Installation/Operation Instructions
General Information
Please read these instructions and keep them in a safe place. These
instructions must be followed carefully to ensure proper operation.
Web Interface Server (TT-WIS) module provides a convenient way
for people to know the real-time status of the site through internet
(TCP/IP). It has been designed for use with TraceTek TTSIM-2 /
TTSIM-1A / TTSIM-1 by using RS485 MODBUS communication.
All connected TTSIM-2 / TTSIM-1A / TTSIM-1 data will be accessed
via web browser. In all cases, each WIS offers the following list of
features and specification.

Mounting the TT-WIS inside the TT-BBC Case
Installing the TT-WIS
Loosen the two screws on TT-WIS as shown in Figure 2
Attach the TT-WIS to the top right hand corner of the TT-BBC
(Figure 3), case and tighten the two screws at the back of the
TT-BBC case

Mounting the TT-WIS on the Wall
Attach the Wall Mount Bracket to the back
of the TT-WIS and tighten the screws
Attach the unit to the wall and tighten the
screws
Mounting the TT-WIS onto the DIN-Rail
Attach the DIN-Rail Mount Bracket (Figure 4) to the
back or to one of the two sides of the TT-WIS and
tighten the four screws
Attach the unit to the 35 mm DIN-Rail (Figure 5)

Description
A constant light indicates the power is on
A blinking light indicates transmit of
data during boot up and successful
communication with TTSIM
A blinking light indicates transmit of
data after successful communication
with TTSIM
A green light indicates that TT-WIS is
connected successfully and remains
power on
A blinking light indicates that TT-WIS is
communicating with other devices
Reset TT-WIS to Factory Default
If the TT-WIS cannot be accessed or if you lose your password, please follow the steps below:
1. Power off the TT-WIS
2. Press and hold the Reset button
3. Power on the TT-WIS
4. Release the Reset button after 10 seconds (Make sure the Power LED blinked once)
Remark:
Only the settings of System Setup will be restored to factory default, Email Setup and History Log will not be affected.

Viewing Status and Programming
Operating Instructions
There are four selectable items in this page: Status, History Log, System Setup and Email Setup.
(Default Fixed IP Address: 192.168.1.254)

Status
Attach the Wall Mount Brackets to the two sides of the
TTSIM-WIS/4 and tighten the screws

The Status page shows the real-time
status of connected TTSIM devices
with the WIS internal clock. This page
refreshes every 5 seconds automatically
(Browser Support: Internet Explorer 8,
Firefox 4, Safari 5, Chrome 5 or above).
The TTSIM address (Slave ID), total
length and leak location are shown in
this page. There are four types of
alarm status
The TTSIM-WIS/4 stores history log internally with non-volatile memory,
activities such as Alarm, System Started, Mail Sent, etc. All history log is
time stamped (24-hour time) with specified address and event. User can
export XML, HTML format file to keep the record. It can store up to 64 records.

System Setup
Login is required for the System Setup page. It is used to describe and configure the WIS network. The content
of the Unit Name, Location and Description field will be displayed at the top of each page. The TTSIM-WIS/4
also supports DHCP function and Static IP function. If the IP address is lost, the device can be found by the
Microchip Ethernet Device Discoverer.

Changing the Admin Password
For security concern, user is strongly advised to
change the default password. Input your own
password and then “Save”.
Changing the TT-WIS Internal Clock
To synchronize the internal clock of TT-WIS with PC
time, click the check box of “Synchronize Current PC
Time” and then “Save”.

Login is required for the Email Setup page. In
the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)
section, users can input the SMTP server which
they want to use to send out the alert email.
The TT-WIS supports up to four Email Contacts.
