1. Pool Safety Instructions
1. Itisthepoolowner’sresponsibilitytondoutandfollowanyguidelinesandtakeany
safety measures before setting up the pool. It is important that local authority regula-
tions regarding pool usage are adhered to.
2. Thispoolisonlyforpersonsover6yearsofage.
3. Donotletchildrenusethepoolwithoutconstantadultsupervision.
4. Donotallowanyonetodiveorjumpintothepool.Donotbuildtower-likestructures
nexttothepooltojumpinfrom;thewaterlevelisnotsufcientforthis.Suchactivities
canresultinseriousorevenfatalinjuries.
5. Violentgamesshouldnotbeplayedinoraroundthepool.Failuretocomplywiththis
rulecouldresultinseriousinjury.
6. Informchildrenusingthepoolthatthewatershouldnotbedrunk.Remindchildrento
leave the pool before going to the toilet.
7. Donotallowanyonetoeatorchewguminthepool.Thiswillreducethedangerof
choking.
8. Cleanorchangethepoolwaterregularly.
9. Keeparescuekitcloseby.Includethingssuchasaboathookandaliferingwithline.
Emergency phone numbers and pool regulations should also be clearly visible.
10.Thepoolareamustbewellilluminatedifusedatnight.Itisimportantthatallbathers
can see the bottom of the pool, safety notices and footpaths. An electrician should
installsuitablelighting.Thepoolownerisresponsibleforensuringthatlightingsafety
standards are met.
11.Coverthepoolwiththepoolcoverwhennotinuse.
2. Filter Pump Safety Instructions
1. Neverusethepumpwithoutwater.
2. Onlyconnectthepump’smainsadaptortoanearthedpowersupplyoutletequipped
withaRCDdesignedtooperateatleakagesof30mA.
3. Locatethemainsadaptorasfarawayfromthepoolasthe12Vconnectioncablewill
allow.
4. Disconnecttheadaptorfromboththepowersupplyandpumpwhenitisnotinuse.
5. Do not use an extension lead.
6. Donotstartthepumpuntilthepoolislled.
7. Neverrunthelterpumpwhensomeoneisinthepool.
8. Donotrunthepumpformorethan48hoursatatimeandmakesurethatboththe
pump and adaptor are cool before use.
9. Cleanthepumplterafterevery3-4daysofuse.Iftheowfromthelterpumphasa
reducedandthenoisefromthepumphasincreasedafterthelterhasbeencleaned
severaltimes;thelterneedstobechanged(see“Cleaning/changingthelter”below).

3. Assembly Instructions
a) Choosing a location
ItisimportanttochooseasuitablelocationforthepoolBEFOREllingitwithwater.
Tomakeassemblyanduseofthepoolasunproblematicaspossible,usethefollowing
guidelineswhenchoosingalocationforthepool:
a) Makesurethatthegroundisrm,atandlevel.
WARNING! Pools located on uneven ground can start to
leak,deformorcollapse,resultinginpossibledamageto
propertyorinjurytopeoplearoundthepool.Neverusesand
or other substances to level the ground underneath the pool!
b) Clearthegroundofstones,twigs,rubbishandanysharpob-
jectsbeforespreadingoutthepool.Otherwise,theseobjects
might damage the pool.
c) Donotchoosealocationdirectlyunderoverheadpower
lines,treesorwithin5metresofabuilding.Makesurethattherearenoburiedpow-
er or telephone cables, or gas pipes under your chosen location. Neither should you
choosealocationontopofdeckingorotheroilimpregnatedwoodsurface.
d) Donotlocatethepoolclosetobalconiesorotherraisedplatforms.Thiswilleliminate
thetemptationforpeopletojumpintothepoolfromheights,resultinginpossible
injury.
e) Ifagroundsheetissuppliedwiththepool,itisrecommendedthatitbeused.The
groundsheetprotectsthepoolfromdamagefromsharpobjects.NOTE!Choosethe
locationofthepoolcarefullybecausethelawnandanyplantsundertheground-
sheetwillprobablydie.Youshouldavoidlocationswithweedsthatcangrowup
through the bottom of the pool.
f) Ifpossible,thepoolshouldbeplacedindirectsunlight;thiswarmsthewatervery
well.
Never drag the pool over the ground. Your pool is a delicate product, easily
damaged – carry it to the chosen location.



b) Assembling the pool and lling it with water
When you have chosen a suitable location you can proceed to the instructions for
assemblingthepool.Westronglyrecommendthattwopeoplehelponeanotherto
assemble the pool.
a) Ifthepoolcomeswithagroundsheet,openitupandlayitonthegroundyouhave
chosenforthepool.Makesurethatthegroundsheetisat,notcreasedorfolded.
Makesurethatthepumpmainsleadhasasaferoutetothemainsoutlet.
b) WARNING! Onlyconnectthelterpumptoanearthedmainsoutletequippedwith
aRCD.Donotuseanextensionlead.Donotstartthepumpuntilthepoolislled.
Neverrunthelterpumpwhensomeoneisinthepool.Donotrunthepumpformore
than48hoursatatimeandmakesurethatboththepumpandadaptorarecool
beforeuse.Remembertocleanorchangethecartridgeregularly(see“Cleaning/
changingthelter”).Makesurethatthedrainageplugisinasuitablepositionfor

c) Unpackthepoolandlayitinthemiddleofthegroundsheet.NOTE!Donotdragthe
pool,thiscouldripordamageit.Ifthepooldoesrip,lookinthetroubleshootingguide
for suggested solutions.
d) Spreadoutthepoolasevenlyaspossible.Tip!Thepoolwillbeeasiertoassemble
ifyouleaveitspreadoutindirectsunlightforacoupleofhoursrst.Thissoftensthe
poolmaterial,allowingittotakeshapemoreeasilyduringination.
e) Inatetheringontheedgeofthepoolwithairandthenholditinthemiddleofthe
pool.Theupperringairvalveisnexttothewarninglabel.Whenlling,pinchthe
valve closest to the pool to open a safety valve inside the air valve.
IMPORTANT:Theupperringshouldbeinatedtoabout85%capacity.Donotattempt
toinateitmorethanthis.Ifyouinateittoomuchtheringcansplitattheseams.



f) Startllingthepoolwithwater.Whenthepoolwaterisabout2cmdeep,stop
llingandstraightenoutanycreasesinthepool.Fromtheinsideofthepool,push
outwardsatthejointofthepoolsidesandbottom.Fromoutsidethepool,gripthe
bottomofthepoolandpullitoutwards.Thiswaythepoolwillbelledevenlyand
stayround.Ifyoustillhaveproblems,gettwopeopletostandonoppositesidesof
the pool and pull until the creases disappear.
NOTE!Ifyouhave2.5-5cmwaterononesideofthepoolbeforethemiddlestarts
lling,thepoolisnotonlevelground.Inthiscase,thepoolshouldbeemptiedand
the procedure repeated.
NOTE!Thepoolistooheavytobemovedonceyouhavebegunllingit.
g) Youcannowstartllingthepooltothecorrectlevel;therearemarksonthesidesof
thepool.Thelowestwaterlevelis15cmabovethelterintake.Asthepoolllsthe
sidesofthepoolwillberaisedbytherisingwaterlevel.Checkthepooloccasionally
tomakesurethatitislledevenly.Fillthepooluntilthewaterreachesthemarks
insidethepool.Donotllabovethemarks.
Correctwaterlevel
Thesidesofthepoolwillbe
raisedbytherisingwaterlevel.

Theltershouldbemountedontheinsideofthepoolwall.Themotorispermanent-
lymountedontheoutsideofthepoolwall.Attachthelter/pumpconnectiontothe
motorthroughthewallofthepool.Next,connectthepumpandthepoolwaterinlet
using the hose and hose clips.
Thepoolwaterpassesthroughthelterinletandtheltercartridgebeforepassing
throughthehoseontheoutsideofthepoolwallandbackintothepool.Thewateris
cleaned by circulation.
4. Use
1. Makesurethatthepoolislledwithwaterandthatthepumpandlterarecorrectly
mounted.
2. Connecttheadaptortothepumpandplaceitasfarawayfromthepoolasthe12V
connectioncablewillallow.
3. Tostartthepump,connectthemainsleadtoa230Vearthedmainsoutletequipped
withaRCD.
4. Thepumpcanrunwhenthepoolisnotinusebutonlyformax.48hoursatatime.
Whenthepumpisrunning,thecover(f)ofthelterhousingshouldbeoff.
5. Cleaning/changing the filter
1. Makesurethatthepump’smainsleadisdisconnectedfromthepowersupply.
2. Turnthelter/pumpconnection(a)anticlockwisetoloosenthelterhousing.
3. Removethelterfromthehousingandcleanit,orifnecessarychangeit.
4. Replacethelterandscrewitbackontothemotor.
6. Draining the pool
Pushthedrainagenozzleintothedrainageventatthebottomofthepoolwall.Thewater
shouldnowstarttodrainfromthepool.Youcanevenconnectadrainagehose(notin-
cluded) to the nozzle.
7. Disposal
Followlocalordinanceswhendisposingofthisproduct.Ifyouareunsureabouthowto
dispose of this product contact your municipality.

8. Pool Troubleshooting Guide
