Unsere Modelle sind kein Spielzeug im üblichen Sinn und dürfen nicht von Kindern

Der Aufbau und Betrieb des Modellgleitschirms erfordert handwerkliche Sorgfalt. Wir
weisen ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass durch fehlerhaften bzw. nachlässigen Zusam-
menbau und Betrieb des Modells Sach- und Personenschäden auftreten können.
Wir als Hersteller haben keinen Einfluss auf sachgerechten Zusammenbau, Betrieb,
Wartung und Pflege des Modells und sind daher gesetzlich verpflichtet, ausdrücklich
auf diese Gefahren hinzuweisen.
Zusätzlich möchten wir weitere Hinweise im Zusammenhang mit dem Aufbau und
Betrieb des Modells geben:
Vorsicht beim Einschalten des Flugmodells! Der Rumpf, Drachen- oder Gleitschirmpi-
lot sollte mit sicherem Griff gehalten, oder auf einer ebenen Fläche abgelegt werden.
Der Propellerkreis muss frei bleiben! Darauf achten, dass weder Körperteile noch
Leinen in den Propellerkreis geraten können.
Alle Kabel im Rumpf/Piloten und Gurtzeug sollten in der Länge angepasst oder
zusammengebunden werden, damit sie nicht stören.
Die Akkus sollten immer mit einem verpolsicheren Steckersystem ausgestattet
werden. Kurzschlüsse sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Bei Auswahl des Piloten und der Komponenten ist darauf zu achten, dass das Flug-
gewicht innerhalb der für den jeweiligen Gleitschirm angegebenen Grenzen bleibt.

… und noch ein paar Tipps aus der Modellflugschule…
Suche dir geeignetes Fluggelände aus! Auch für Outdoorsportgeräte wie unsere Gleit-
schirme ist ein zugelassener Modellflugplatz die passendste Umgebung.
Achte auf Wetter- bzw. Windbedingungen! Flugmodelle, insbesondere Gleitschirme
sind anfällig für Böen und bei entsprechendem Wetter anspruchsvoll zu fliegen. Bei
Regen und Gewitter hat das Modell in der Luft nichts zu suchen. Halte genügend
Abstand von Personen, Tieren oder Gegenständen! Ein Steuerfehler sowie der Ausfall
der Fernsteuerung können jedem Piloten passieren. Die Betriebsgrenzen sind zu
beachten! Kontrolliere in regelmäßigen Abständen Modell sowie Elektronik. Achte
auch auf ausreichende Kühlung von Regler, Akku und Motor.
Vergiss nicht den Abschluss einer Haftpflichtversicherung für Modellfluggeräte.
Diese ist in Deutschland nach § 102 der Luftverkehrs-Zulassungsordnung für Flug-
modelle aller Art verpflichtend. Die „normale“ Privathaftpflichtversicherung reicht in
der Regel nicht aus. Hier helfen Modellflugvereine bzw. Modellflugverbände wie z.B.
der DMFV weiter.

The assembly and operation of the model paraglider requires careful craftsmanship.
We expressly point out that incorrect or negligent assembly and operation of the
model can result in damage to property and personal injury. As the manufacturer, we
have no influence on the proper assembly, operation, maintenance and care of the
model and are therefore legally obliged to expressly point out these dangers.
In addition, we would like to give further advice in relation to the assembly and opera-
tion of the model aircraft:
Take care when switching on the model aircraft! The fuselage, hang glider or para-
glider pilot should be held with a secure grip, or placed on a flat surface. The propeller
area must remain clear! Make sure that neither body parts nor lines can get caught by
the propeller.
All cables in the fuselage/pilot and harness should be adjusted in length or tied toge-
ther so that they do not interfere.
The batteries should always be fitted with a plug system protected against polarity
reversal. Short circuits must be avoided under all circumstances.
When selecting the pilot and components, ensure that the flying weight remains within
the limits specified for the particular paraglider.

Choose a suitable flying site! Even for outdoor sports equipment such as our para-
gliders, an approved model flying site is the most suitable environment.
Pay attention to the weather and wind conditions! Model aircraft, especially paragli-
ders, are susceptible to gusts and are challenging to fly in appropriate weather. In rain
and thunderstorms, the model must not be airborne. Keep a sufficient distance from
people, animals or objects! A control error as well as a failure of the remote control
can happen to any pilot. The operating limits must be observed! Check the model and
electronics at regular intervals. Make sure that the controller, battery and motor are
sufficiently cooled.
Don‘t forget to obtain liability insurance for model aircraft. In Germany, this is manda-
tory for all types of model aircraft according to § 102 of the Air Traffic Licensing
Regulations. The „normal“ private liability insurance is usually not sufficient. Model
flying clubs or model flying associations such as the DMFV can help here.

Zudem geben wir dir einige allgemeine Hinweise für den Umgang mit unseren Gleit-
schirmen sowie Basiseinstellwerte, damit du schnell und erfolgreich in die Luft
kommst.
WICHTIG:
Demontiere für alle Einstellarbeiten den Propeller, oder verhindere anderweitig, dass
der Motor anlaufen kann (beispielsweise durch Entfernen einer Phase der Motorka-
bel). Die Unterlassung dieser Maßnahme kann zu schweren Verletzungen und Sach-
schäden führen!
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
CEFICS Modelle dürfen ausschließlich im Hobbybereich mit dem von CEFICS empfoh-
lenen Zubehör verwendet werden. Die von uns empfohlenen Komponenten sind best-
möglich auf unsere Produkte abgestimmt und bieten ein Höchstmaß an Flugleistung
und Effizienz. Bei Abweichungen von diesen Empfehlungen kann es zu signifikanten
Einbußen in sowohl Flugleistungen als auch Sicherheit kommen. Wir als Hersteller
haben abgesehen von unseren Empfehlungen und dieser Betriebsanleitung keinen

With this model you have chosen a high-quality piece of sports equipment which, if
handled correctly, can give you many unforgettable flights.
The assembly instructions are divided into 3 sections:

In addition, we give you some general tips for handling our paragliders as well as basic
adjustment values, so that you can get into the air quickly and successfully.
IMPORTANT:
For all adjustment work, disassemble the propeller, or otherwise prevent the motor
from starting (for example, by removing one phase of the motor cables). Failure to do
so may result in serious injury and property damage!
Intended use
CEFICS models may only be used for hobby purposes with the accessories recommen-
ded by CEFICS. The components recommended by us are matched to our products
in the best possible way and offer maximum flight performance and efficiency.
Deviations from these recommendations may result in significant degradation in both
flight performance and safety. Apart from our recommendations and these operating
instructions, we as the manufacturer have no influence on how you equip, assemble
or operate your model.

Introduction
Vorwort
The assembly of our models is basically
very simple. Nevertheless, it is advisable
to follow the order of the building steps,
because otherwise the assembly can be
unnecessarily complicated.
The joining of the fiberglass parts is
partly done by screwed mortises and
tenons. To do this, M3 stop nuts are
placed in the cut-out provided in the
material, the parts are joined and then
screwed together. Fig. 1 The precisely
fitting cut-out ensures that the nut does
not rotate. Fig. 2
The instructions avoid showing cables
where this is not necessary in order to
keep the drawings as clear as possible.
In addition, basic knowledge of how to
use tools such as screwdrivers, solde-
ring irons, etc. is required.
The Pro Ultralight System offers a wide
range of options and set-up possibilities.
This manual only covers the standard
set-up.
Der Aufbau unserer Modelle ist grund-
sätzlich sehr einfach. Dennoch ist es
ratsam, sich an die Reihenfolge der
Bauschritte zu halten, weil der Aufbau
ansonsten unnötig erschwert werden
kann.
Die Verbindung der GFK Teile geschieht
teilweise über geschraubte Verzapfun-
gen. Hierzu werden M3 Stoppmuttern in
die dafür vorgesehene Aussparung im
Material gesetzt, die Teile zusammen-
gefügt und anschließend verschraubt.

Die Anleitung verzichtet weitgehend auf
die Darstellung von Kabeln, wo dies nicht
nötig ist, um die Zeichnungen so über-
sichtlich, wie möglich zu halten. Zudem
werden Grundkenntnisse im Umgang
mit Werkzeugen wie Schraubendreher,
Lötkolben u.Ä. vorausgesetzt.
Das Pro Ultralight System bietet eine
Vielzahl an Optionen und Aufbaumög-
lichkeiten. Diese Anleitung geht nur auf
den Standardaufbau ein.

M3x20 screws. Fig. 5 Note that 2 nuts
are screwed onto each screw. This will
later ensure the necessary distance to
the motor mounting.
The M3x16 screws for the support rod
are screwed into the upper side.

Aufnahme der Tragestange geschraubt.

det. Die Position der Schrauben stellt
den Schwerpunkt ein.
Bei motorisiertem Aufbau ist wie im Bild
gezeigt, die hinterste mögliche Position
am sinnvollsten.

Servokabel werden durch die Öffnung in
der Sitzfläche nach vorne herausgeführt.

Bei Verwendung der Standard-Gleit-
schirmaufhängung werden die Karabiner
mit jeweils einer Schraube M3x8 direkt
an den Bügel geschraubt. Es empfiehlt
sich hier dringend der Einsatz von
Schraubensicherung!
Die Aufhängung selbst wird dann so
montiert, dass die Verschlüsse der
Karabiner nach vorne zeigen.

of threadlocker is strongly recommen-

Bei der Montage der Gleitschirmauf-
hängung solltest du sicherstellen, dass
diese wirklich fest sitzt. Eine wackelnde
Aufhängung kann die Flugeigenschaften
negativ beeinflussen.
Alternativ zur Standardaufhängung
kannst du auch die Tuning Gleitschirm-
aufhängung einsetzen. Diese wird so
montiert, dass die Haken außen nach
vorne zeigen.

When mounting the paraglider hang
bar, make sure that it is firmly attached
to the harness. A wobbly suspension
can have a negative effect on the flight
characteristics.
As an alternative to the standard hanger,
you can also use the Tuning paraglider
hang bar. This one is installed in such a
way that the hooks point forwards on the
outside.

The ESC is placed in the side pocket in
such a way that the battery connection
cables point downwards and the motor
connection cables point upwards.
The power and BEC connection cables
are fed through the lower opening (A)
to the inside of the harness and the BEC
connection cables are fed through the
same opening as the servo connectors
back out through the seat.
(See picture 11)
On the Pro Ultralight XL, the motor
connection cables can be fixed in place
using the two holes in the harness.
Simply feed them in through the front
hole and out through the rear hole. (B)
We recommend XT90 on the battery side
and MT60 connectors on the motor side.
This completes the assembly of the
seat.

Der Drehzahlsteller findet in der Weise
seinen Platz in der seitlichen Tasche,
dass die Akkuanschlusskabel nach
unten und die Motoranschlusskabel
nach oben zeigen.
Die Akku- und BEC-Anschlusskabel
werden durch die untere Öffnung ins
Innere des Gurtzeugs (A) geführt und die
BEC-Anschlusskabel durch die gleiche
Öffnung, wie die Servostecker wieder
durch die Sitzfläche nach außen.
(Siehe Bild 11)
Die Motoranschlusskabel können beim
Pro Ultralight XL mit Hilfe der beiden
Löcher im Gurtzeug fixiert werden. Führe
diese einfach durch das vordere Loch
hinein und durch das hintere wieder
hinaus. (B)
Wir empfehlen als Stecksystem Akku-
seitig XT90 und Motorseitig MT60.
Damit ist der Aufbau des Sitzes abge-
schlossen.
