Carlinkit TBOX/V3 FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions and Answers)
→Note (please read carefully before purchasing).
This CarPlay AI box V3 is only available for cars from 2015 onwards with the original
wired CarPlay (touch screen).
Please follow the three instructions below.
1, Check if there is a CarPlay icon on your car's audio system.
2, Plug your iPhone into the car's factory USB port using the factory cable. If "Use
CarPlay" appears on the iPhone, the car is probably equipped with the CarPlay standard.
3, You can also check at the dealership.
→How to switch the language to English/Other language.
1. First, click on 'Settings'.
2. Find 'System', click it and go to it.
3. Click 'Languages & input'.
4. Click on 'Languages'.
5. Press and hold the language you want to change, and drag it to the top.
→How to use the new Carlinkit V3 CarPlay AI Box:
Android system
Prepare an Internet environment such as a smartphone (with a hotspot) or mobile Wi-Fi /
in-vehicle Wi-Fi.
1. Connect the CarPlay AI Box to the CarPlay USB port of the vehicle with the USB cable
provided. If the USB port is a USB Type-C port, use the supplied Type-C to C cable to
make the connection.
2. After connection, open CarPlay from the vehicle unit screen and confirm that the
Android system screen is displayed.
3. Go to the settings of the Android system screen and select your network in the
"Network and Internet" section.
4. Select the hotspot or Wi-Fi you have prepared and enter the password to connect.
5. Enjoy the pre-installed apps. Or, to download additional apps, log in to the Google
Play Store. *A Google account is required to download apps. *Please note that some
apps may not work due to app or OS specifications.

Wireless CarPlay:
1, Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi on the phone
2, Open Autokit, click on Bluetooth in the upper left corner of Autokit and turn on the
Bluetooth switch.
3, Find your phone's Bluetooth name, select your phone's Bluetooth, and click Connect.
4, The phone will pop up a Bluetooth pairing request name, click Pairing - Allow
5, Return to the Autokit interface and start using Wireless CarPlay
Wireless Android car.
1. Open Autokit, click on Bluetooth in the upper left corner of Autokit, turn on the
Bluetooth switch
2. Open Android Auto APP on your phone, click Settings - find Bluetooth option, click
Open - "Do you want to exit Android Car?" and click [Exit].
3. Find the phone settings - turn on WiFi - connected devices - search for the signal of
Autokit box - click on pairing.
4. Return to Autokit interface and start using Wireless Android Auto after successful
connection.
How to connect to WiFi:
1. connect this product to your car and wait for a while, then it will automatically enter the
Android system.
2. open "Settings" - "Network and Internet" - "WiFi" on the product - find the name of the
WiFi you want to connect to - click "Connect".
How to connect to a mobile hotspot: 1.
1. turn on the mobile hotspot. 2.
2. connect this product to your car and wait for a while, it will automatically enter the
Android system.
3. open "Settings" - "Network and Internet" - "WiFi" on the product, find the name of the
mobile hotspot and click to connect
How to connect to the mobile hotspot:.
1. Turn on the mobile hotspot.
2. Connect the product to your car and wait for a while, it will automatically enter the
Android system.
3. Open "Settings"-"Network and Internet"-"WiFi" on the product, find the name of the
mobile hotspot and click connect to it.

→Can This Al Box pair with two phones at the same time?
This CarPlay Al Box can only be paired with one phone. If you want to pair with another
phone, please cancel the paired phone and pair it again.
→Can I download Amazon prime video movies to Carplay AI Box
and watch them on my car navigation system?
Yes, you can download and save movies from the CarPlay Al Box itself with the Amazon
Prime Video app. You can also play them offline after saving. Alternatively, you can save
Amazon Prime Video movies to a micro SD card in advance and insert the micro SD card
into the CarPlay Al Box unit before viewing.
→Netflix is not available to watch.
If you are unable to use Netflix, please connect the CarPlay ai box unit to your car and
when the Carlinkit screen appears, click "Settings" -> "System" -> "Reset Options" ->
"Clear all data (factory reset)". If you still cannot solve the problem, please feel free to
contact us.
→How to download the APK and install the app.
1. connect this product to your car and wait for a while, it will automatically enter the
Android system.
2. insert SIM card or open "Settings" - "Network and Internet" - "Open WiFi" to connect
mobile WiFi or cellular hotspot to get data.
3. open a browser and enter the APK URL - click Download and Install - the installation is
successful and you can open it.
→Compatible SIM cards: DoCoMo (docomo) & SOFTBANK
(Softbank)
If the inserted SIM card is not recognized
1. Make sure the card is facing the correct way.
2. Manually select the APN.
In the network settings, there is a setting APN on the back, set the APN manually

(Settings-Network & internet-Access Point Names-Set APN manually or add APN with
the + sign on this page)
→Unable to connect automatically.
Open Autokit, click upper left corner > [Settings] > [Wireless Auto Connect] (Do not use
WIFI and Bluetooth)
→Check the system version.
1. First click on Settings.
2. Find 'AutokitTbox Settings', click and go to it. 3.
3. Scroll to the bottom. The version number is at the bottom
→How to factory reset the box:
1. First click on Settings.
2. Find "System" and click to enter.
3. Select "Advanced".
4. Enter "Reset Options
5. Select the second "Restore factory settings
Note: When connecting to wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto for the first time
after operating the Factory Reset, you will need to manually enter the Tbox System
Settings - Network - Hotspot (open the hotspot manually)

→How to upload logs:
1. prepare the U disk and TF card, insert the TF card into the U disk.
Insert the USB flash drive into the computer and format the USB flash drive as FAT32.
3. pull out the U disk, remove the TF card, and insert the TF card into the AI box (be
careful not to reverse the direction, otherwise the card will be damaged). If the card is
inserted the wrong way, pieces of the card slot will be damaged, resulting in the card slot
being damaged), insert the AI box into the car.
4. After reproducing the problem, remove the TF card.
5. Reinsert the TF card into the U disk. Connect it to the computer. Check to see if the
"X7_Log" file is present. If present, the log has been read successfully. Simply copy the
entire TF card file, unzip it, and send it to the seller support team.
→Check the running memory.
Go to Settings, About Autokit-Box, click on the version number five times in a row, then
System, Advanced, Developer Options, first line, Show memory.
