Washthe ceramiccookingbowlinwarmsoapywater.Carefully
wipe the exterior oftheappliancetoremoveanydustthatmay

abrasive cleaners.Removeanylabelorsticker.

OPERATIONGUIDE
Placetheinnerbowlintotheapplianceandconnecttothe
mainssupply.Addingredientsbefore turningon.
Forfirsttimeuse
Place8-10cupsofcoldwaterintotheceramicbowl.Select
highsettingandcookforapproximately20-30minutes.Turn
slowcookerswitchto‘OFF’position,disconnectfrom the
powersupplyandallowwater tocooldowncompletely.Discard
thiswater.Rinseceramicbowl,dryandreplacetheceramic
bowlinslowcooker.
Note.Thefirsttimeyouuseyourslowcooker,theremaybea
smallamountof smoke andsmell.This isnormal.Itisdue toa
protectivecoating,placedontheheatingelements,toprotect
the heatingelements duringshipping.
Selectionsettings.
LOW:For longer cookingtimes ataverylowtemperature.
HIGH: For shortercookingtimesatahighertemperature.
Foodwillcookinapproximately half thetimetakenfor ‘Low’
setting
AUTO: Forcookingautomaticallywithbothhighandlow
functions.The cookerwillcookonhighatfirstandthen
automatically switchtolowsettingafteraninitialperiod.
Warning! Slowcookerwilloperate until switchedoffeitherby
switchingthecontrolswitchtoOFFand/or removingfromthe
mainssupply.Thereis no“AutoOFF”controldevice inthis
appliance.Donotovercookfood.Monitorcooking.

Placefoodintoslowcookerceramicbowlandplaceintobase
andcover withthe lid.Selectdesiredcookingfunction.
Slowcookingwillcommence.Power onindictor willilluminate.
Whencookingiscompleted,switchoffanddisconnectfrom the
mainssupply,removeceramicbowlandserve.Youmayserve
straightfrom the ceramic bowl.
Warning! After cooking,place theceramicbowlonaheat
resistantsurface,asthebowlwill behot.Handlewithcare.
Useovengloveswhenhottoremovethebowl.
Warning! Donotsubjecttheceramicbowltosuddenchanges
of temperature,asit maycrack.Donotputcoldwaterintothe
bowlwhenitishot,orboilinghotwaterintothebowlwhenit
iscold.
Always cookwiththe lidon. Donotremove thelidoftenwhen
cooking,as thiswill prolongthecookingtime.
Donotoverfilltheceramicbowl.Boilingliquidsmayoverflow
andcausepersonalinjuryordamagetotheappliance or
cookingarea.
Alwaysplace vegetablesintoceramicbowlfirstwhencooking
withmeat,as thesewill takelongertocookthanthe meat.

withadollopofsourcream,choppedtomato, avocadoand
