizer with hard or abrasive objects.
4. Do NOT clean with chemical products.
Clean the inside of the water tank at least once a week, as
follows:
1. Fill the tank with clean water adding a few drops of bleach or
a similar disinfectant, or mild cleaning detergent (not much or
else it will be more difficult to rinse). Close the tank completely
with its cap and shake forcibly.
2. Rinse thoroughly.
Note: Water accumulated over long periods may create bacteria
and mildew (fungus).
With each change of water the use is recommended to remove
dust and any lime remains on the nebulizer (preferably use a
small soft brush, like a toothbrush).
Do not place the nebulizer directly under the tap to avoid
permanent damage.
Never immerse the unit in water or let water enter the air outlet or
any other openings.
Water must not get inside the base part; should that happen,
take it to an authorized service center before using it again.

8
STORAGE
Save the box for off-season storage.
Always drain and clean before storage.
Make sure the tank, reservoir and all parts are thoroughly dry
before storage.
If water is left in the unit during storage, it may harden and leave
deposits that can prevent the unit from operating properly later.
Leave the cap of the water tank loose or apart, during storage,
to prevent the tank and the gasket from sticking together. This will
prolong the life of the gasket.
A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY
It is best to keep the humidity level at about 30-50 percent of
relative humidity.
The comfort level of humidity will vary from room to room and
with changing room conditions.
In cold weather, especially in unventilated areas, windows and
even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor
humidity. If this occurs, reduce the mist intensity setting to avoid
damage from condensed water dripping on windows or walls.
Too much humidity in the room may allow moisture to
accumulate on surfaces where bacteria and fungi can grow.
Moisture that gathers may also damage furniture and walls,
especially wallpaper.
To eliminate excessive humidity, especially in small rooms, leave
the room door open and adjust the mist intensity control setting.
