Fact Sheet
Astronaut Series
An audio system for the classroom containing
superior features and better acoustics for learning.
Powerful Audiophile®electronics provide 1,500 ft2(140 m2) of coverage
Simple connections below the ceiling
Easy low-cost installation and removal
Built-in mixer with 3 connections for projectors, computers,
and microphones
Classroom Learning Above©
Find out what school districts are learning all over the country: There is
now an audio system designed to improve learning in the classroom.
“Just hearing speech is not enough! Understanding
speech is the core of learning.”
Anything less slows down the pace of student learning. The Astronaut
improves student ability to understand live and recorded voice in the
classroom. It is a difference we call Classroom Learning Above©.
Technical Design
In addition to solving the word recognition problems inherent in today’s
classrooms, the Astronaut reproduces more speech frequencies than
projector sound systems, in-ceiling, or in-room speakers. Since students
hear and learn differently, improving their ability to understand and
comprehend allows more time to focus on lesson content.
“A technical marvel that works so well it is patented in
over 40 countries!”
Just look at some of these features: custom digital electronics, custom
Audiophile 40 watt transducer, custom omnidirectional horn cabinet
design, custom tuned circular port, and custom designed built-in mixer
that accepts up to three mono- or stereo inputs.

Ceiling Installation
Our multi-coupling bracket system is an industry first. The Astronaut
mounts to the surface of the ceiling and all connections are inside the
room potentially eliminating wiring above it. Once the bracket is in place
the speaker can be installed or removed without tools, including its security
feature. Installation and removal are greatly simplified.
Save Green with Green
The Astronaut is a thoroughly thought out sound system
for classroom installations. It not only meets the low cost
acquisition needs of the budget conscious user, it also has
the lowest cost of long-term ownership. Our marvelous
patented technology uses 75% less energy than other
sound systems with the same performance without
sacrificing loudness. In addition, the Astronaut meets the
new, and very stringent, California Energy Conservation
standards. Now that is what we call Lite-Energy™!
