Features
This DLP ™ Projection TV adopts DLP ™ Digital Light Processing ™ technology with DMD
micro-display method. With the world's advanced digital optical display technology, our
projection TV is an improved product for better performance. The brightness is more than
450nits, peak contrast is up to 1000:1, picture uniformity is over 80% and the highest
resolution is: PC 1024*768; HDTV 1920*1080P/1280*720P, with 16780,000 colours and
24bit true colour.
•Digital HDTV-READY: Identify and receive 9 kinds of HDTV signal and DVD signal
via YPbPr interface automatically: 1920*1080P @ 60Hz (16:9), 1920*1080l@50Hz (16:9),
1920*1080l@60Hz (16:9), 1280*720P@60Hz (16:9), 720*480P@60Hz (4:3),
640*480P@60Hz (VGA), 720*480l@60Hz (4:3), 720*576P@50Hz (4:3), 720*576l@50Hz (4:
3).
•Computer multi -format adaptive system: identify and receive 10 kinds of
mainstream computer display signal via PC interface automatically. To realize the XGA,
SVGA, VGA input and high definition display: 1024*768 @ 60/75/85Hz, 800*600 @ 60/75/
85Hz, 640*480 @ 60/75/85Hz, 720*400 @ 70Hz.
•DVI digital video input: Avoiding conversion from analog to digital, the picture
becomes perfect. DVI can receive multi-format digital signal as 640*480 @ 60Hz, 800*600
@ 60Hz and 576P, 1024*768 @ 60Hz,720P,1080i.
3:2 PULL DOWN: The playing speed of movie film is 24 frame pictures per second.
While DVD interval scanning signal is 60 semi -frame pictures per second. 3:2 PULL
DOWN movie mode can match these two pictures with a new one between them. The
picture quality can be improved to better performance.

PRECAUTIONS
Warning
^ High voltage inside ! non-professionals can not open the back cover. If a problem oc-
curs(such as no picture or no sound, or if smoke or an abnormal odor starts to come
out from the projection TV),immediately unplug the power cord and contact the service
agency as soon as possible.
^ Allow enough space (at least 10cm)between the projection TV and the other subject for
proper ventilation,and do not jam the cooling fans.
^Turn the power off before replacing the lamp.
Notice
^ Do not expose the projection TV to direct sunlight or place it near heat sources, mois¬
ture and dust,or where the rain can reach.
^To prevent the projection TV from falling off or tipping over, place the unit on stable and
flat surface without vibration. Prevent child from speeling on the unit.
^Set up a lighting arrester when an out door antenna is used. Do not turn on the projec¬
tion TV during a lighting storm .At lighting intervals, pull out the power cord and antenna
cable.
^ Please turn off power supply of the projection TV while outgoing ,in case the projection
TV is not to be used for long period of time ,please pull out the power cord and antenna
cable.
^ Do not place any objects on top of the projection TV, these may cause deformation to
the cabinet and screen.
^ Aviod hard objects hitting on the projection TV (especially the screen) or excessive
shock when moving the projection TV.
Cleaning and Maintenance
^ Please clean the cabinet regularly with a dry soft cloth. Stubborn stains may be re¬
moved with a cloth slightly damped with solution of mild soap and warm water. Never
use strong solvents for cleaning.

INSTALLATION
To Install the projection TV
• Please read the PRECAUTIONS completely before installation.
• It is recommended to watch projection TV in soft and indirect light and face center of the screen for
optimum viewing effect.
• Allow enough space (at least 10cm) between the projection TV and the other subject for proper
ventilation.
• Avoid excessively warm or wet locations to prevent possible damage to the cabinet or components.

INSTALLATION
To Connect the Antenna
An outdoor antenna or CATV is recommended for the best reception. The antenna type and its location
differ dependent on local conditions.
Outdoor antenna
Notes:
® It is recommended that a 7511 coaxial cable be used in order to eliminate possible interference and
noise which may occur due to nearby radio transmissions.
(2) When using a 30011 twin-lead feeder, connect it to a 30011/7511 converter and insert the converter
into the projection TV's ANTENNA IN terminal.
® Connect an outdoor antenna referring to the above figure. Set up a lightning arrester and check it
regularly when an outdoor antenna is used.
(D The antenna cable should not be tied together with other wiring.

INSTALLATION
Replacing the Lamp
The lamp used in a projection TV has a limited lifespan. It should be replaced when the screen becomes
darker, less clear, has no effect after image adjusted or the lamp doesn't work. Please replace the lamp.
You'd better refer the servicing to Service Department. After replacing the lamp, as the screen quality will
be bright and clear as new.
To replace the lamp, please follow these steps:
0 Unplug TV, then use a screwdriver to
remove the lamp cover.
( 2 ) Use a screwdriver to unfasten 2
screws securing the lamp and sepa¬
rate the lamp from the engine. (Un¬
fasten the screws is ok)
@ Put in the new lamp and lock the
screws securing the lamp.
® Fix the lamp cover.
^ The lamp must be the same code number and type avoiding damage of TV.
^ Turn the power off and wait for 30 minutes before replacement.
^ Do not touch the glass part of the lamp to avoid injuring by sudden break; do not place the old
lamp within the reach of children.
^ Please note that when indicator II turns red, it means the lamp doesn't work well. Specify by a
table on page 10.

To Install Remote Batteries
Remove the back cover to reveal the battery compartment and make sure you insert the batteries the
right way roun(j.
^ Suitable battery types for this remote are R03 or AAA.
^ Do not combine a used, ol(d battery with a new one or mix battery types.
^ To avoid battery leakage, remove batteries from the remote control when it is not to be used
for a long periocd of time or the batteries are exhausted.
^ Do not throw your old batteries into a fire, dispose of them in a designated disposal area. Do
not expose batteries to fire or disassemble them.
•Caring for the remote control
^ When in operation, please point the remote control directly to the center of the projection TV screen.
^Do not repeatedly press the buttons on the remote control too quickly.
^Do not expose the remote control to impacts, water or disassemble it.
^The performance of the remote control will deteriorate beyond a distance of five metres or outside an
angle of 30 degrees from the centre of the TV.

^ Do not unplug TV before yellow indicator is off when presses power off.

^ Screen will display "please check flow system" when the fan doesn't work well or the inner temper¬
ature is too high. The red indicator will blinking and TV will automatically be turned off. Please
check Ventilation fan and environmental temperature of TV after unplug the set.
•Auto off without signal reception
When a channel has no signal (e.g. the TV station fails to send signals) , the projection TV will
automatically turn off when no button is pressed within 5 min.
(The function only works in the TV mode.)
•Sleep auto off

BASIC BUTTONS
Power
To enter or exit standby mode, press [ O J on the remote control.
STANDBY function enables you to reduce power consumption and damaging to
the lamp.
^Don't leave your projection TV in standby mode for a long time, turn the power off when left unat¬
tended for a long period of time.
Numeric buttons
Press the Numeric buttons to enter position number respectively.
^TV will switch to the channel number you chose without pressing on other numeric buttons in 3
seconds.
^The set has 0-99 programs preset.
P-/+.V-/+
Press P-/+ to select a lower or upper position number.

Press V-/+ to decrease or increase volume.
^P-/+ and V-/+ buttons can be used for adjusting menu.
DISPLAY
DISPLAY
Press DISPLAY to display the current position
number and time settings or other information.

^Pressing V+ can also cancel the MUTE function.
^Pressing V- can decrease the volume in the MUTE mode, but can not cancel the MUTE mode.

Press STILL to make the current picture stillness. There is a prompt on the lower
screen. Press it again to exit.
EXIT
Press EXIT to exit operation from the menu etc.
ZOOM
The following four modes are available by pressing ZOOM button repeatedly.

^Pressing EXIT or MENU stops auto-searching and stop in the previous searched program.
^Auto searching begins from PCS 1. Users are recommended to use PCS “0” for external equipment
connections like tape recorder.
^The colour system is set to AUTO, sound system to D/K for the searched program. Adjust colour and
sound systems if the picture is not in its best position.

^Colour temperature can choose from "Cool" , "Warm" and "Normal".
^Recommend value of "Sharphess" TV/AV signal 20-40, YPbPr/PC/DVI Signal is 50-100.
^The Advance menu can help you to change the HA/ center of picture with P-/+ and V-/+ buttons.

SOUND SELECTION
Stereo and Bilingual
If Stereo or dual language broadcasts are transmitted the word "Stereo" or "Dual" will appear on the screen,
disappearing after a few seconds. The display will reappear each time you change programme positions, provided
that the broadcast is in stereo. If the broadcast is not in stereo the word Mono will appear.

Stereo... Choose the required programme number. Press the [p button repeatedly, to select between
stereo and Mono.
Bilingual ... Bilingual transmissions are rare. If they are transmitted the word Dual wlW display. Choose the
required programme number and if the word Dual does appear press the ^ button to select between
Dual 1, Dual 2 or Mono.

^With Blue Screen on, the projection TV will display a blue background and mute automatically when
no signal received. With Blue Screen off, the projection TV will display noise dots on the screen in the
TV mode or the screen becomes dark in the AV mode when no signal is present.
