Care and maintenance of thepump
• Let thepump run for four to six hours aday, but never when people are using thepool.
• Do not let thepump run for too long, especially on very hot days, since it may
overheat and suffer damage.
• Thepump does not need lubrication or any other maintenance.
• Always unplug thepower lead of thepump from thewall socket
before doing any work on thepump.
• Use nothing but aslightly damp cloth to clean theoutside of thepump.
Never use solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• When thepump is not in use, store it in awarm, dry place, first makingsure
that all parts are completelydry.
Changing thepump filter
How often thepump filter needs cleaning or changing depends on how may people
use thepool and how often they doso. Asarule of thumb, thefilter should be
cleaned/changed every threeweeks.
1. Unplug thepower lead of thepump from thewall socket.
2. Remove thestrainers from thepump inlet and outlet and fit theplugs.
3. Turn theair vent screw on thetop of thepump anticlockwise to release
any pressure in thepump.
4. Remove thetop of thepump (turn it anticlockwise) and take out thefilter.
5. Rinse thefilter withwater. Ifyou cannot get it clean, fit anew filter.
6. Refit thecleaned or new filter and screw thetop on to thepump (turning it clockwise).
7. Take out theplugs, fit thestrainers, let thepump and hoses fill with water and vent
thepump.
Emptying, dismantling and storage
1. Unplug thepower lead of thefilter pump from thewall socket.
2. Check that thedrain nozzle is properly fitted to theside of thepool.
3. Connect agarden hose to theadapter and make sure that theother endof
thehose is lower than thepool so that it can drain completely. Checkalsothat
thewater from thepool can run off safely.
4. Fit thesupplied plugs to thepump hose inlet and outlet on theinsideof
thepool and detach thehoses.
5. Fit theadapter to thedrain valve by turning it clockwise.
6. Open thedrain plug on theinside of thepool so that water starts to drainoff.
7. When thepool is empty, remove theadapter.
8. Refit thedrain plug inside thepool.
9. Make sure that thepool is completely dry before folding it up for storage.
Thesmallest amount of moisture may causemould. Tip: Thepool is easier
to fold if you leave it in thesun for afew hours before you installit. Thismakes
thematerial of thepool softer and more pliable.
10. When thepool is thoroughly dry and folded, it must be stored wrapped in
agroundsheet, tarpaulin or similar.
11. Store thepool and all its accessories indoors, in awarm, dryplace.
