Bedside Crib
Safety
Do not use the product if any part if broken, torn or missing.
Young children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the
vicinity of the crib.
Baby should only be placed in the crib following the secure attachment
of the straps to the bed.
Stand should be locked in the fixed position when the product is in use.
All assembly fittings should always be tightened properly and securely.
When a child is able to sit, kneel or pull itself up, the crib is no longer
suitable for this child.
The thickness of the mattress chosen should be such that the internal
vertical height (surface of the top of the mattress to the lower edge of
the bed sides) is at least 200mm in the highest set position of the bed
base.
The mattress size should be 70 x 40cm.
Do not allow pets or other children near the crib or stand.

Sleep aids are not recommended for this product following the Lullaby
Trust guidelines. Only use the mattress specifically recommended for

Never carry or move the crib with a baby inside.
No objects or toys are to be left in the crib as they could increase the
risk of suffocation, strangulation or provide a footrest.
When in bedside mode, ensure the stand is securely attached to the
bed frame in line with the user guide, and ensure all excess strap
material and poles are kept away from babies and children.
Please take care when using the zip to avoid catching hands, feet or
limbs.

Regularly check the assembly of the crib and stand (all components are
secure and tightened properly and no parts are missing or are loose eg
poppers, screws, etc.)
Only use the stand provided and ensure that the basket is securely
fixed when used as a bedside crib.
This is a natural product and it may be affected by extremely dry, humid
or damp atmospheres.
Only use replacement parts supplied or approved by the manufacturer.
The crib and stand can be wiped/sponged clean and fabric can be
removed from the crib and washed according to the care label.
Only use on a firm horizontal surface.
Do not attach anything to the crib which may affect its stability.
Do not place the product near an open fire or other source of strong
heat.
Do not add other mattresses on top of the mattress provided, this could
cause an uneven base.
Dispose of all packaging before use. Complies with BS EN 1130-1:1997

Components
Begin by measuring your matress height from floor level. Compare this measurement to the
diagrams on the back page and choose the correct height setting range.

Once you have the correct height setting assemble both sets of legs D and E using the 40mm
bolts and 12mm nuts. Place leg E flat on the floor then place leg D on top and line up the
correct hole position according to the height setting for your bed (from back page).

Ensure that
assembled legs are
the correct way up
and face inwards.
(note the position of
the additional holes)
It will seem like the shorter Rods are
not long enough, this is normal and
requires slight compressing of the
assembled legs together. Once fully
assembled the stand will naturally
taper inwards towards the top.

Attach the 2 Plastic Straps to each end of the stand using 8 x Screws and adjust their position
to ensure a snug fit around the base of the basket.

Wood/Metal frame bed
Use the Shorter strap to secure the stand to a wooden/metal frame bed.
Remove the mattress and position the stand tight against the frame in the desired position.
Using the shorter strap wrap it around both the bed frame and the central part of the stand leg.
Adjust the strap so there is no movement between the bed frame and stand. Any excess strap
material must be tucked out of reach of babies and children.

Avoid positioning

central join of the
divan base.
Divan bed
Use the Longer strap to secure the stand to a divan bed.
Remove the mattress and position the stand tight against the bed in the desired position.
Using the longer strap wrap it around the entire divan base and the central part of the stand
leg. Adjust the strap so there is no movement between the bed and stand. Any excess strap
material must be tucked out of reach of babies and children.

Ensure that the basket sits firmly on the cross bar poles and that the plastic straps are adjusted
for a snug fit.
