III. INSTALL BATTERY
1) To remove Battery Cover, insert Opener Key into Cover Slot.
2) Turn battery cover counter clockwise as shown in figure 1
below and remove.
3) Insert battery “+” side up between bracket holders.
4) With battery in place, insert Battery Cover in the unlocked
position shown in figure 1, then turn clockwise to the locked
position as shown in figure 2.

IV. DOWNLOAD / INSTALL PERSONAL SAFETY APP
1) For Android (4.3+) device users -
i. tap on Google Play icon on phone
ii. search for “Cassia Personal Safety”
iii. tap on Install button, then Open when installed
2) For iOS (7.0+) device users (COMING SOON) -
i. tap on App Store icon on phone
ii. search for “Cassia Personal Safety”
iii. tap on Get button, then Open when installed
V. SETUP CASSIA PERSONAL SAFETY APP
1) Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in the Setting menu on
user’s smart phone
2) After launching the Cassia Personal Safety App, you must
accept the Subscriber Agreement before using App. Use of
App constitutes acceptance of the terms and use conditions
of the Personal Safety Sensor and App.
3) If you do not accept the terms of the Subscriber Agreement,

please cease using the product immediately.
4) Upon acceptance of Subscriber Agreement, proceed with the
onscreen instructions to setup user profile, enter emergency
contacts, and bind sensor to phone.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that Bluetooth is enabled in the
phones Settings menu in order to connect Sensor with phone.
VI. USE WITH CASSIA HUB
1) Please see Cassia Hub setup instructions to install the Hub.
No additional setup is required between Sensor & Hub.
2) If the Personal Safety Sensor is out-of-range of the user’s
phone, it will automatically attempt to communicate to Hub.
VII. ALERT DETECTED
1) When a Fall or Alert Button push is detected, the Alert LED on
the sensor will flash RED and then the phone will buzz or
make a sound indicating an alert has been detected.
2) The App will proceed to initiate an outbound call from your
cell phone to the first contact on your friends list as well as
send an SMS message to user’s contact list in App.
3) If the alert is a false alarm, user has 20 seconds to tap on
the Cancel Alarm button in App to cancel outbound call and
SMS message.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
1) The Personal Safety Sensor App must remain running in the
background -- Do not close App.
2) The sensor must remain within approx. 30 feet of user’s
phone to remain connected to phone.
3) The cell phone must operate with an active cellular service.
4) If the user’s phone is unavailable and the Personal Safety
Sensor connects with a Cassia Hub, only SMS messages will
be sent from Hub to Contacts. No voice call will be initiated.
5) The Personal Safety Sensor must have a battery installed
with sufficient power level. Note: If LED is flashing RED in
normal operation mode, please replace the battery.
6) Press and hold Alert button for at least 0.5 seconds to
trigger an alert.

III. INSTALLER LES PILES
1) Pour enlever le couvercle des piles, insérez la clé d’ouverture
dans l’encoche du couvercle.
2) Pivotez le couvercle des piles dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre comme le montre la figure 1 et
retirez-le.
3) Insérez les piles entre les fixations avec le “+” vers le haut..
4) Une fois les piles en place, replacez le couvercle des piles en
position déverrouillée comme le montre la figure 1, puis
pivotez dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre vers la
position verrouillée comme le montre la figure 2.

IV. TÉLÉCHARGER / INSTALLER L’APPLICATION DE
SÉCURITÉ PERSONNELLE
1) Pour les utilisateurs d’appareils Android (4.3+) -
i. touchez l’icône Google Play sur votre téléphone
ii. cherchez « Sécurité personnelle Cassia »
iii. touchez le bouton « Installer », puis ouvrir une fois installée
2) Pour les utilisateurs d’appareils iOS 7.0+ (ARRIVE BIENTOT) -
i. touchez l’icône App Store sur votre téléphone
ii. cherchez « Sécurité personnelle Cassia »
iii. touchez le bouton « Obtenir », puis ouvrir une fois installée
V. CONFIGURATION DE L’APPLICATION CASSIA
1) Assurez-vous que le Bluetooth est activé dans le menu
paramètres du smartphone de l’utilisateur
2) Après avoir lancé l’application de sécurité personnelle Cassia,
vous devez accepter les conditions d’utilisation avant
d’utiliser l’application. L’utilisation de l’application constitue
l’acceptation des termes et conditions d’utilisation du
capteur de sécurité personnelle et de l’application.
3) Si vous n’acceptez pas les termes des conditions d’utilisation,
veuillez cesser d’utiliser le produit immédiatement

4) Une fois acceptées les conditions d’utilisation, suivez les
instructions à l’écran pour configurer le profil de l’utilisateur,
renseigner les contacts d’urgence, et lier le capteur au phone.
IMPORTANT : Veuillez vous assurer que le Bluetooth est activé
dans le menu paramètres du téléphone pour pouvoir connecter
le capteur au téléphone.
VII. ALERTE DETECTÉE
1) Lorsqu’une chute est détectée ou que le bouton d’alerte
est pressé, la LED alerte sur le capteur va clignoter en rouge
et le téléphone va sonner ou émettre un son indiquant
qu’une alerte a été détectée.
2) L’application va envoyer un appel à partir de votre cellulaire
au premier contact sur votre liste d’amis ainsi qu’un SMS
à la liste de contacts de l’utilisateur de l’application.
VI. UTILISATION DE L”CASSIA HUB
1) S'il vous plaît voir Cassia Hub configuration instructions pour
installer le Hub. Aucune configuration supplémentaire est
nécessaire entre le capteur et Hub.
2) Si le capteur de sécurité personnelle est hors de portée du
téléphone de l'utilisateur, il tente automatiquement de
communiquer à Hub.

3) S’il s’agit d’une fausse alerte, l’utilisateur a 20 secondes pour
toucher le bouton Annuler alarme dans l’application pour
annuler l’appel sortant et les SMS.
RAPPELS IMPORTANTS
1) L’application capteur de sécurité personnelle doit
fonctionner en arrière-plan. Ne fermez pas l’application.
2) Le capteur doit rester à environ 10 mètres du cellulaire de
l’utilisateur pour rester connecté.
3) Le cellulaire doit fonctionner avec un réseau cellulaire actif.
4) Si le téléphone de l'utilisateur est indisponible et le capteur
de sécurité personnelle se connecte avec un Hub Cassia,
seuls les messages SMS seront envoyés à partir Hub. Aucun
appel vocal sera initié.
5) Le capteur de sécurité personnelle doit être muni d’une
pile ayant un niveau de puissance suffisant. Note : si la LED
clignote en ROUGE en mode de fonctionnement normal,
veuillez remplacer la pile avec une pile connue de bonne
qualité.
6) Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton d'alerte pendant
au moins 0,5 secondes pour déclencher une alerte.
