2. Pack contents
One antenna Antea-M2 One green 4-pin plug-in connector
One wall bracket + 2 fixing screws and anchors An electronic format manual (QR CODE giving access to this
document)
3. Description
The Antea-M2 antenna is used to connect a Meteor2 box to the Internet and integrate it into a Vigipool ecosystem. This makes
it possible to control a Meteor2 remotely. The Antea-M2 control box is connected to the Meteor2 by a cable.
3.1. Compatible boxes
Only Meteor2 boxes manufactured from 2019 onwards are compatible with the Antea-M2: The software version, displayed
when the control box starts up, must be higher than ''v2.00''.
Antea-M2 is not compatible with Meteor-XC boxes.
4. Compatible with the Vigipool environment
The Antea-M2 is compatible with all the devices in the Vigipool environment. The Vigipool environment gathers together
many interconnected water treatment and maintenance appliances that can be controlled by a single application: Vigipool.
The appliances exchange the different measurement data and their actions with each other using a wireless proprietary connec-
tion between the appliances. Different appliances are available (electric filtration box, LED control, pH regulation, connected
pH / ORP analyser, remote touch display, etc.).
4.1. Bluetooth® and Wifi control
The Antea-M2 has an embedded Bluetooth® and Wifi transmitter used to control your device from a smartphone or tablet. To
be able to control the Antea-M2, you need an iOs (Apple®) or Android smartphone or tablet running Bluetooth® Low Energy
(v4.x) or Wifi 802.11 b/n/g. Other operating systems (Windows Phone®,...) or devices not running the above-mentioned pre-
requisites are not supported.
For a Wifi connection, the local Wifi details (SSID and password) need to be entered and a Vigipool account created to connect
your Antea-M2 to the Wifi router and control your Meteor2 using the local Wifi and remotely. (see attached specific ''Vigipool
World'' leaflet)
With Bluetooth, only one telephone / tablet can be connected to the control box at a time. To
connect from another device first disconnect the device which is already connected.
The software embedded in the appliance can be updated automatically. To do this, it must be
connected to WiFi or to another Vigipool appliance that is itself connected to WiFi. If you only
usetheappliancewithBluetooth,youcancreateanaccesspointfromyourphonetotemporarily
connect the appliance and update its software if necessary.
4.1.1. Bluetooth® pairing
On the first connection (using Bluetooth), after having selected your appliance from the list, to pair your smartphone with the
Antea-M2, approach the smartphone until it is in contact with the appliance, or press button (A) on it when the application
prompts you to do so and indicator (A) flashes blue quickly.

A: Multicoloured indicator and selection button
Pairing is only possible via the Vigipool app. Do not attempt pairing from the smartphone's
Bluetooth settings.
5. Installation
5.1. Wall mounted installation
For safety reasons and in compliance with the NF C15-100 standard, the Antea-M2 must be
installed
• either at over 3.50 m from the pool edge. This distance takes into account the distance around
obstacles. If the Antea-M2 is installed behind a wall, this will then be the distance required
to go around the wall and reach to the box..
• or in an in-ground space in the immediate vicinity of the swimming pool. In this case the
space must be accessible via a hatch which requires a tool to open it.
The Antea-M2
• can be installed outdoors, but it must be sheltered from rain, cleaning or watering spray, and UVs (sunlight).
•is spray resistant but must not be installed in a floodable area.
• must be placed on a level and stable support and fixed to the wall using the wall mount and the supplied anchors and screws:
Installing it outside the technical room can improve WiFi connectivity if the WiFi source is a
long way from it.
5.2. Connection to electricity
4

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Antea-M2 v1.0EN
Installation of this project involves a hazard of electric shocks. We strongly recommend you
contract a professional installer. Incorrect installation puts you in danger and may irreversibly
damage the product and the equipment connected to it.
Cut the electricity supply upstream of the Meteor2 box before opening it.
Depending on the Meteor2 model, the connection can be at 2 different connection locations (see below): Connect the green
connector to the Meteor2 box (using one or the other connectors shown below, whichever is available):
On the display board on the Meteor2 front face: On the LED strip terminal block, at the bottom left:
Antea-M2 has a supplied cable and connector that must be connected to the Meteor2. The cable has 4 wires which must be
connected to the green plug-in connector as follows:

6. Start up
6.1. Powering on
The system is switched on using the switch on the Meteor2.
On start up, the multicoloured indicator (A) on the front flashes while the device starts up.
6.2. Choice of the Vigipool ''central unit'' appliance
Please refer to the attached ''Vigipool World'' page for more information
At the end of the initialisation phase (Blue - White - Red sequence), the multicolour LED (A) flashes white. This corresponds to
the choice of the appliance that will perform the Vigipool ''central unit'' function (see attached specific ''Vigipool World'' page):
• If the installation only has this appliance, press the selection button (A). The appliance is then configured as a Vigipool
''central unit'' and other appliances can be added to the installation later.
• If the installation has several Vigipool World compatible appliances
– And if an appliance is already configured as a Vigipool ''central unit'', press the button on the Vigipool ''central unit'' if
it has been powered on for more than one minute. (If it has been powered on for less than a minute, there is no need
to press its button). Your Antea-M2 then connects to the Vigipool ''central unit'': It stops flashing white and switches to
normal operation.
– If no other appliance is already configured as a Vigipool ''central unit'', turn on all the appliances and press the button on
the appliance you want to use as a Vigipool ''central unit''. The other products will then connect to the appliance you have
validated as the Vigipool ''central unit'', they stop flashing white and switch to normal operation mode.
If you want to change the Vigipool ''central unit” appliance, the system must be reset (see ''Re-
setting to zero'')
6.3. iOs / Android applications
To download the Vigipool application click here or scan the QR CODE below. You can also search for Vigipool using the
App Store and Play Store search engines:
6.4. Adding new Vigipool devices
If the Antea-M2 is configured in Vigipool ''Centralunit '' mode and you want to add other Vigipool compatible equipment to
your installation, the Antea-M2 must accept new equipment. There are two possibilities to do that:
• During the first 5 minutes following power up, the Antea-M2 configured in ''Central unit'' mode will accept new equipment,
• Press button (A) on the Antea-M2.
When the Antea-M2 is ready to accept new equipment, multi-coloured indicator (A) flashes
green.
7. Operation
Meteor2 operation is detailed in its specific manual: Through the Vigipool application, the Antea-M2 can be used to configure:
