The CE-LINK s converter is designed to make your A/V equipment use more
comfortable, more productive and less expensive.Itconverts a digitalDVI signal
and toslink audio and digital audio input to an HDMI format allowing the viewing or
switchingofadigitalAVsignalonanHDMIsystem.
The DVI+Audio to HDMI Converter is an unique device that combines digital video
(DVI) and digital audio into HDMI to seamlessly integrate into the modern home

3.0 PACKAGE CONTENTS
Beforeattemptingtousethisunit,pleasecheckthepackagingandmakesurethe
followingitems arecontainedintheshippingcarton:
1) Main unit (different models have different P/N).
2) 5V DC Power Supply.
3) User sManual.
Note: Please retain the original packing material in the case of needing to
return the unit. If you find any items are missing, contact China Electronics
Technology Limited immediately. Please have the model number,serial
number and invoice available for reference when you call.

5.0 CONNECT AND OPERATE
Before installation, please make sure alldevices you wish toconnect have been

turnedoff.
1) Connect the AC adapter to the Converter spowerinput(Donotplugthe
adapter into an AC outlet yet).
2) Connect the appropriate cables to the source device and then the converter.
3) Connect the output cables to the Converter and then to the destination device.
4) Plug the Power Adapter into a working AC outlet.
5) Power on all input and output devices.
6)The DVI-HDCP input signal should now be available to all devices connected to
the device outputs.
Attention: Insert / Extract cable gently.

6.0 Non-HDCP Compliant Devices
If a DVI device does not appear to work, make certain that the device is HDCP
compliant. Anon-HDCPcompliantDVI devicewillnot work with a signalthat has
HDCP encoding present.
6.1 Cable Length
Ifyouneedtospanadistanceofgreaterthan3mtoreachtheconverter,purchase
CE-LINK sRepeaterwhichwillallowyoutoextendacablerunupto40musing
premium cable.
7.0 LIMITED WARRANTY
ShouldanyconsumerproductfromChina Electronics TechnologyLimited faildue
to defects in materials or workmanship within one year from the date of the
original sale to the end-user, China Electronics Technology Limited guarantees

that we will replace the defective product at no cost.Freight charges for the
replacement unit will be paid by the customers. A copy of the invoice showing the
ite m n u m ber a n d d at e o f p u rc h as e ( pr oo f- of -p u rc h as e ) m us t b e s u b mit t e d w it h t he
defective unit to constitute a valid in-warranty claim.
Units that fail after the warranty period has expired may be returned to the factory
for repair at a nominal charge, if not damaged beyond the point of repair. All
freight charges for out-of-warranty returns for repair are the responsibility of the
customer.Units returned for repair must have a Return Authorization Number
assigned by the factory.
This is a limited warranty and is not applicable for products which,in our opinion,
have been damaged, altered, abused, misused, or improperly installed. China
Electronics Technology Limited makes no other warranties either expressed or
implied, including limitation warranties as to merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose. Additionally, there are no allowances or credits available for
serviceworkorinstallationperformedinthefieldbytheenduser.
