INSTALLATION.
After rem ving the packaging, make sure that the water s ftener isn't damaged. Keep the packaging
materials (plastic bags, cardb ard b x etc.) ut f the reach f children as they can be danger us.
The water s ftener sh uld be installed in full bservance f the current laws, f ll wing the
manufacturer's instructi ns and by experts. If installed inc rrectly, the equipment may cause injuries
t pe ple and animals and damage t pr perty, in which case the manufacturer cann t be held
liable.
• Install the water s ftener in r ms where the temperature is minimum 5°c and maximum 30°c

CONNECTION TO THE WATER MAINS (Refer t Fig 1)
• The user must install a tap between the water mains and the water s ftener s that the water can
be turned ff in an emergency, plus a check valve t av id any pressure returns.
• C nnect the water inlet and utlet h ses t the water s ftener and make sure these are tightened
pr perly.
• Place the drain h se directly in a drain.
COMMISSIONING

Turn the taps levers t the left and pen the water inlet; let the water fl w
until clear, then st p the inlet water and c nnect the utlet h se t the
machine t be supplied.

Rout ne Regenerat on (Refer t Fig 3)
• Place the depressi n h se in a bucket. Turn the taps levers t the right and
wait f r the pressure t dr p. Rem ve the c ver by unscrewing the kn b and
then add the salt in the am unt indicated t suit the m del (see table 1).
• WARNING: Rem ve any salt fr m the seal n the c ver.

Regenerat on Mode (Refer t Fig 4)
• Replace the c ver and tighten the kn b securely, then m ve the inlet tap
lever t the left.
• WARNING: Rem ve any salt fr m the t p f the water s ftener.
• Let the salty water fl w fr m the drain h se until the water is s ft (ab ut 40
minutes).
Normal Operat ng Mode
• Return the water s ftener t n rmal w rking c nditi ns by turning the utlet
tap lever t the left.
• Regenerati n c mpleted.
• WARNING: the equ pment connected to the water softener s not
suppl ed dur ng regenerat on.

To ensure the eff c ency of the water softener at all t mes, we recommend rout ne
regenerat on to su t the use made of the water softener and the hardness of the water used.
