In order to prevent waste of energy, the pots to be u sed should not be smaller or larger thanthe burner surfaces.Take the necessary measures so that small children will not come close to the burner surfacein any way, as it will be hot in operating position.Due to the flammable nature of hot oil, operations such as frying should be performed with thecontainer lids closed.Do not cut anything, bread etc., on the glass. Do not use pots with aluminium bottoms.Avoid placing too heavy materials on your hob.Do not place materials such as plastic, aluminium on the ceran glass surface. If for any reasonthere shou ld be a plastic or aluminium material melted on it, clean it up with a spatulaimmediately.Do not wipe the ceramic surface with materials such as dish cloth or sponge. Residues ofdetergents may lead to fire as well as cause the glass colour to fade.4.5 USIN G THE OVEN PART OF THE APPLIANCE :Oven Function Control B utton :For you to select the oven functions (Figure 10). Explained inthe next Part and in Table 1. You need to adjus t the functionselection b utton and the oven thermostat button together to ate mperature value you wish to select. Otherwise, the functions tage you selected will not operate.Oven Thermostat Button:For you to select the oven temperatur e (Figure 11). Usedtog ether with the oven function control button. When thetemperature inside your oven reaches the value you set,the thermostat will cut the circui t and the thermostat light willgo off. The turbo fan function evenly disperses the heat in the oven. All foods on all racks will becooked evenly.Adjust the thermostat button to the desired degree. Turn the function button so it will point tothe Turbo function symbol . After completing the prehea ting of 10 minutes, place the foodsinto the oven, which need to be put into suitable co ntainers. This function is suitable forcooking multiple dishes.Lower-Upper Heating Element Function (Static Cooking) :In this type of cooking which is described as the traditional method, the heat emanatingevenly from the lower and upper resistors into the oven ensures even cooking of the lowerand upper side of the food that you are cooking. Adjust the thermostat button of your oven toa temperature recommended on the cooking table for the cooking operation you will perform.A preheating of the oven for about 10 minutes is recommended. Leave the food to cook, whichis placed in a suitable container, for the recommended duration. This position is a preferredfunction in making cakes, sponge cakes, pastry, baked pasta, lasagne, pi zza.After the cooking/baking, turn off the oven function control button and the thermostat buttonand cancel the timer program if available. Take the cooked/baked food out of the oven, placeit on a safe place and ensure that the oven completely cools off by keeping the oven door open.As the oven will be hot, stay away from the oven and keep your children away as well.Turbo Fan Function :You can start the defrost operat ion by putting the frozenfood into the oven and bringing the button to the indicatedmark. This function does not cook/bake the food; it onlyhelps defrost it within a short time. Put the food to bedefrosted on the wire rack that you will place on the thirdrack support from the bottom (F igure 12). To collect thewater to accumulate due to the melting ice, insert an oventray into the lower rack.Defrost Function :Figure 12Availability of the functions explained below vary depending on the product model.4.6 USING THE OVEN FUNC TION CONTROL BUTTON :

This is the position where the air coming from the lower and upper heating elements iscirculated into the oven by the fan motor and blade.Adjust the thermostat button of your ov en to a temperature recommended on the cookingtable for the cooking operation you will perform. Turn the oven button so it will point to thesymbol of this function, adjust the oven timer to the recommended time for the cooking andpreheat the oven for about 10 minutes. The food placed in a suitable container is put into theoven and the operation is started. This position is a position where usually very good resultsare obtained in baking pastry. All p arts of the foods will be cooked evenly in this position.Suitable for cooking with one tray.After the cooking/baking, turn off the oven function control button and the temperature settingbutton and cancel the timer program if available. Take the cooked/baked food out of the oven,place it on a safe place and ensure that the oven completel y cools off by keeping the ovendoor open. As the oven will be hot, stay away from the oven and keep your children awayas well.Fan and the Lower-Upper Heating Element Function (Static Cooking With Fan) :If you are going t o cook using two trays at the same time; whi le adjusting the c ookingtemperature, select the temperature that is the lowest among the levels suitable for your foods,as shown on the table. Cooking with two trays requires additional cooking time compared tocooking with one tray. Usually, the foods on both trays do not finish at the same time. Therefore,take the tray out of the oven, which yo u observed is finished, and continue th e cookingoperation for the other tray.After the cooking/baking, turn off the oven function control button and the thermostat buttonand cancel the timer program if available. Take the cooked/baked food out of the oven, placeit on a safe place and ensure that the oven completely cools off by keeping the oven dooropen. As the oven will be hot, stay away from the oven and keep your children away as well.Grill an d Roast Chicken Function :This function is used for grills, roast chicken and roaston skewer. For roasting, use the roast skewer (Figure 13).For grills; put the foods on the grill, and t he grill on thehighest rack. After placing the oven tray on the 3. rack,you can start the grill operation. The tray placed onthe 3. rack will ensure that the oil dropping from thefoods will be collected.When grilling, the oven door must be closed and the oven temperature should beadjusted to 190°.Turn your oven’s thermostat button so it will point to this temperature value. After a preheatingperiod of 5 minutes, put your foods into the oven.After the c ooking, turn off the oven function control button and the thermostat button andcancel the timer program.Figure 13

Accessories Used in the Oven :It is recommended that you use the containers indicated on the table depending on the foodyou will cook in your oven. Apart from the oven trays and inner grill roast chicken skewer whichare supplied together with your oven, you can also use glass containers, cake cutters, specialoven trays suitable for use in your oven, available in the market. Pay attention to the informationgiven by the manufacturer firm concerning this issue.If small sized containers are used, place this container on the inner grill wire so it will beprecisely on the middle of the wire. The information given below should be implemented forenamelled containers.If the food to be cooked does not completely cover the oven tray, if the food is taken out of thedeep-freezer or if the tray is used to collect the dripping juices of the foods during the grilloperation; deformation might be observed on the tray due to hig h temperatures formingduring the cooking/frying operation. However; the tray will regain its shape after cooling offfollowing the cooking operation. This is a normal, physical state that results during the heattransfer. Do not lea ve a glass tray or contai ner in a cold environment immediately aftercooking in them.Do not place them on cold and wet surfaces. Ensure that they slowly cooloff placing them on a dry piece of cloth. Otherwise, the glass tray or container might break.If you are going to perform a grill operation in your oven, we recommend that you use the grillon the tray, supplied together with your product (if your product includes this equipment). Thisway, splattering and dripping oils will not make the oven interior dirty. If you are going to usethe large wire grill, insert a tray into one of the lower racks to avoid accumulation of the oils.To make cleaning easier, add some water into it as well.
