3. INSTALLATION
Connection of the water outlet (with optional drain hose)
In appliances with a heat pump unit, water accumulates in the water tank during the

periodically emptying the water tank, you can also use the water drain hose supplied with the
product to drain the water directly from the exterior.
Drain hose connection
Fig. 2
1. Remove the end of the hose located in the rear of the dryer. Do not use any tool to remove
the hose.
2. Place an end of the drain hose, provided with the product, in the hole from which you
removed the hose.
3. Adjust the other end of the hose directly to the water supply or sink.
ATTENTION: You must place the hose so it cannot move. If the hose slips out during the
water draining, your house could be ooded.
IMPORTANT: The drain hose must have a maximum length of 80 cm.
IMPORTANT: The drain hose between the water supply and the product must not be
twisted, bent or crushed.
Adjusting the feet
For the dryer to operate with as little noise and vibration as possible, it must be stable and
balanced on its feet. Adjust the feet to make sure the product is balanced.
Turn the feet to the right and left until the dryer is level and stable.
IMPORTANT: Never remove the adjustable feet.
Electric connection
ATTENTION: There is a risk of re and electric shock.
- The current of the dryer is set to 220-240 V and 50 Hz.
- The power cord of the dryer is equipped with a special plug. This plug must be connected
to a grounded outlet protected by a 16 ampere fuse, as indicated on the type label. The
current rating of the power line where the socket is connected must also be 16 amperes.
Seek the advice of a qualied electrician if you do not have such a socket or fuse.
- Cecotec is not responsible for any damage caused by ungrounded use.
IMPORTANT: Operating your machine at low voltage values shortens the lifetime of the
machine and reduces its performance.
- Always use the plug provided with the dryer.
- Do not modify the plug provided with the device if it does not match the power socket.
Installation under a worktop
- Leave at least 3 cm of space between the side and rear panels of the product and above

4. LAUNDRY PREPARATION
Classication of garments for drying
- Follow the drying instructions on the garment labels. Insert only items that have the
symbol indicating that they can be dried in the dryer.
- Do not operate the product with a load quantity or type of garment other than those

- Garments may roll up during the washing process.
- Separate them before introducing them in the dryer.
- Remove all items from the laundry pockets and consider the following:
- Tie belts, apron strings, etc. or use a laundry bag.
- Close the zips, buckles and fasteners and fasten the buttons on the covers.
- For better drying, sort the laundry according to the fabric and drying programme.
- Remove fasteners and metal parts from garments.
- Woven products such as T-shirts or knitted garments normally shrink during the rst

- Do not overdry synthetics. This will cause creases.
- When washing laundry to be dried later, adjust the amount of fabric softener according to
the washing machine manufacturer information.
- For an ecient use to save energy and money, it is recommended to drain the laundry in
