1. CF150-3A motorcycle overview
CF150-3A is a motorcycle of unique style with compact structure for comfortable and stable riding. This
model is equipped with the latest CFMOTO liquid-cooled engine and electronic fuel injection system.
Therefore, it’s more environment- friendly, low fuel consumption and low exhaust emission. It meets the
CNS IV emission standard.
1.1 Applicable scope
CF150-3A motorcycle is a self-development product by CFMOTO. This motorcycle is designed not only
for commuting, but also for travel and leisure. CF150-3A is not only suitable for urban roads but also for
rural roads.
1.2 Characteristics
1.2.1. Strong power and big load capacity
The engine model of this vehicle: 157MJ-3 with high power.
Maximum net power： 8.8kW(8500r/min)
1.2.2. High torque and strong grade ability
Maximum torque：10.7N·m(7000 r/min)
1.2.3. CFMOTO unique electronic fuel injection system synchronized with Europe and United
States.
Environment friendly, low consumption, low emission, more efficient combustion and optimized
combustion structure, fully meets the CNS Ⅲ emission standard.

1.2.4. Top liquid-cooled technology.
CFMOTO, a company which is specialized in production of liquid-cooled engine, is the top-level
manufacturer in China. Compared to same displacement of air-cooled engine, engine cooling effect is
better, oil temperature can be adjusted more freely, more powerful and lower fuel consumption, longer
engine service life.
1.2.5. DC power supply system
Higher charging efficiency. Brighter lighting results in a good sight when riding at night.

2 User Instruction
2.1. Loading specification：
CF150-3A two - wheel motorcycle is permitted to carry two people (including one driver and one
passenger). Maximum Load Capacity: Max 150kg.
2.2. Fuel
Fuel type: 93# gasoline.
Since gasoline is extremely flammable, if the fuel tank, fuel filter, fuel line, throttle body and other parts
of the vehicle cause fuel leakage due to damage and aging, the users should not use the vehicle before
repair and troubleshooting.
2.3 Electrical system
Users are forbidden to change vehicle’s circuit and to refit electric equipments. Otherwise, vehicle's
electric system could be overloaded, resulting in vehicle burning due to overheated wiring, blown fuse,
short circuit and even sparks.
CFMOTO will not be responsible for any consequences caused by modification or retrofit of the wiring,
installation of higher power or even additional electric equipments by users.
2.4 Inspection
The user should strictly maintain the spare parts listed in periodic maintenance chart -7-

3 Transportation, Storage and Unpacking
(1). The motorcycle (with package) should be fixed firmly on the transport vehicle and without scratches
and damaging during transport.
(2). The motorcycle (with package) should be stored in a clean, ventilated, dry, sun and rain-proof
warehouse , while it shouldn’t be stored with flammable materials, chemical corrosive substances and
other harmful items .
(3). The motorcycle is completely assembled at the dealership and delivered to the user after inspection
and tuning.
Assembly sequence is as follows：
·①Unpack the carton and take out all accessories.
·②Install the handlebar, balance weights, clutch lever and brake lever .
·③Remove the front axle, take the rear wheel out of the crate and support the vehicle with the side
stand or main stand (optional), install front wheel and front fender. Remove the front seat, install the
battery, install front and rear seat, install other accessories (rearview mirrors, etc), fasten all the nuts
and bolts of the whole vehicle and inspect the wiring before starting the motorcycle.
④Adjust signal lights, front and rear brakes, clutch, throttle and so on, then test ride the motorcycle. If
it is normal, hand it over to users and the assembly is completed.
Transportation, storage and assembly of motorcycle are only for reference of the dealers.

4 Safe Riding
The motorcycle is two- wheel motor-driven vehicle, which can bring convenience and rapidness to the
driver. To ensure the best performance of the motorcycle, maintain and service the vehicle properly. The
vehicle must be in safe and normal conditions. The driver should be healthy when riding the motorcycle to
ensure that the motorcycle can be controlled in the best state.
NOTE: Ensure to observe traffic regulations when riding a motorcycle. Check
the motorcycle carefully before every ride.
To prevent accidents and parts damage, inspect the vehicle carefully in order to ensure the vehicle is

5. Use care when driving in corners, crossroads, the entrance and exit of parking lot, highway or other
roads with obstacles in front.
6. Keep hands on the handlebar and both feet on the left and right front foot rests when riding. The
passenger should hold the hand grip or wrap driver’s waist and keep both feet on the left and right
rear foot rests.
7.The driver should observe the road traffic conditions through left and right rearview mirrors besides
looking front, left and right sides.
4.2 Protective riding gear
1. Most death accidents in motorcycle are caused by head injury. For your safety, always wear high
quality helmet, goggles, gloves and other protective gear when riding. Passengers should also wear
riding gear.
2. Never wear loose clothing or clothing with lace which could be pinched by control levers, foot rests
or wheels. The improper clothing may be blown by the wind and hooked by other vehicles, resulting in
accidents. Always keep in mind that high quality protective riding gear is only a protection. Never ignore
traffic safety regulations. Excellent motorcyclists always ride motorcycle carefully.

4.3 Modification
WARNING
NOTE：
1、Modification or retrofit of your motorcycle could not ensure your safety or it’s even
illegal. Users must comply with the vehicle's regulations issued by traffic management
department.
2. To ensure that the emission of the vehicle meets National Phase 3 Standards, the user
should not retrofit or disassemble the following parts without authorization. Otherwise,
the company will not be responsible for resultant consequences.
·① Do not adjust idle screw；
·②This vehicle muffler is fitted with catalyst. If the muffler is damaged, please go to CFMOTO
service station for repair or replacement. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself or purchase
products from other manufacturers.
·③The canister is a cwpart of the evaporative emission control system. Do not remove it by
yourself.
3. If the owners have any good suggestions of vehicle modification, communicate with
the company. The company will carry out the implementation after confirmation. Any
changes to the vehicle without authorization may lead to adverse consequences. If you
don’t obey this advice, it is your responsibility for all the consequences.
1. The user can not add or modify the vehicle wiring or other electrical equipments. It may
cause the electrical system to be overloaded, resulting in blown fuse or short circuit. What’s
worse, sparks could be generated and vehicle burning or other risks might happen.

consumer electrical power）

4.4 Loading
NOTE: The distribution of goods weight is specified. Improper loading may affect the
vehicle performance and cause riding instability.
4.5 Accessories
When loading the goods：
1. The center (center of gravity) of the goods should be low and near to the center of the vehicle.
2. Adjust the tire pressure (see page 22) according to the load and riding conditions.
3. All the goods must be firmly fixed on the vehicle to ensure handling stability.
4. Do not attach large, heavy objects to handlebar, front shock or the front fender, otherwise the riding
stability or steering would be adversely affected.
5. Never exceed the maximum load specification of the vehicle (150kg).
All accessories of our company are specially designed and manufactured. They have been
tested with the motorcycle. Since it’s impossible for our company to test the products from other
manufacturers, CFMOTO will not be responsible for any consequences caused by the installation
of the accessories from other manufacturers.
Users should inspect the accessories for sight obstruction, the ground clearance or lean
angle for variation,steering for agility or operation for limit with the accessories from
other manufacturers. If the above problems are found, remove the accessories before you
ride the motorcycle.

Note: 1. If the vehicle is not in use, the ignition switch must be on the OFF position
2. To lock the steering after the vehicle is parked, turn the handlebar left to the maximum, insert the key into the
keyhole and turn 90°counterclockwise to lock the steering (switch to the off position, the key can be turned while
pressed down), and take out the key. To open the steering lock, insert the key in the keyhole and turn 90°
clockwise to open it and take out the key.
3. When the vehicle is parked and not in use, it is necessary to lock the steering.
[Ignition switch]
Ignition switch is located in front of the fuel tank（See Page 15 Pic 3），Turn on the Ignition switch
before start the motorcycle. Positions and functions of the key are shown in table 2：

Operation: When the preparation of the engine starting is c ompleted(See page 25). Press the start
button and turn the throttle if needs to start the engine.
