CEBEK ES-5 User manual

The ES-5 module is a head phone stereo power stage, with a maximum power by channel of 75W. It could connected
to the mixer output or to the auxiliary input of a sound device.
It is supplied by a voltage from 3 up to 6 VDC and the recommended power supply is the FE-1 module or 2 x 1,5 V
batteries. It has a protection against polarity inversion.
Because all the information indicated in this manual instruction, you had to read it.
OPERATING.
WIRING MAP.
POWER SUPPLY. The ES-5 module had to be supplied with a voltage from 3 up to 6 VDC. Then, we recommend you 2
x 1,5 VDC batteries or our FE-1 module which has been specially design for this circuit needs. Connect the positive
terminal of the Power Supply to the positive pin indicated in the drawing. Then, do the same operation with the
negative terminal. Verify that the assembly has been well done.
OPERATING. To connect input signals, you have to use shielded cable and parallel cable for loudspeakers. For the input
and output audio connections, the power supply had to be disconnect.
Be careful to not confuse the input and the output audio to not damage the module.
Connect the right and left audio inputs according to the drawing. Connect both ground to the central terminal. Do the
same operation with right and left audio outputs and their ground.

All audio circuits could be perturbed by parasites, and one of the main parasites supplier is the power supply. To avoid
it, you have to use 2 x 1,5 VDC batteries or FE-1 Power supply well filtered and stabilised. Then, use a low frequency
shielded cable. Connect wire as indicated in the drawing. Use a metallic enclosure for the installation and connect the
ground of the circuit to the box.
