period of one year from the date of purchase, should any defect develop due to faulty or defective
workmanship or material.

The cooking range should be used as per the directions given in the users guide. Any defect
caused by improper or reckless use are not covered under guarantee.
No modification/alteration of any nature is made in the cooking range.
The company accepts no responsibility for any consequential losses arising out of misuse or

Unpack the cooking range and accessories.
Position the cooking range in a suitable place. Please ensure
that the cooking range is kept 65 mm away from the rear
wall. The walls around cooking range should be able to
withstand 80ºC temperature. A minimum gap of 50 mm
should be kept if cooking range is being installed near a
wooden cabinet. The provision for the gas connection
should be from the left side.
Level the cooking range by adjusting the legs.
Take the supporting rails and fix in the oven chamber by
inserting one side in the hole provided in the oven back wall
and slide the hook in the side wall.
Fit the gas pipe onto the inlet nozzle of cooking range.

In all models switch B is for auto ignition.
In model CRC 212 the auto ignition works with
battery.
In model CRC 213 the auto ignition works with
electricity.
Minute Minder
The cooking range models CRC 661/991 INOX are provided with a
minute minder. After the set time period has elapsed the minute-
minder signals the user with an alarm.
To use the device, wind the minute-minder by turning the knob
clockwise one complete turn. Then turn the knob anti-clockwise to
correspond to the selected cooking time. The user must turn off the
cooking cycle by hand using the relative knobs.
Triple Ring Burner & Sealed Burners
The cooking range has a new high energy triple ring burner with
enamelled steel cover for faster cooking. It also has the international
sealed auxiliary and semi rapid burners.
Before igniting these burners ensure that the burner and cover are
properly placed in position. If they are not kept properly the burners
might get deformed.
(Model CRC 212/213 have conventional burners.)
Cooking
The cooking ranges are provided with multi spark auto ignition. Turn
the knob corresponding to the selected burner anticlockwise to the
MAXIMUM position. Press the ignition button marked with a star and
release it as soon as the burner is ignited.
Grilling
For using the grill place the sliding rack in the grill chamber. Position
the drip tray under the sliding rack. Place the food to be grilled on the
rack. Turn the grill burner knob and light the grill burner by placing a
lit matchstick near the edge of the grill burner. Adjust the flame as per
your requirement. Once the food is grilled switch off the burner and
remove the food.
In models CRC 661/991 INOX the gas grill is controlled with the same
knob as the gas oven but by turning it clockwise instead of
anticlockwise. The grill always burns at maximum position.

Grilling on the shelf : Place the shelf supplied on the levels 1 or 2 and
the foods to be grilled on top, insert the tray on the lower levels to
collect the juices. Ignite the grill as explained above.
Grilling with the rotisserie : To grill with the rotating skewer, insert the
skewer holder on the side shelves at level 3. Insert the food on the
skewer and insert the point of the skewer into the spindle that projects
out from the rear of the oven, resting the front of the skewer on the
skewer holder support. Insert the tray into one of the lower guides, light
the grill burner and press the button to start the rotisserie.
Always grill foods with the door open.
Baking
Position the sliding rack/drip tray at the required level.
For CRC 212/213/661/991 INOX, rotate the thermostat knob holding
a lit matchstick or a gas lighter near the opening in the oven burner
cover as shown in the figure. Turn the knob to the required
temperature setting. Preheat oven for 15-20 minutes. Open the oven
door and place the dish quickly. Once baking is complete switch off the oven and take out the dish.
Thermostat
An oven thermostat is provided with variable positions corresponding
to different temperature setting ±10ºC. Select the position as per the
requirement of the dish being baked.
For CRC 661/991 INOX the thermostat knob has 8 positions marked
which correspond to the temperatures as shown in the table.
FFD (Flame Failure Device)
The Grill Burner & Oven Burner in model CRC213 are provided with a flame failure device to
safeguard against gas spillage. While igniting oven burner/ Grill burner in the CRC213 Inox keep the
thermostat knob pressed for 6-8 seconds to activate the device, otherwise the flame will not ignite.
Dish Warmer
The cooking range models CRC 661/991 are also provided with a dish
warming compartment at the base of the oven chamber.

MAINTAINING YOUR COOKING RANGE

Use a soft cloth moistened with water to wipe dust, smudges, and stains off.
Clean the burner holes with burner cleaning pin.
Wash the burner tops with hot soapy water, at least once a month.
Spill tray, grill chamber and oven chamber are vitreous enameled and can be cleaned easily.
STEPS TO SAFETY
Always use ISI mark rubber tubing of not longer than 1.5 meters.
Keep gas cylinder upright.
Never try to repair your cooking range yourself. Contact our service centre.
Dont light the burner immediately in case of a flame failure.
When not in use keep the cylinder regulator off.
Never keep the cooking utensils on the burner top.
Dont open the oven door frequently, to avoid heat loss.
Always use baking gloves.
