4.3 Using the G-Click: Freeze & Manual Calibrate
Whilst the device is indicang Freeze (two yellow leds) posion the Gyro to
suit the user, once in posion press the reset buon once. This will release
the Freeze state & the G-Click will immediately calibrate itself to its current
posion ( 3 seconds - all leds red). The bleep, if enabled will sound four
mes when entering calibraon and one longer bleep when calibraon has
successfully completed. During the calibraon period the device should be
held steady.
The device is now running.
Freeze can be applied again by a single buon press and a recalibraon by
pressing twice. This is useful if the device was not steady during the previ-
ous calibraon.
4.2 Posion Alarms
In normal running alarms paerns below may be ashed on the LED dis-
play, if this is only occasionally there is nothing to worry about however
if frequent then acon may be required. The G-Click will self adjust & an
alarm may stay on for several seconds unl this adjustment has complet-
ed. The performance of the G-Click will be reduced whilst alarming.
4.2.1 Excessive movement detected in the trigger direcon
The user is managing to lt the gyro detector further than necessary to
cause a valid trigger. The Sensivity knob should be reduced (an
clockwise) to prevent mulple triggers.
4.2.2 Excessive backward movement detected
The gyro detector is moving backward from the direcon expected.
This may be due to an inadvertent movement by the user or carer .
A manual recalibraon (see 4.3) may be faster than waing.
4.2.3 Extreme movement detected—Auto Calibrang
The G-Click gyro has moved above the threshold that requires a minor
adjustment and a full auto recalibraon has been acvated.
There will be four bleeps and the gyro should be held sll unl this
calibraon has been completed signalled by one long bleep.
