Steps to install Photo Manager

1.Introduction
VistaPix is a binocular integrated with a digital camera that is great
for sporting events, concerts and wildlife activities such as huntingor
bird-watching. VistaPix lets you record memories and sights at the
touch of abutton. Use the full-featured binocular for closer views and
capture images to take home with you at the same time.
VistaPix makesit possibleto share your fun with others by
downloading images from the camera right to your computer
to e-mail to your friends and family.
Battery installation manner
1. Hold tight the bottom of battery cover, and lift to open.
2. Install four AAA batteries into the battery compartment as shown below.

Looking at or near the sun will cause instant and irreversible damage
to your eye. Eye damage is often painless, so there is no warning to
the observer that damage has occurred until it is too late. Do not
point the binocular at or near the sun.
Children should always have adult supervision while observing.

automatically turn offafter 90 seconds.
2-2. The VistaPix has abattery level displayin the rightlower corner of
the LCD. Whenthe battery islow you willhear a long"beep". If no
action is taken, VistaPix willautomatically turn-off after10 seconds.
2-3. Please usealkaline battery forthis product.
2-4. VistaPix comeswith a SDcard slot thatenables you toexpand the
memory. Toinstall an optionalSD card:
Open the coverof the SDcard slot andinstall the card(with the
gold strips facingup) into theSD card slot(7) until itclicks into the
position.

Memory & Image Download
Download images
When downloading thephotos, the internalmemory and thecard memory
must be downloadedseparately.
Download from flashmemory
Takeout the SDcard (if necessary)and connect theto the computer,
then follow thedownloading steps andall the photosin the flash
memory can bedownloaded.
Download from OptionalSD card
Insert the SDcard and connectthe to thecomputer, thenfollow the
downloading steps andall the photosin the SDcard memory canbe
downloaded.
Using SD memorycard
The VistaPix hasbuilt in flashmemory, sowhen you takeimages, the
images will besaved into theflash memory insideyour VistaPix until
memory is full.
Whenever you insertan optional SDmemory card totake images, the
taken with theSD card andflash memory arestored separately.
So when downloading theimages, the internalflash memory andthe
memory must bedownloaded separately.

Care of yourVistaPix
7 -1.Never immerseVistaPix into anyfluid or liquid.Remove dust orstains
with a softcloth dampened withwater or neutraldetergent. Keep ina dry
and cool dust-freeenvironment when notin use.
7 -2.Take the batteriesout when VistaPixis not tobe used overa long
period.

4.Using the Camera
Use this productunder good lightingconditions, avoid facinglight source
directly. Rememberto keep adistance of atleast 49 feet(15 meters) away
from the targetwhen taking aphoto. Asyou press the"Shutter/Set" button,
hold the binocularvery steady untilyou hear a"Beep" sound. Ifthe binocular
is unsteady,the camera willnot focus welland blurred imageswill result.

Since VistaPix is a Mass Storage Deviceyou can access captured images just as
if it were a hard drive, therefore nosoftware driver is needed (See Mass Storage
Mode ).If using VistaPix with an olderversion of Windows 98SE it may be
necessary to install the software Driver.

Press the deletebutton while thethumbnail menu orfull-screen image
is displayed. Select"Erase one" andpress OK Button to erase asingle

and press OKbutton to changethe image resolution. Indicates 0.3MP,
indicates 2.0MP, and indicates3.0MP on theLCD screen.
Exposure Value
Select "Exposure value"and press theOK button. Thisallows you tochange
the exposure settingsuggested by thecamera. Press theUp or Downbutton
to select avalue between -1.5and 1.5 andpress OK button to accept the
exposure value. Negativeexposure values tendto underexpose (darken)your
object while positivevalues will overexpose(brighten) the object.
Setup the Date
Select "Date /Time" andpress the OKbutton to setthe internal clock.Edit
the correct date(y/m/d) and time(h/m/s) by pressingthe Up-down button.
Press the OKbutton again tocomplete the setting.

5.How to use the binocular
Focusing theBinocular
Adjusting the eyepieces
The distance between your eyes is called interpupillary distance.
The interpupillary distance is different from oneperson to another.
It is important to adjust your interpupillary distancebefore using the VistaPix:
- Hold VistaPix firmly in the normalviewing position.
- Adjust the barrels bypushing together or pulling apart until you see a single
circular image with both of your eyes.
Toadjust the eye-relieffor eyeglass wearers:Fold down therubber eyecups
and place themagainst your glassesto get thebest viewing result.
A. Set the Diopter Knob on undersideof VistaPix to its center pointbetween
- and + .
B. Choose an object that is atleast 15 meters (49 ft) away.
C. Looking with just your left eye, rotatethe Center Focus Knob(2) until the object
you are viewing is in best focus.
D. Looking with just your right eye,rotate the Diopter Knob(1) until the objectyou
are viewing is in best focus.
E. Viewing your object with both eyes,turn the Center Focus Knob to bringit in
best focus.
