instructions on how to properly assemble your equipment.

INTENDED USE. Clinton Lab X Series, Padded, Bariatric,
Blood Drawing Chairs, are specifically designed and
engineered for phlebotomy use only. Persons using the chairs
should be observed by trained medical personnel while in the
chairs and exiting the chairs. Never leave anyone in the chairs
unattended. Combination of weight and force exerted on the
chairs is not to exceed a total of 700 lbs. Using this equipment
for unintended purposes could result in damage to the
equipment and serious injury.

NOTE: Although alternate arm choices are available, these instructions are specifically intended for chairs
with either padded or ClintonClean™ straight flip arms and armrests. Other arms may ship and install
differently, call Clinton for specific assembly questions on alternate arm selections.

Align the holes on the backrest with the holes
on the chair frame and insert a 2 " pan head bolt
through each of the hollow tubes on the chair
frame. Place one washer on the nut side each of the
2 " bolts from the pervious step. Secure the frame
and backrest by tightening the K-Nuts with a Phillips
screwdriver and a 7/16 " wrench.
Gently rest the chair frame on a clean protected
area. Slide the chair backrest into the hollow
tubes in the chair frame.
3(For all models) Remove the arm post(s) from
the chair frame and attach the elbow pad/rest
to the arm post using pan head bolts and
washers.
For models with padded elbow pad use two (2) 2" pan
head bolts and two (2) washers to attach each elbow
pad.
For models with ClintonClean™arms use two (2) 1-3/4"
pan head bolts and two (2) washers to attach each
elbow pad.
Be sure to properly align the pad and post as shown below.
(NOTE: The padded elbow rest is engineered for right or left flip
arms. For a left flip arm, (from the front) use the set of holes on
the right side of the inverted pad. Conversely, for a right hand
flip arm use the holes on the left side when the pad is inverted.
(Holes should face the front of the arm.)
ClintonClean™ elbow rests are universal and hove only one set
of holes.

Slide the flip arm(s) on to the arm post. Insert
the 1-3/4" hex bolt through the hole at the end
of the arm post. Using a socket wrench and
7/16 " wrench, secure the 1-3/4" bolt with the Nyloc nut.
If not already attached, install the adjustment
handle and tighten until the handle is parallel to
the floor.
FOR SAFETY PURPOSES, TAKE TIME TO CHECK ALL SCREWS,
BOLTS AND NUTS TO INSURE THAT THEY ARE SECURELY
TIGHTENED AND THAT THE CHAIR HAS BEEN PROPERLY
ASSEMBLED ACCORDING TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Clinton Industries warrants manufactured products to be free of defects in materials, workmanship or design under normal use
for five years on all products, from the date of purchase. This warranty does not include damage resulting from accident, abuse
or misuse, alteration, or negligence of the product and expressly excludes normal wear of parts (including but not
limited to vinyl). Contact Clinton for full warranty details.
Warranty
Clinton products are built to be durable. With proper care, your Clinton equipment will provide years of superior looks and per-
formance. Before using any cleaning agents, try them on a small inconspicuous area to insure that they will not harm the any
surface. Damage from cleaning is not covered under the warranty. Do not use alcohol based cleaning agents. Periodically
check that all fasteners are secure and operating properly.

6Attach the completed right arm post and the left
arm post to chair frame by using the black star
knobs.
(For models with a drawer) Remove plastic
drawer from drawer box. Slide the flat metal top
of the post in the slot on the side of the drawer
box and attach the drawer box to the right arm post using
four (4) 3/4" pan head bolts and four washers.
Re-insert the plastic drawer.
