Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Um das Risiko von Feuer oder einem elektrischen Schlag zu vermeiden, sollten
Sie das Gerät nicht Regen oder Feuchtigkeit aussetzen. Das Gerät nicht in
unmittelbarer Nähe von Wasser betreiben (z.B. Badezimmer, Schwimmbecken,
feuchte Keller).
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck.
Das Gerät ausschließlich an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose
anschließen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die angegebene Spannung mit der Spannung
der Steckdose übereinstimmt.
Bei Verwendung von externen Netzteilen auf die richtige Polarität und Spannung
achten, Batterien stets richtigherum einlegen.
Das Gerät so aufstellen, dass vorhandene Lüftungsöffnungen nicht verdeckt werden.
Niemals das Gehäuse des Gerätes öffnen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen
können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Bei Beschädigung des
Gerätes, insbesondere des Netzkabels, das Gerät nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen,
sondern von einem Fachmann reparieren lassen. Netzkabel regelmäßig auf
Beschädigungen prüfen.
Ein defektes Netzkabel darf nur vom Hersteller, unserem Kundendienst oder einer
ähnlich qualifizierten Person durch ein gleichwertiges Kabel ersetzt werden, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose, bzw. entnehmen Sie die Batterien.
Diese Symbole können sich ggfs. auf dem Gerät befinden und sollen Sie auf fol-
gendes hinweisen:
Das Blitz-Symbol soll den Benutzer auf Teile im Inneren des Gerätes hin-
weisen, die gefährlich hohe Spannungen führen.
Das Symbol mit Ausrufezeichen soll den Benutzer auf wichtige
Bedienungs- oder Wartungs-Hinweise in den Begleitpapieren hinweisen.
Geräte mit diesem Symbol arbeiten mit einem „Klasse 1-Laser“zur
Abtastung der CD. Die eingebauten Sicherheitsschalter sollen verhindern,
dass der Benutzer gefährlichem, für das menschliche Auge nicht sichtba-
rem Laserlicht ausgesetzt wird, wenn das CD-Fach geöffnet ist.
Diese Sicherheitsschalter sollten auf keinen Fall überbrückt oder manipuliert wer-
den, sonst besteht die Gefahr, dass Sie sich dem Laser-Licht aussetzen.

Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes/Einführung
•Lesen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch!
•Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Standort für das Gerät, geeignet wäre eine
trockene, ebene, rutschfeste Fläche, auf der Sie das Gerät gut bedienen kön-
nen.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät ausreichend belüftet wird!
Stromversorgung
Verbinden Sie das beiliegende Netzkabel mit einer vorschriftsmäßig installierten
Schutzkontaktsteckdose 230 V/50 Hz und dem Netzanschlußan der Rückseite des
Gerätes. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzspannung mit den Angaben auf dem
Typenschild übereinstimmt.
Batterien einlegen
Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf der Rückseite.
Legen Sie 8 Batterien des Typs 1,5 V Mono Zellen Type UM-1 ein. Achten Sie auf
die richtige Polarität (siehe Batteriefachboden)!
Haben Sie ein Netzkabel angeschlossen, werden die Batterien automatisch abge-
schaltet.
Bitte geben Sie verbrauchte Batterien nicht in den Hausmüll.
Führen sie Altbatterien einer umweltgerechten Entsorgung zu.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose, bzw. entnehmen Sie die Batterien, um „Auslaufen“von Batteriesäure zu
vermeiden.
Kopfhörerbuchse
Benutzen Sie für den Kopfhörerbetrieb einen Kopfhörer mit einem 3.5 mm
Klinkenstecker, den Sie in den PHONES (Kopfhörer) Anschluss (24) stecken. Die
Lautsprecher werden abgeschaltet.
Transportsicherung CD Fach
Öffnen Sie das CD Fach, indem Sie die OPEN Taste drücken. Entfernen Sie vor der
Inbetriebnahme, wenn vorhanden, die Transportsicherung aus dem CD-Player.
Ausschalten
Das Gerät ist außer Betrieb, wenn der FUNCTION Schalter (23) in Position TAPE
steht und alle Bandlauffunktionen ausgeschaltet sind. Ziehen sie anschließend den
Netzstecker.
Radio hören
1. Schieben Sie den Funktionswahlschalter (23) zur Position RADIO.
2. Mit dem Bandwahlschalter (20) können Sie das gewünschte Frequenzband
auswählen.
UKW (Stereo) = FMS / UKW = FM / Mittelwelle = AM (Mono).

3. Stimmen Sie mit dem Sender Abstimmknopf TUNING (18) den gewünschten
Sender ab.
4. Die Stereo-Kontrollleuchte (21) leuchtet nur, wenn Sie UKW Stereo ausgewählt
haben und den Sender in Stereo Qualität empfangen. Ist der Empfang zu
schwach und rauscht der empfangene Sender, ist es möglich, dass diese nicht
leuchtet. Versuchen Sie, mit Drehen und An - bzw. Abwinkeln und Ändern der
Länge der Antenne den Empfang zu verbessern. Ist keine Verbesserung zu
erreichen, empfiehlt es sich, auf UKW - Mono zu schalten.
5. Zum Empfang von MW/AM Sendern verfahren Sie auf entsprechende Weise. In
diesem Frequenzband werden Sendungen nur in “Mono”ausgestrahlt.
Kassetten hören
Kassetten wiedergeben
1. Schieben Sie den Funktionswahlschalter (23) zur Position TAPE.
2. Drücken Sie die STOP/EJ Taste (16), um das Kassettenfach zu öffnen.
3. Schieben Sie eine bespielte Audio Kassette mit dem Band nach vorn und mit
der zu hörenden Seite nach vorne (volle Spule links) in das Fach.
4. Drücken Sie die Play Taste (13), um das Band wiederzugeben.
5. Mit der STOP/EJ Taste (16) können Sie die Wiedergabe anhalten.
6. Spulen Sie das Band bei Bedarf mit den Tasten sinngemäß vor oder zurück.
F.FWD = vorwärts; REW = rückwärts (26/27).
Drücken Sie zwischen dem Umschalten und zum Anhalten der
Bandlauffunktionen immer die STOP/EJ Taste (16). Somit vermeiden Sie
mechanische Schäden am Gerät oder eine Beschädigung des Bandes.
7. Durch erneutes Drücken der STOP/EJ (16) Taste, öffnet sich die
Kassettenfachklappe.
8. Um die Wiedergabe kurz zu unterbrechen, drücken Sie die PAUSE Taste (17).
Nochmaliges Drücken gibt die Wiedergabe frei.
Kassetten aufnehmen
1. Legen Sie eine Audio-Kassette mit der zu bespielenden Seite nach vorne (volle
Spule links) ein. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kassette nicht kopiergeschützt
ist (die Kopierschutzzunge an der oberen Schmalseite der Kassette darf nicht
herausgebrochen sein).
2. Wählen Sie die Aufnahmequelle mit dem Funktionswahlschalter (23) aus und
starten Sie ggf. diese Quelle. Sie nehmen von der Tonquelle auf die Sie hören.
Der Aufnahmepegel wird automatisch ausgesteuert. Änderungen an Klang und
Lautstärke verändern die Aufnahme nicht.
3. Drücken Sie die RECORD Taste (12). Die Aufnahme beginnt. Alle vorherigen
Aufnahmen werden automatisch gelöscht.
4. Sie können die Aufnahme mit der PAUSE Taste (17) kurz unterbrechen oder mit
der STOP/EJ Taste (16) anhalten.

CDs abspielen
So geben Sie eine CD wieder:
1. Schieben Sie den Funktionswahlschalter (23) in Position “CD”.
2. Zum Öffnen des CD Fachs (22), drücken Sie bitte die OPEN Taste.
3. Legen Sie eine Audio CD mit dem Aufdruck nach oben so auf den
Zentrierkegel bis die CD einrastet. Schließen Sie dann das CD Fach (22).
4. In der Anzeige (9) wird nach einigen Sekunden die Gesamtzahl der
Lieder/Tracks angezeigt.
5. Die Wiedergabe beginnt automatisch mit dem ersten Titel der CD. Während der
Wiedergabe wird die Nummer des aktuellen Liedes angezeigt.
6. Mit dem Lautstärkeknopf (7), können Sie die gewünschte Lautstärke einstellen.
Beschreibung der CD Tasten:
PLAY/PAUSE (1): Durch einmaliges Drücken, können Sie die Wiedergabe kurz
unterbrechen. Auf dem Display blinkt dann die Titelnummer.
SKIP DOWN (2): Durch einmaliges Drücken können Sie zum vorherigen Titel sprin-
gen. Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt setzt ein Schnelllauf ein.
SKIP UP: Durch einmaliges Drücken können Sie zum nächsten Titel springen.
Halten Sie die Taste gedrückt setzt ein Schnelllauf ein.
STOP: Die CD wird angehalten.
REPEAT:
1x drücken:Das aktuelle Lied wird ständig wiederholt. (im Display erscheint nach
der Titelnummer ein Punkt).
2x drücken:Die komplette CD wird ständig wiederholt. (im Display blinkt nach der
Titelnummer ein PUNKT).
3x drücken:Die Funktion wird deaktiviert und die CD wird im normalen Modus
abgespielt.
MEMORY: Lässt die Programmierung einer beliebigen Titelfolge zu.
Um Ihnen die Programmierung zu erleichtern, möchten wir Ihnen diese an einem
Beispiel aufzeigen. Beispiel: Sie möchten die Titelnummern 4 und 12 abspeichern.
•Drücken Sie die STOP Taste (5).
•Titelnummer 4: - Drücken Sie MEMORY (6).
- Wählen Sie mit der SKIP UP Taste (4)/SKIP DOWN Taste
(2) den Titel Nr. 4 aus.
- Drücken Sie die REPEAT Taste (3).
•Titelnummer 12: - Wählen Sie mit der SKIP UP Taste (4)/SKIP DOWN Taste
(2) den Titel Nr. 12 aus.
•Drücken Sie die PLAY Taste (1), um die Wiedergabe zu starten.
Möchten Sie das Programm kurz unterbrechen drücken Sie die PLAY/PAUSE Taste
(1). Drücken Sie erneut die PLAY/PAUSE Taste, um die Wiedergabe wieder freizu-
geben. Zum Löschen der Programmierung drücken Sie die STOP Taste (16).

MP3-CDs
Sie können mit Ihrem Gerät MP3 CDs abspielen. Auf diesen CDs können bis zu
200 Titel verdichtet abgespeichert werden. Ihr Gerät erkennt eine MP3 CD automa-
tisch. Die Klangqualität bleibt somit erhalten. Zum Abspielen dieser CDs gehen Sie
bitte vor, wie unter CDs abspielen beschrieben. Die Programmierung von Titeln
können Sie, wie bereits in unserem Bespiel beschrieben durchführen.
Reinigung und Pflege
Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker.
Äußere Flecken können sie mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch, ohne Zusatzmittel,
abwischen.
Dieses Gerät entspricht den einschlägigen CE-Richtlinien und
ist nach den neuesten sicherheitstechnischen Vorschriften gebaut.
Technische Änderungen vorbehalten!
Garantie
Wir übernehmen für das von uns vertriebene Gerät eine Garantie von 24 Monaten
ab Kaufdatum (Kassenbon).
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit beseitigen wir unentgeltlich die Mängel des Gerätes oder
des Zubehörs*), die auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehler beruhen, durch Reparatur
oder, nach unserem Ermessen, durch Umtausch. Garantieleistungen bewirken
weder eine Verlängerung der Garantiefrist, noch beginnt dadurch ein Anspruch auf
eine neue Garantie!
Als Garantienachweis gilt der Kaufbeleg. Ohne diesen Nachweis kann ein kosten-
loser Austausch oder eine kostenlose Reparatur nicht erfolgen.
Im Garantiefall geben Sie bitte das Grundgerät in der Originalverpackung zusammen
mit dem Kassenbon an Ihren Händler.
*) Zubehörteile unterliegen der gesetzlichen Gewährleistungspflicht ( 6 Monate)
und führen nicht zum kostenlosen Umtausch des kompletten Gerätes. In diesem
Fall nicht das Gerät, sondern nach Absprache mit unserem Kundendienst, nur das
defekte Zubehörteil einschicken bzw. bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätz-
lich kostenpflichtig!
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen (z.B. Motorkohlen,
Knethaken, Antriebsriemen, Ersatzfernbedienung, Ersatzzahnbürsten, Sägeblättern
usw.), als auch Reinigung, Wartung oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen, fallen
nicht unter die Garantie und sind deshalb kostenpflichtig!
Die Garantie erlischt bei Fremdeingriff.

Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit können Reparaturen kostenpflichtig vom entsprechen-
den Fachhandel oder Reparaturservice ausgeführt werden.

Ersatzkannen, Staubsaugerfilterbeutel usw. können Sie mit Angabe des Gerätetyps

General safety instructions
To avoid the risk of fire or an electric shock, you should not expose the device to
rain or moisture. Consequently, do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of
water - for example near a bath tub, a swimming pool or in a damp cellar.
Use the device only for the intended purpose.
Only connect the device at a properly installed plug socket. Pay attention that the
specified voltage corresponds to the voltage of the plug socket.
When using external mains supply, pay attention to the correct polarity and voltage.
Always place the batteries in the correct direction.
Assemble the device in such a way that the available ventilation openings are not
covered.
Never open the housing of the device. Incorrect repairs can constitute a considera-
ble risk for the user. Should the device become damaged, in particular the mains
supply cable, do not operate the device any longer, but rather have it repaired by an
expert. Check the mains supply cable regularly for damage.
For safety reasons a broken or damaged mains lead may only be replaced by an
equivalent lead from the manufacturer, our customer service department or a
similary qualified person.
If the device is not used for a longer period, remove the plug connector from the
plug socket or take out the batteries.
These symbols may be found on the machine and are intended to indicate the
following:
The lightning symbol should advise the user of parts in the inside of the
device which carry dangerously high voltage levels.
The symbol with an exclamation mark should advise the user of important
operation or maintenance instructions in the accompanying documentation.
Devices bearing this symbol work with a „class 1 laser“for tracing the CD.
The built-in safety switches should prevent the user being exposed to dan-
gerous laser light, which is invisible to the human eye, when the CD com-
partment is opened.
Under no circumstances should these safety switches be bypassed or manipulated,
as this could result in a danger of exposure to the laser light.

Initial Use of the Radio Recorder/Introduction
•Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the radio recorder
for the first time!
•Select a suitable location for the radio recorder, such as a dry, flat, non-slip sur-
face on which it is easy to operate the machine.
•Ensure that the radio recorder is sufficiently ventilated!
Power Supply
Connect the power cable supplied to a properly installed 230 V/50 Hz safety power
socket and the mains connector on the back of the machine. Ensure that the volta-
ge is the same as that indicated on the model identification plate.
Inserting the Batteries
Open the lid of the battery compartment on the back.
Insert 8 batteries of type 1.5V mono cells type UM-1. Ensure that the polarity is cor-
rect (see the bottom of the battery compartment)!
When a mains cable is connected the batteries are automatically switched off.
Please do not throw old batteries in the domestic waste, but return them for proper
disposal.
Headphone Socket
Please use headphones with a 3.5 mm jack, which should be inserted in the PHO-
NES socket (24). The loudspeakers are then switched off.

Transport Safety Device, CD Compartment
Open the CD compartment by pressing the OPEN button. Before operating the
machine for the first time, remove the transport safety device from the CD player if it
is still in place.
Switching off
The machine is switched off if the FUNCTION switch (23) is turned to the TAPE
position and all tape functions are switched off. Then remove the mains lead.
Listening to the Radio
1. Turn the function selector switch (23) to the RADIO position.
2. With the band selector switch (20) you can select the desired frequency band.
UKW (stereo) = FM stereo / UKW = FM / Medium Wave = AM (mono).
3. Tune into the desired radio station with the TUNING button (18).
4. The stereo control lamp (21) only lights up if you have selected FM stereo and
are receiving the station in stereo quality. If reception is too weak and there is
interference, it is possible that the stereo control lamp will not light up. Try to
improve reception by turning, bending and altering the length of the aerial. If it is
not possible to improve reception, it is advisable to switch to FM mono.
5. Proceed in a similar manner if you wish to receive MW/AM stations. On this fre-
quency band all programmes are transmitted only in "mono".
Listening to Cassettes
Playing Cassettes
1. Push the function selector switch (23) to the TAPE position.
2. Press the STOP/EJECT button (16) in order to open the cassette compartment.
3. Insert an audiocassette into the compartment with the tape facing forwards and
the side you wish to listen to facing forwards (full reel on the left).
4. Press the PLAY button (13) in order to listen to the tape.
5. Playback can be stopped by pressing the STOP/EJECT button (16).
6. If necessary, wind the tape forwards or backwards by pressing the buttons.
F.FWD = forwards; REW = reverse (26/27).
When switching from one function to another, or in order to stop the cassette,
always press the STOP/EJECT button (16). This will prevent mechanical dama-
ge to the machine or the tape.
7. Pressing the STOP/EJECT (16) button again opens the door of the cassette
compartment.
8. In order to interrupt playback for a short time, press the PAUSE button (17).
Press the PAUSE button for a second time in order to continue playback.

Recording Cassettes
1. Insert an audiocassette with the side on which you wish to record facing for-
wards (full reel on the left). Ensure that the cassette is not copy-protected (the
copy protection tab on the top narrow side of the cassette must not have been
removed).
2. Select the source from which you wish to record with the function switch (23)
and then start playback from this source if necessary. The sound source which
you are listening to is the one from which the recording is made. The recording
level is controlled automatically.
Any changes to the sound and volume do not affect the recording.
3. Press the RECORD button (12). Recording now begins. All previous recordings
are automatically erased.
4. The recording can be interrupted briefly by pressing the PAUSE button (17), or
stopped with the STOP/EJECT button (16).
Playing CDs
Proceed as follows in order to listen to a CD:
1. Push the function selection switch (23) to the "CD" position.
2. In order to open the CD compartment (22), press the OPEN button.
3. Insert an audio CD with the printed side facing upwards onto the central cone
until the CD locks in place. Then close the lid of the CD compartment (22).
4. Within a few seconds the total number of songs/tracks is shown in the display
(9).
5. Playback begins automatically with the first track on the CD. The song currently
being played is shown in the display.
6. The desired volume can be set using the volume button (7).
Description of the CD Buttons:
PLAY/PAUSE (1): When pressed once, this button briefly interrupts playback. The
track number appears in the display.
SKIP DOWN (2): By pressing this button once you can jump to the previous track.
Hold this button down to start fast reverse search.
SKIP UP: By pressing this button once you can jump to the next track. Hold this
button down to start fast forward search.
STOP: The CD is stopped.
REPEAT:
Press once: The current song is repeated continually (a dot appears in the
display behind the track number).
Press twice: The entire CD is repeated continually (a DOT appears in the dis-
play behind the track number)
Press three times: The function is deactivated and the CD is played in the normal
mode.

MEMORY: With this button it is possible to programme any desired sequence of
tracks. Below you will find an example of how to programme the CD player. For
example you would like to store tracks 4 and 12.
•Press the STOP button (5).
•Track number 4: - Press MEMORY (6).
- Press the SKIP UP button (4)/SKIP DOWN button (2) in
order to select title no. 4.
- Press the REPEAT button (3).
•Track number 12: - Press the SKIP UP button (4)/SKIP DOWN button (2) in
order to select track no. 12.
•Press the PLAY button (1) in order to start playback.
If you would like to briefly interrupt the programme, press the PLAY/PAUSE button
(1). Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again in order to continue playback. In order to
delete the programming, press the STOP button (16).
MP3 CDs
This machine of is able to play MP3 CDs. Up to 200 tracks can be compressed and
stored on these CDs.Your machine detects an MP3 CD automatically. The sound
quality is therefore retained. If you would like to play one of these CDs, proceed as
described under "Playing CDs". It is possible to programme tracks in the same
manner as described in the example above.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always remove the mains plug before cleaning the machine.
Any marks on the surface can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth without any
additives.
This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression
and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements.

Słuchanie radia

Odtwarzanie kaset
1. Proszę przesun ć przeł cznik funkcyjny (23) na pozycję TAPE.
2. W celu otwarcia kieszeni kasetowej proszę nacisn ć przycisk STOP/EJ (16).
3. Proszę włożyć nagran kasetę audio do kieszeni taśm do przodu i
odsłuchiwan stron do przodu (pełna szpula z lewej strony).
4. Aby rozpocz ć odtwarzanie taśmy proszę nacisn ć przycisk play (13).

kasetowej.
8. Aby na krótko przerwać odtwarzanie proszę wcisn ć przycisk PAUSE (17).
Ponowne wciśnięcie przycisku umożliwia dalsze odtwarzanie.
Nagrywanie kaset
1. Proszę włożyć kasetę audio, stron nagrywan do przodu (pełna szpula z
lewej strony). Proszę się upewnić, że kaseta nie ma zabezpieczenia przed
kopiowaniem (bolec blokady w górnej węższej części kasety nie może być
wyłamany).
2. Przy pomocy przycisku funkcyjnego (23) proszę wybrać źródło nagrywania i
wł czyć je. Nagrywanie odbywa się ze źródła, które Państwo słyszycie.
Poziom nagrywania dostrajany jest automatycznie-. Zmiany dźwięku i siły
głosu nie zmieniaj jakości nagrania.
3. Proszę nacisn ć przycisk RECORD (12). Rozpoczyna się nagrywanie.
Wszystkie wcześniejsze nagrania zostaj automatycznie wykasowane.
4. Mog Państwo na krótko przerwać nagrywanie przy pomocy przycisku
PAUSE (17) lub zatrzymać je przy pomocy przycisku STOP/EJ (16).
Odtwarzanie CD
Odtwarzanie CD przebiega w sposób następujący:
1. Proszę przesun ć przeł cznik funkcyjny (23) na pozycję "CD".
2. Aby otworzyć kieszeń CD (22) proszę nacisn ć przycisk OPEN.
3.
Proszę włożyć CD audio na centralny stożek nadrukiem do góry w taki sposób,
aby dysk osiadł stabilnie. Następnie proszę zamkn ć kieszeń CD (22).
4. Po kilku sekundach na wskaźniku (9) pojawi się ł czna liczba utworów/
ścieżek muzycznych.
5. Odtwarzanie rozpoczyna się automatycznie od pierwszego utworu CD. W
trakcie odtwarzania wyświetlany jest numer aktualnego utworu.
6. Przy pomocy pokrętła siły głosu (7), mog Państwo ustawiać ż dan siłę
głosu.
Opis przycisków CD:
PLAY/PAUSE (1 ): jednorazowe naciśnięcie powoduje przerwanie odtwarzania.
Numer utworu na wyświetlaczu zaczyna migać.
