INSTRUCTION TO BE FOLLOWED
FOR THE MEMBRANE REPLACING
Suitable for interchangeable membrane expansion tanks from 35 to 100 litres capacity
VERTICAL TYPE: AFE
WITHOUT TIE ROD
Plastic valve cover
Air valve
Expansion tank
Membrane
Counterflange
Screws
PP protection cover
Empty the water and the air out of the
expansion tank.
Unscrew the screws of the bottom
counterflange and take it off.
Remove the membrane from the expansion
tank.
Clean the interior surface of the expansion
tank.
Instert the new membrane into the
expansion tank.
Tighten the counterflange with the right
screws.
Pre load the expansion tank to the required
pressure as per CIMM label.

HORIZONTAL TYPE: AFESB
WITHOUT TIE ROD
Counterflange
Expansion tank
Air valve
Membrane
Screws
Empty the water and the air out of the
expansion tank.
Unscrew the screws of the bottom
counterflange and take it off.
Remove the membrane from the expansion
tank.
Clean the interior surface of the expansion
tank.
Instert the new membrane into the
expansion tank.
Tighten the counterflange with the right
screws.
Pre load the expansion tank to the required
pressure as per CIMM label.
