The powerful TeachCam®from ClearOne is a full-
motion, color camera, that produces sharp video
images with excellent color reproduction. Using
either an S-video or composite video connection, you
can easily present your video images on a variety of
video display devices such as TVs, plasma screens,
and projectors, or record your video on a VCR.
Connection to a computer requires a video capture
card or a USB adapter.
The Ultimate Teaching Tool
In addition to outstanding video images and clear
audio, the TeachCam features a built-in light source
at the base of the camera—the IllumaBase®
. The
IllumaBase gives the TeachCam the functionality of
a 35 mm slide projector and a microscope, making it
an invaluable resource for science classes, art
history classes and more. When the IllumaBase
is used with the included IllumaBoxes and
IllumaSlides, the TeachCam can display 35 mm
slides, specimen boxes and microscope slides. The
TeachCam also includes a microscope adapter kit
with 26 mm, 28 mm and 34 mm couplers for easy
connection to most industry standard microscopes.
The TeachCam’s 27" flexible gooseneck with swivel
camera head is ideal for users of all ages, making it
easy to position the camera for accurate image
capture and display. And the camera’s six-button
keypad provides simple control of image settings.
With its built-in microphone and amplifier, the
TeachCam is well equipped to capture and transmit
audio for recorded demonstrations or presentations.
This audio capability also makes the TeachCam a
great choice for videoconferencing.
