0 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations for buying a Climastar system. You have chosen a unique patented heating system, an innovative
technology with an exclusive design that fits perfectly in your home.
Our heating system pleasantly warms all the air in the room. Via natural convection and radiation the heat is
transmitted rapidly and homogeneously, ensuring maximum comfort.
In addition, thanks to the Climastar team, it uses DUAL KHERR as an element and storage heater. Due to its optimal
balance between thermal inertia and ability to maintain the temperature, it prevents that feeling of heat loss in the
atmosphere that other equipment have when switching off.
Our equipment guarantees electrical safety, thermal behaviour, electromagnetic compatibility and offers protection
against accidental contact with low voltage parts and penetration of water or liquids in electrically active areas. In
other words, it has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the standard EN60335-1
for electrical safety of household equipment.
Therefore, our heating system combines all the benefits and functions present in this manual. You will also have the
opportunity to add new benefits with the optional equipment available.
We at Climastar thank you for all the confidence you have placed in our heating system, and hope that you will be
satisfied with the results.
1 GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 GENERAL ADVICE
Before discussing the location of the heating equipment, we ask you to take a few minutes to carefully read the
service instructions. The dual kherr radiator guarantee will be invalidated if any damage or poor performance results
from incorrect use of the equipment.
Read all instructions before using this heater
The equipment must only be used for heating.
A well proportioned and thermally insulated room will guarantee that the heating system provides sufficient
heat for your complete satisfaction.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by errors in the positioning and use of the
apparatus or non-observance of the instructions provided.
The manufacturer reserves the right to modify the product and relevant technical documentation without
incurring any obligation to third parties.
Installation in the home must conform to current Low Voltage Electrical Equipment Regulations.
See recommendations for use in section 7.
1.2 SAFETY WARNINGS
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Do not cover the etna portable heater with fabrics, curtains, furniture or other combustible material.
Note: The equipment comes with a warning sticker indicating the above which the user can remove when
considered appropriate.
Do not use the etna portable heater to dry clothing.
The equipment operates by the entry of cold air in the lower part of the apparatus and the exit of hot air via
the grill in the upper part. For it to work correctly, the grills must not be covered or obstructed.
The immediate surroundings of the equipment must be kept clean of dust and waste. This will prevent stains
appearing on the wall near the equipment. ETNA radiators do not contain any fuel in their interior so any
appearance of stains is always due to environmental factors.

When the equipment is working, its outer surface is hot so children must be kept away from the radiator.
Any operation inside the equipment for its repair, maintenance, transfer, etc. must always be performed by a
professional electrician and with the apparatus disconnected.
It is not necessary to earth (electrically isolate) the equipment, as it is Class II.
If the connecting tube deteriorates or is in a poor state, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician,
manufacturer or technical service.
This heater is hot when used, To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
Keep combustible materials at least a 2m from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
Extreme caution is necessary when the heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the
heater is left operating and unattended.
Always keep the heater unplugged if its not going to be used.
Do not operate the heater if the cord or the plug are damaged or after the heater malfunctions, has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to an authorized service facility for examination.
Do not use the heater outdoor.
Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or a water container
Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar coverings. Arrange
cover away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
To disconnect the heater, turn controls off and then unplug.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric
shock or fire or damage the heater.
To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use it in soft surfaces,
like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
A heater has hot and arcing parts inside. Do not use it areas where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are
used or stored.
Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended as it may cause electric
shock or injuries to persons.
Avoid the use of an extension cord as it may overheat and cause risk of a fire.
1.3 MANUFACTURER
For any communication related to the equipment purchased, we recommend you always provide the following data:
Serial number (the plate with the equipment details is located on one side. It contains the serial number of the
apparatus and its technical characteristics.)
Date of acquisition
Details of the problem
Original spare parts are recommended when replacing equipment parts. The manufacturer will not be responsible for
any deterioration in performance or damage caused to the equipment by the use of spare parts which are not original.

2 BEFORE CONNECTING YOUR EQUIPMENT
Before connecting the equipment to the mains, make sure the control receiver makes good contact.
To do so, push it towards the interior of the equipment.

Make sure the supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the instrument details plate (located on the left
side of the equipment)
Connection to the mains is carried out using the card or plug supplied with the mains cable.
The equipment must not be placed in areas with a risk of explosion or fire. For example: fuel, oil or gas
storage areas, etc.
The supply cables for this or any other equipment must not be placed in contact with the surface of the
apparatus.
If the radiator has been located in the kitchen or bathroom, it must be placed so that the controls cannot be
operated by anyone in contact with water, whether in the bath or the shower.

If you wish to roll the cord, please use the plate placed in the lateral panel of the heater.

4.1 HUMIDIFIER

Humidification that allows you enjoy the ideal temperature without
feeling dry or suffering other typical problems of heating in
general.
To install it, insert the flaps in the slots situated on the left side of
the equipment cover.

5 RECOMMENDATIONS OF USE
The Climastar range of heating products needs no maintenance. Only certain preventive measures may be
necessary:
Do not cover the air exits. Do not place clothing over them.
Keep floors clean to avoid staining on the wall.
At the start of each heating season, vacuum the interior of the equipment. After being switched off for some
time, dust may accumulate on the element.
Do not place the equipment under a ventilation grill or near any location that may generate a draught.
Install the equipment so that nothing prevents the circulation of air generated (furniture, curtains, etc).
Otherwise, a loss of temperature control or performance may be found.
To prevent loss of heat and therefore wasting electricity, if possible improve insulation of the windows with
draught excluders, double glazing or thermal breaks.
The DUAL KHERR can be cleaned with a damp cloth, alcohol or even nitric acid (for difficult stains). Due to
its durability, it will not be degraded by the use of any type of substance (Standards EN 99 and EN 202).
Also, thanks to its composition, direct sunlight can shine directly on the equipment without altering its
appearance (Standard EN 51094).
The equipment cover can be cleaned with a damp cloth or with any type of conventional cleaning product.
If you wish to roll the cable, please use the plate in the lateral panel of the heater.

LIMITED GUARANTEE STATEMENT
(Enforceable in countries where the products are sold)
CLIMASTAR GLOBAL COMPANY S.L. guarantees that on first purchase this product is free of material and labour
defects (limited guarantee). This limited Guarantee has duration of two years as from the date of purchase, unless
agreement of longer period, in accordance with the following conditions:
1) To obtain service under the terms of this guarantee it is important to provide the following details:
purchasing date, as guarantee´s validity period starts from purchase´s invoice date.
2) This guarantee covers eventual damages or faults come either from production or from the device´s inner
components, always providing that such damages were probed to have been caused ex-factory.
3) This guarantee is strictly limited to repairs of faulty piece/s at facility, or to the complete device´s
replacement when there is not a suitable mending, according to the manufacturer consideration.
4) This guarantee excludes damages and/or incorrect operation caused by accidents, incorrect use of the
system, negligence, wear, breakage, incorrect installation and an incorrect electrical supply to the system.
This guarantee will also be cancelled if the product is used for any other purpose other than heating, and
due to unauthorised alteration, modification, repair of the product and other external causes that affect the
product after delivery.
5) No systems will be returned to CLIMASTAR without a codified (official) GOODS RETURN AUTHORISATION.
CLIMASTAR accepts no responsibility in the event that any system is returned without the prior authorised
GOODS RETURN slip.
6) CLIMASTAR and/or its agents reserve the right to decide between repairing or replacing the damaged
components or replacing the entire system as a whole. None of these options will extend the initial
guarantee period. The withdrawal of the aforementioned system will immediately cancel the guarantee.
7) Any claims under the terms of this guarantee must be made inside the guarantee period.
8) All repairs must be carried out by the Technical Service authorised by the manufacturer and/or its agents,
any work carried out by unauthorised staff will cancel the specifications of this guarantee. In the event of
replacement, the customer must go to the sales centre responsible for receiving the systems.
9) LIMITS ON RESPONSIBILITY: CLIMASTAR, will not be responsible neither for material nor for personal
damages which could directly or indirectly have been caused by an improper installation of the device or
for its incorrect use as well as for being manipulated by not qualified staff.
10) None of these conditions can be extended or modified in any place without express consent from
CLIMASTAR
