Foot Control Battery Installation/Replacement
• Turn foot control over install two new “AA” batteries. Do not depress foot control while
installing batteries.
• The communication light will blink for approximately two seconds to indicate the foot
control’s ability to communicate with the unit. If the light does not blink, check the
batteries. If the batteries are good and the light doesn’t blink, a communications error may
exist. Re-establish communication with Foot Control Synchronization procedure.
• Replace battery cover and screw and hand tighten with Philips screwdriver.
• Remove batteries if foot control is to be stored for an extended period of time.
Foot Control Synchronization
Perform the following steps to synchronize the foot control with the base unit.
1. Turn the Main Power switch located at the center front underside of the system to the
OFF (O) position.
2. Install a new set of “AA” batteries into the foot control. Leave the battery cover of the
foot control open so the red push button is accessible.
3. Maintain a distance of no more than 10 feet between the base unit and foot control
during the synchronization process.
4. Turn the Main Power switch to the ON (I) position and wait for the Information Center
graphics to light.
5. While all graphics are lit, press the Purge button, also located on the Information Center.
The graphics will begin to blink in a sequential pattern, representing the synchronization
mode. This mode will last 5 to 6 seconds.
6. During this mode, press the red button located in the battery compartment of the foot
control. This will complete the synchronization process.
7. Synchronization is successful when all graphics blink at the same time.
8. To verify proper communication, press the foot control to the Boost position
(foot control fully pressed – 2nd position) and ensure the Boost graphic on base unit lights.
9. Replace battery cover and screw.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Installation/remplacement des piles de la commande au pied
• Retournez la commande au pied installez deux nouvelles piles « AA » (LR6) conformément
à l’illustration. Lors de l’installation des piles, faites attention de ne pas appuyer sur la
commande au pied.
• Le témoin de communication devrait clignoter pendant environ deux secondes pour
confirmer que la commande au pied peut communiquer avec l’appareil de base. Si le témoin
ne clignote pas, vérifiez les piles. Si les piles sont bonnes et que le témoin ne clignote pas,
une erreur de communication est survenue. Rétablissez la communication en suivant la
procédure de synchronisation de la commande au pied.
• Replacez le couvercle du compartiment à piles et serrez la vis du couvercle avec un tournevis
à pointe cruciforme.
• Si vous prévoyez ranger la commande au pied pendant une longue période, retirez les piles.
Synchronisation de la commande au pied
Pour synchroniser la commande au pied avec l’appareil de base, exécutez les opérations suivantes.
1. Placez l’interrupteur principal situé sous le système (partie centrale avant) sur la position
OFF (0).
2. Installez un nouveau jeu de piles « AA » (LR6) dans la commande au pied. Laissez le
couvercle de la commande au pied ouvert, de façon à ce que le bouton poussoir rouge soit
accessible.
3. Durant le processus de synchronisation, maintenez une distance d’au moins 3 mètres entre
l’appareil de base et la commande au pied.
4. Placez l’interrupteur principal sur ON (I) et attendez que le tableau de diagnostic s’allume.
5. Lorsque tous les symboles sont allumés, appuyez sur le bouton de Purge situé sur le tableau
de diagnostic. Les symboles commencent à clignoter dans un ordre séquentiel, représentant

de façon à choisir la position d’augmentation de puissance (commande enfoncée jusqu’au
fond ou 2e position), puis assurez-vous que le symbole Boost s’allume sur l’appareil de base.
9. Réinstallez le couvercle du compartiment à piles et la vis du couvercle.

• Dé la vuelta al control de pie instale dos baterías nuevas “AA” como se muestra. No oprima
el control de pie mientras instala las baterías.
• La luz de comunicación centelleará durante aproximadamente dos segundos para indicar

las baterías. Si las baterías están bien y la luz no centellea, puede existir un error de
comunicaciones. Restablezca la comunicación con el procedimiento de sincronización del
control de pie.
• Coloque de nuevo la cubierta de las baterías, así como el tornillo y apriete manualmente
con el destornillador Phillips.
• Retire las baterías si se va a almacenar el control de pie durante un período prolongado.
Sincronización del control de pie
Lleve a cabo los siguientes pasos para sincronizar el control de pie con la unidad base.
1. Coloque el interruptor de Energía Eléctrica Principal localizado en frente en el centro en la
parte inferior del sistema en la posición de APAGADO (OFF) (O).
2. Instale un juego nuevo de baterías “AA” en el control de pie. Deje la cubierta de las baterías

patrón de secuencia, representando el modo de sincronización. Este modo durará de 5 a 6
segundos.
6. Durante este modo, oprima el botón rojo que se localiza en el compartimiento de las
baterías del control de pie. Esto terminará el proceso de sincronización.
7. La sincronización habrá funcionado cuando todas las gráficas centelleen al mismo tiempo.
8. Para verificar la comunicación adecuada, oprima el control de pie a la posición Refuerzo
(Boost) (control de pie oprimiendo totalmente la segunda posición) y asegúrese de que
encienda la gráfica de Refuerzo en la unidad de base.
9. Coloque de nuevo la cubierta de las baterías y el tornillo.

Einlegen / Austauschen der Batterien für Fußsteuerung
• Drehen sie bitte die Fußsteuerung um, installieren Sie, wie aufgezeigt, zwei neue „AA”
-Batterien. Drücken Sie die Fußsteuerung nicht herunter, während Sie die Batterien
einlegen.
• Die Leuchtanzeige blinkt für etwa zwei Sekunden auf, um anzuzeigen, dass die
Fußsteuerung in der Lage ist, mit dem Gerät zu kommunizieren. Falls das Licht nicht blinkt,
überprüfen Sie bitte die Batterien. Falls die Batterien geladen sind und das Licht trotzdem
nicht aufblinkt, könnte ein Verbindungsfehler vorliegen. Stellen Sie die Kommunikation
wieder her, indem Sie das beschriebene Synchronisierungsverfahren für die Fußsteuerung
durchführen.
• Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel mit der Schraube wieder auf und schrauben Sie ihn mit
einem Philips-Schraubenzieher fest.
• Entfernen Sie die Batterien, falls die Fußsteuerung für längere Zeit gelagert werden soll.
Synchronisierung der Fußsteuerung
Folgen Sie den folgenden Schritten, um die Fußsteuerung mit dem Basisgerät zu synchronisieren:
1. Schalten Sie den Netzschalter, der auf der Vorderseite in der Mitte des Geräts befindet, auf
OFF (O).
2. Legen Sie einen Satz frischer „AA” Batterien in die Fußsteuerung ein, aber schließen Sie
nicht den Batteriefachdeckel, so dass der rote Druckknopf zugänglich ist.

8. Um das Funktionieren der Verbindung zu überprüfen, drücken sie die Fußsteuerung in die
Boost-Position (Fußsteuerung bis zum Anschlag gedrückt – 2nd Position) und überprüfen

9. Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel und die Schraube wieder ein.

Sincronizzazione del pedale di controllo
Effettuare le seguenti operazioni per sincronizzare il pedale di controllo con l’unità di base.
1. Mettere l’interruttore principale situato al centro anteriore in basso del sistema nella
posizione OFF (O).
2. Installare batterie nuove tipo “AA” nel pedale di controllo. Lasciare la copertura delle
batterie del pedale di controllo aperta in modo che il pulsante rosso sia accessibile.
3. Mantenere una distanza di meno di 10 piedi (3 m) fra l’unità di base ed il pedale di
controllo durante il processo di sincronizzazione.
4. Accendere mettendo l’interruttore principale nella posizione ON (I) ed aspettare che lo
schermo diagnostico si accenda.
5. Mentre tutti i grafici sono accesi, premere il pulsante Purge (spurga), anche esso sullo
schermo diagnostico. I grafici cominceranno a lampeggiare in un modo sequenziale,
rappresentando il modo di sincronizzazione. Questo modo durerà 5 - 6 secondi.
6. Durante questo modo, premere il tasto rosso che si trova nello scompartimento di batteria
del pedale di controllo. Questo realizzerà il processo di sincronizzazione.
7. La sincronizzazione riesce quando tutti i grafici lampeggiano allo stesso tempo.
8. Per verificare che ci sia una buona comunicazione, premere il pedale di controllo fino alla
posizione di spinta (pedale di controllo completamente premuto - 2nda posizione) ed
accertarsi che il grafico di spinta sullo schermo della base si accenda.
9. Rimettere la copertura delle batterie e vitare.

Синхронизация педали управления
Для синхронизации педали управления с основным модулем выполните следующие
действия.
1. Переключите главный выключатель, расположенный на нижней стороне
системы в центре, в положение OFF (O) (ВЫКЛЮЧЕНО).
2. Установите в педаль управления свежий комплект батареек формата “AA”.
Оставьте крышку батарейного отсека открытой для доступа к красной кнопке.
3. В ходе процесса синхронизации сохраняйте расстояние от педали до основного
модуля, не превышающее 10 футов (3 м).
4. Переключите главный выключатель в положение ON (I) (ВКЛЮЧЕНО), и
подождите, пока на дисплее диагностики не появится изображение.
5. Пока на дисплее горят все графические изображения, нажмите кнопку Purge
(очистка), расположенную на дисплее диагностики. Графические изображения
начнут мигать в определенной последовательности, что указывает на режим
синхронизации. Этот режим будет действовать в течение 5-6 секунд.
6. Во время действия этого режима нажмите красную кнопку в батарейном отсеке
