__________Guide to Replacing the RFI Filter
Kit for U5000 & U6000AT+

Tools Needed: Part to be Replaced
1) Needle Nose Pliers SP5142B
2) #2 Phillips Screwdriver
3) 11/32 Nutdriver RFI Filter Kit
1) Turn off the unit, disconnect power and remove the drain tubing.
2) Turn the unit over and remove the (12) screws from the bottom cover. Fig. 1

3) Unplug the fan and set the cover aside. Fig.2

4) Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver remove the (2) screws that hold the Wago wire
interface block and its bracket to the (2) standoffs on each side of the RFI Filter.
Move the wago interface block out of the way. Fig.3

5) Using a pair of needle nose pliers, remove all (5) wire terminal connections. Fig.4
(Note: Be sure to note the orientation of the black, white, and ground
wires.)

6) Follow the green wire with the yellow stripe to the center stud in the chassis. Use an
11/32-nut driver remove the nut and ground wire. Fig.5

7) Using a ¼” nut driver remove the (2) standoffs that secure the RFI filter to the studs
in the chassis. Then remove the RFI Filter. Fig. 6

8) Install the new RFI filter over the studs and replace the standoffs removed from step 7
and position the wago mounting plate as it was before.
9) Re-install the (2) screws removed from step 4 that attach the Wago to the standoffs.
10)Re-install all (5) wire terminal connections that were removed from step 5.
11)Re-install the ground wire and the nut to stud and tighten.
12)Re-connect the fan wiring.
13)Replace the bottom cover and (12) screws removed from step 2.
