1.8. Do not over reach. Keep proper footing and bal-
ance at all times. This enables better control of the
blower vac in unexpected situations.
1.9. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jew-
ellery; Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can
be caught in moving parts.
1.10. Do not force the blower vac. Use the correct
blower vac for your application. The correct blower vac
will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it
was designed.
1.11. Do not use the blower vac if the switch does not
turn it on and off. Any part of the blower vac that can-
not be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must
be repaired.
1.12. Ensure the blower vac is off before making any
adjustments.
1.13. Store out of the reach of children and do not allow
persons unfamiliar with the blower vac or these instruc-
tions to operate the blower vac. Blower Vacs are dan-
gerous in the hands of untrained users.
1.14. Use the blower vac in accordance with these in-
structions and in the manner intended, taking into ac-
count the working conditions and the work to be per-
formed.
1.15. Use of the blower vac or operations different from
intended could result in a hazardous situation.
1.16. Have your blower vac serviced by a qualied re-
pair person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the blower vac is main-
tained.
1.17. Never operate the blower vac while people, espe-
cially children, or pets are nearby.
1.18. The operator or user is responisble for accidents
or harzards the may occur to other people or their prop-
erty.
Blower Vacuum Safety Rules
1.19. Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders or
solid objects. The force of the air can cause objects to
be blown or ricochet, which can harm people.
1.20. Never place objects inside blower tubes.
1.21.Never operate with any air openings blocked. Keep
air openings free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may
reduce airow. Do not plug anything into openings or
blowers tubes.
1.22. Never use the appliance for spreading chemicals,
fertilizer, or any other substances that may contain toxic
materials. Do not use appliance as a sprayer of am-
mable liquids.
1.23. Keep all the air intakes and the blower tube free
of dust, lint, hair and other material that may cause a

Vacuum (hereinafter referred to as the “blower vac”).
This manual will assist you in operating and maintain-
ing your blower vac. This manual is the latest version.
With the continuous improvement and upgrading of
this product, the manufacturer reserves the right to
modify this manual without notice. The manufacturer
shall assume no liability for incorrect information
contained in this manual.
This manual is an integral part of the blower vac. When
the blower is transferred to others, this manual should
be handed over to the new owner.
Some important information in this manual will be
indicated in the following way (please see below). The
users should pay special attention to these instruc-
tions.
The range of CASALS Outdoor Power tools is safe
and reliable, but incorrect use of these products
may cause personal injury and or damage to your
machine. Please read this manual thoroughly before
operation as this product is required to operate
strictly in accordance with this manual.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
WARNING: When using the blower vac, basic safety
precautions including the following safety instruc-
tions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
re, electric shock and personal injury. Read all these
instructions before operating this product and retain
these instructions for future reference.
1. GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1.1. Do not operate this product in an explosive atmos-
phere, such as in the presence of ammable liquids,
gases or dust.
1.2. Keep children and bystanders away while operat-
ing the blower vac. Distractions can cause you to lose
control.
1.3. Do not expose the blower/vac to rain or wet condi-
tions.
1.4. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing and use com-
mon sense when operating the blower vac.
1.5. Do not operate the blower vac when you are tired
or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
1.6. Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropri-
ate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
1.7. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turn-
ing blower vac on. A wrench or a key left attached to a

reduction in air ow.
1.24. Use extra care when using on stairs.
1.25. Disconnect electrical supply before opening inlet
cover or installing pick up tubes. Never operate the unit
without inlet cover secured or pick-up tubes in place.
1.26. Always inspect the area before starting the appli-
ance to remove debris and hard or sharp objects that
can be blown or cause damaged during operation
1.27. Never operate this appliance when you are tired, ill
or under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
1.28. Always run the appliance with the blower tubes
attached to the unit.
1.29. Always work moving away from solid objects
such as walls, large stones, automobiles and fences.
1.30. Clean spaces with corners by starting in corners
and moving outward to straight areas to prevent an ac-
cumulation of debris, which could y into face.
1.31. Be careful when working near valuable plants. The
force of air could damage tender plants.
1.32. Uses for your blowers: sweeping debri or grass
clippings from driveways, sidewalks, patios, parks,
parking lots, barns, etc.
1.33. Gathering grass clippings, straw or leaves into
piles. Removing debri from corners, around joints and
between bricks.
1.34. Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before
blowing.
1.35. Use the full blower nozzle extension so the air
stream can work closer to the ground.
1.36. Only use a weather proof extension cable tted
with a coupler according to IEC 60320-2-3

4. Use and care:
4.1. Assembly:
1)Slide the upper tube into the motor housing, then
tighten the screws and make sure the tube is rmly xed
with motor housing.
2)Insert lower tube into upper tube and push them un-
til they are connected rmly together then tighten the
screws.
3) Assemble the wheels to the lower tube as following
picture shows.
4)Attach the collection bag to the hook on bottom tube
(a) and the outlet on the bottom of motor housing (b).
4.2. Before Use:
4.2.1. Before using the blower vac, check the supply
and extension cord for signs of damage and aging. Do
not use the blower vac if the cord is damaged or worn.
4.2.2. Never operate the blower vac with defective
gaurds or shields, or without safety devices, for exam-
ple debris collector in place.
4.3. Operation:
Before stating the machine, make sure that the blower/
vac is completely assembled, that the collection bag is
tted and the shoulder harness is adjusted to a suitable
working position.
Switching on and off
•To switch on, press and hold the ON/OFF switch to
turn the blower/vac on.
•Release the ON/OFF switch to turn the blower/vac off

Speed Control (see g. 3)
Push the knob of adjuster from”1” to ”6”, the speed will
be adjusted from 9000rpm to 14000rpm , the bigger
gure stands for the higher speed.

Blowing mode
Blow mode can be used to clean corners, fences, walls,
wooden areas or beneath cars.
•Turn the Function switch anticlockwise to the position
of blow mode. (Fig. 4.)
•Turn the switch to on, point the blower/vac in front
of you and move forward slowly to gather together the
leaves or to move the leaves from inaccessible areas.
Vacuum mode
•Set the Function switch clockwise to the position of
vacuum mode. (Fig. 4)
•Make sure that the collection bag is tted properly.
•Hold the blower vac several centimetres over the
leaves which you are going to suck up. Now switch the
machine on.
•Hold the machine tilting the Blower/Suction tube
slightly, and use a sweeping action to collect light debris
with approximately 50mm distance between the open-
ing of Blower/Suction tube and the oor or ground to
be clean up.
•The leaves will be sucked up into the tube, chopped up
and deposited into the collection bag.

4.4. Operation warnings:
4.4.1. Always direct the cable to the rear, away from
the blower vac.
4.4.2. Do not carry the blower vac by the cable.
4.4.3. Disconnect the blower vac from the mains supply
•Whenever you leave the maching
•Before clearing a blockage
•Before checking, cleaning or working on the blower
•If the blower vac starts to vibrate abnormally.
4.4.4. Operate the blower vac in day light or in good
articial light.
4.4.5. Always be sure of your footing on slopes.
4.4.6. Never run with the blower vac
4.4.7. Keep all cooling air inlets clear of debris.
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Release the ON/OFF switch and unplug the power
supply before the appliance is serviced, cleaned or
maintenance is performed.
5.2. Keep air intake clean and air vents free of debris to
avoid overheating the motor.
5.3. Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic
parts of the tool. A mild detergent on a damp cloth is
recommended. Water must never come into contact
with the tool.
5.4. If the blower vibrates abnormally stop the motor
immediately. Abnormal vibration usually indicates a me-
chanical problem and continued operation could lead to
injury or damage.
5.5. No lubrication is necessary as the motor is
equipped with lifetime-lubricated bearings.
5.6. If the blower does not operate, turn switch to
“Switch off “position and disconnect from power sup-
ply rst, then from blower. If the blower still does not
operate, contact the specialist. Do not attempt to repair
it yourself. There are no serviceable parts inside.
5.7. Check the debris collector frequently for wear or
deterioration.
5.8. Store the blower vac in a dry place.

Casals guarantees that this product has been thoroughly inspected and tested before being dispatched and is
free from mechanical and electrical defects and complies with the applicable safety standards. However, should
defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, within 6 months from the
date of purchase please return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund or replace-
ment.
The following conditions apply:
1. Please ensure you retain your receipt as this must be presented when making a claim under the terms of the
warranty. It is impossible to determine the warranty period without proof of purchase, so please keep this in
a safe place.
2. If a refund or exchange is required the product must be complete with all accessories, parts and packaging.
3. Missing parts will render the warranty void.
4. Upon receipt of your appliance check it for any transport damage to ensure it is safe for use. Return it to the
store as soon as possible for exchange if damaged. The warranty is void if products are damaged after use,
so please do not use the damaged product.
5. Your product is designed for normal domestic household use. Failure to read and comply with the instruc-
tions for use, cleaning and maintenance will render your warranty void, so please read these instructions
carefully to ensure your safety, and get the most effective use from the product.
6. Any abuse, negligent, improper use will render the warranty void and Creative Housewares (Pty) Ltd
will not be liable for any loss or damage.
7. This Guarantee will not apply if this tool is damaged by accident or from normal wear and tear.
8. Any attempted repair, or replacement of unauthorised parts will render the warranty void, so please contact
an authorised service centre or agent for any service or repair requirements.
9. Accessories such as bits, blades, sanding disc, cutting lines, etc are excluded from this guarantee.
10. Normal consumables parts, such as carbon brushes, bearings, chucks, cord assembly’s, spark plugs,
recoil pulleys and bump head assembly’s are specically excluded from this guarantee.
Extended 24 Month Limited Warranty
Casals takes pride in their product quality and therefore offer an extended 24 month limited warranty from the
original date of purchase to offer the consumer peace of mind on their purchase.
• Should defects due to faulty material or workmanship develop, under normal domestic use, within 24 months
from the original date of purchase, please return the product to the store from where it was purchased for
repair free of charge.
• Casals will however replace a product, if the cost of the repair is not commercially viable or if their ability to
conduct repair effectively cannot be guaranteed.
• NB: The warranty on replaced products will be from the original date of purchase.
• All repairs carry a 3 month warranty even if this falls outside of the 2 year warranty period. Casals will attempt
to conduct repairs within reasonable industry standards but cannot be held responsible or liable for any cir-
cumstances not under their control.
Before returning your product, check for the following:
1. Your household mains supply socket is working and switched on.
2. The mains supply circuit is not overloaded (White trip switch on your DB board is off).
3. You have read the trouble shooting guide in your Instructions for Use.
4. All accessories and parts are present.
If service or repair becomes necessary outside the guarantee period, this service is still available however all
transport/postage, spares and labour costs will be paid by the consumer. All chargeable repairs will require the
consumers’ approval in writing once the quote is accepted. Once the go-ahead has been received Casals will
undertake to conduct the repair within a reasonable time and maintain the condition of the product as received.
