この保証書は、お客様へのアフターサービスの実施と責任を明
確にするためのものです。ただし、貴店で別に保証書を発行す
る場合は、この限りではありません。
■次のような場合には、保証期間中でも有料修理になりますので、

●プラスチック製の時計の場合、軟質のポリ塩
化ビニルに長い間、直接ふれさせておくと、
相互に色移りしたり、付着することがありま
す。
●汚れがひどい時は、水でうすめた中性洗剤や石けん水を、
やわらかい布に少量つけてふき取り、その後、からぶきし
てく だ さ い 。
●ケースなどのよごれ落としに、ベンジン、シンナー、アル
コール、スプレー式クリーナー類は、使用しないでくだ
さい。

小さな部品や小形の電池（ボタン形、コイン形およ
び単4形、単5形など）は、幼児の手の届く所に置か

時計は精密機器です。落としたりして衝撃を与え
ないでください。故障や破損の原因になります。
表示部が破損して液晶が手などについた場合は、
石鹸で洗い流してください。目や口に入った場合
は、きれいな水でよく洗い流し、直ちに、医師の治
療を受けてください。

択して受信します。
送信所から約1200km離れた場所でも受信可能です。ただ
し、受信範囲であっても電波障害(太陽活動、季節、天候、置
き場所、時間帯（昼／夜）あるいは地形や建物の影響など）に
より、受信できないことがあります。
標準電波(JJY)は、日本標準時(JST)をお知らせするために、
情報通信研究機構が運用している電波です。
※標準電波の時刻情報は、およそ10万年に１秒の誤差とい
う「セシウム原子時計」によるものです。
標準電波送信所は、福島県の「福島局：おおたかどや山標準
電波送信所」と佐賀県と福岡県の県境にある「九州局：はがね
山標準電波送信所」の2ヵ所あります。

次のような場所では受信できない場合や誤受信することがあります。
海外での使用について
日本、アメリカ、スイス、ドイツ、イギリスの５カ国の標準電
波に対応しています。国の選択が適切でないと、他の国の電
波を受信して時刻を表示することがあります。手動で時刻合
わせをしてご使用になるときには、電波の受信機能を「OFF」
にしてお使いください。
標準電波の送信停止について
送信所の定期点検や落雷などの影響により、標準電波の送
信が停止することがあります。
サマータイムについて
サマータイムの情報を受信した場合、「DST」が表示
されます。

○付属の電池は工場出荷時に入れていますので、電池寿命が製品
仕様より短い場合があります。
○液晶表示板は５年を過ぎると、コントラストが低下して表示が見
にくく な るこ と が あ りま す。
○０〜４０℃の温度範囲を超えると、液晶表示が見えにくくなるこ
とがあります。
○製品仕様は改良のため予告なく変更することがあります。
この取扱説明書を許可なく複製、変更することを禁じます。
この製品によって生じたいかなる支出、損益、その他の損
失に対してなんら責任を負いません。
センサーが時計内部にあるため、時計周囲の温度が変
化しても表示に反映するまでには時間がかかります。
温度が測定範囲を超えた場合の表示
５０℃より高 温：「HH」 −９．9℃より低温：「LL」
㊟本製品は室内用ですので、室内温度の計測以外の目的では使用で
きません。また厳密な温度管理を行う用途には適していません。

静電気の影響により誤作動し、表示などがおかしく
なることがあります。リセットボタンを押してくださ

The after sales service of this clock will be done by the stores of
purchase. Please read the following and the contents of the guarantee
to utilize the after sales service.
Stock of Replacement
The functional repair parts of this clock (electronic circuits, etc.)
are available up to 3 years at average after the discontinuation of
production. For the exterior parts,(case, dial,etc.)we may possibly
substitute similar exterior parts or may exchange the product to a
new one.
Period of Repair
The repair is possible at cost as long as the functional parts are
available even after the guarantee period. The repair, however,
will include all the shipment fee back and forth the retailer and the
factory and any other expenses whatsoever in some cases. The
repair cost may exceed the price of the clock. Please consult the
retailer for details.
In Case of Address Change or Gift Clock
If the clock is a gift, or if you have moved and is unable to ask for
after sales services at the store of purchase, due to distance, please
contact the RHYTHM WATCH CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER.

If any malfunction occurs during the guarantee period, under proper
usage following the instruction manual, please present the clock
to the place of purchase and it will be adjusted or repaired free of
charge. The issue of this guarantee does not limit your legal rights.

When using the clock under the manual setting mode,
turn OFF the radio wave reception function.
Suspension of Standard Radio Wave
At times, the radio wave may stop due to the regular
maintenance of the stations or by lightening.
About Summer Time
On receiving the daylight saving time information,
‘DST’ display appears, and the clock will display the
summer time for that certain country.
What is the Radio controlled clock?
The radio controlled clock receives standard radio
wave transmissions that contain accurate time and
calendar information. Based on that information, the
radio controlled clock automatically adjusts its display
to the correct time.
Receiving Areas of the Radio Waves (in Japan)
Under favorable conditions, it is possible to receive
radio waves at distances up to 1,200 km from a
broadcast station. Even when within range, however,
radio wave interference may cause reception to fail or
be faulty.
Unfavorable conditions for radio wave reception
Even when within range, radio wave reception may fail due
to conditions related to the location or orientation of the
clock, topographical features, building structures, etc..
Moreover, if noise causes erroneous reception, the clock may
display the incorrect time.
• Areas where it is difficult for radio waves to penetrate,
such as in building basements or in secluded rooms inside
large buildings
• Near high-voltage cables, TV towers or train bridges
• Near metal shutters or window blinds

make a single beeping sound and displays all available
segments. The receiver will then start to scan any radio
wave automatically.
2)Check the result
If the radio wave is received successfully, the relevant
world region will be underlined and will stay visible on the
display.
Once the radio wave signal is received, the date and the time
will be set automatically. If the time signal is not received
within about 12 minutes, the time and the date must be set
manually by referring to the proper direction.

How to starts or stop the radio wave reception
When a clock is in a normal state, press and hold the (+)
button until a beep sound sounds. In order to stop
reception of an electric wave, press and hold the (-)
button in normal mode. The clock will make a single beep
sound.
The International Travel Clock has two alarm systems.
Weekly alarm : Alarm sounds at the time from Monday to Friday.
Single alarm : Alarm sounds at the time specified once per day.
