TheCloudCuddleJuniorisaninatable‘bedtent’whichpreventspeoplefromfallingoutof
bedorclimbingoutofbedunintenonally.Itquicklytransformsastandard1-personbed+
maressintoasafeplacetosleep.TheCloudCuddlewasdevelopedforoccasionaluseand
notforpermanentuse.ParentsandcarersusetheCloudCuddle*forvariouspurposes:
• Stayingwithfamilyandfriendsrespijtzorg

• Extrasleepingfacilityinstuon

TheCloudCuddleoerssafetyandprovidesasenseofsecurity.Thetransparentnetensures
opencommunicaon.TheCloudCuddleisresistanttoheavyimpact,absorbsallblows,and
absorbsboththeimpactandthesound.Thismanualisfullyapplicableregardlessofthe
colouroftheCloudCuddle.
B. Safety Warnings
• Readthemanualcompletelybeforeusingfortherstme.
• InstalltheCloudCuddleatleast3hourspriorbeforeeveryuse.
• Rigid frame: TheCloudCuddlemustalwaysbewellinated.Youwillthennolongerbe
abletopresstheframe.Checkthiseveryday.UsethepumpsuppliedbyCloudCuddle
andPump30-35fullstrokesunlnomoreaircanbeadded.Thiswayyousafelyreach
thedesiredpressure(0,45bar).Neveruseanelectricpump.
• Bed rails and cot beds:NeverplacetheCloudCuddleinacotbedorwedgedbetween
bedrails.Itmusthaveplentyofroomtoassumeitsouterdimensions(200(l)x110(w)x
105(h)).IfaCloudCuddleissandwiched,toomuchpressurewillbeexertedontheseams
oftheinatableframe.Thesecanthereforewearoutprematurely,causingtheframeto
tear,aerwhichtheairisreleasedunderpressure.
• Clips: makesuretheclipsatthetopoftheinatableframearealwaysclosed.Onlyopen
themwhendeangtheframeorwhenyouhavetoaddsomeair.
• Bedframe:Thebasewillneverbemorethan50cmabovetheoor.Whenusedin
combinaonwithahigh-lowbed,thebedbasemustthereforebeloweredaercare
hasbeenprovided.Thebedframemustweighatleast20kg.Thispreventstheframe,
includingtheCloudCuddle,fromtopplingoverwhensomeonedropstheirfullweight
againstit.Doyouhavealightweightbedframe?Ifso,placethemaressontheground.
• Check cover: Checkallpartsofthecoverforanydefectsand-ifnecessary–havethem
repairedbyus.

I. INTRODUCTION
•Zip in sheet:AlwaysusetheCloudCuddlewithazip-insheet.Withoutthissheet,onecan
crawlbetweenthemaresscoverandthebedframe.
•Sharp objects and re:DonotplacetheCloudCuddlenexttohardorsharpobjectsorin
thevicinityofre.KeepsharpobjectsortoyswithsharpedgesoutoftheCloudCuddle.
•Pets:KeeppetsawayfromtheCloudCuddleinordertopreventdamage.
• Temperature of the CloudCuddle frame:TheCloudCuddleframemustneverbeexposed
totemperaturesinexcessof50degreesCelsius.Thisriskisparcularlypresentwhenthe
CloudCuddleisplacedinacarwhichisexposedtothefullsun.Thetemperaturecanthen
risefarabovethisvalue.
• Maress dimensions:TheCloudCuddlewasdevelopedformaressesof200x90x16-
26cm.Donotuseanyothermaresssize.
• Outer dimensions:TheCloudCuddlemuststandfreelyonabedandmaynotbewedged
betweenbedrailsorhaveitsheightimpairedby,forexample,alowceiling.
• Air maress: DonotusetheCloudCuddleincombinaonwithanairmaress.
•Buckles:Allbucklesonthestrapsareclosed.Bothofthestrapsareunderthe
maress,thisthenstrapsonthebedframe.
•Bed frame straps:ThestrapswhichsecureCloudCuddletothebedframeare
fullytensionedandcannotslip.Whenindoubt,werecommendthatyouplace
themaressonthegroundwiththeCloudCuddlearoundit.
•Zippers:Allzippersareclosed,inbothframecoverandthetransparentmesh.
• Runners and pullers of the mesh zipper:Makesurethattherunnersareclosetoeach
otherwiththepullersatagainstthezip.Thisway,thezipisinhibitedandinprinciple
cannotbeopenedfromtheinside.
• Frame zippers and strings: Thewhitestringsmustalwaysbeaachedandallzippers(8x)
mustbeclosed (see p. 6 Fig A and B)
• NeverallowanyonetoremainunaendedoutsideoftheCloudCuddle.

A. Install CloudCuddle
1. TaketheCloudCuddleoutofthebagandunrollonthemaress.
2. Openthetubecoveramdcheckiftheframezipsareclosed(gure A and B). Always
dothischeckwhenthetubesareempty.Neveropentheframezipperswhenthe
tubesareinated.
3. Fastentheboomside(theso-calledmaresscoverincludingtheedsheet)like
aedsheetaroundthemaress (photo 17).Thecornersmustsitwellaroundthe
cornersofthemaress.
4. Tiltthemaresstoaachthestrapsunderthemaress.Thestrapsareprovided
withclickbuckles(photo 18).Tightenthestrapsbypullingthelooseend(protruding
fromthesnapbuckle).
5. InatetheCloudCuddleaccordingtotheinaoninstrucons (see p.5).
6. THISSTEPONLYAPPLIESWHENUSINGONABEDFRAME.Eachcornerofthe
CloudCuddlecontainsastrapwithasnapbuckle.Aachthestrapstothebedframe
andclickthebuckles.Tightenthestrapssothattheycannotmove(photo 19).
7. EnsurethattheCloudCuddlehasenoughspacetoaccommodateitsouter
dimensions(200(l)x110(w)x105(h).IfaCloudCuddleiscompressed,toomuch
pressurewillbeexertedontheseamsoftheframe(gure C).Thesecantherefore
wearoutprematurely,causingtheframetotear,aerwhichtheairisreleased
underpressure.Theheightof105cmhasbeencalculatedwithamaressthatis
16cmthick.ThelegsoftheCloudCuddlemustbeabletostandfreelynexttoa90
cmmaress,onatotalwidthof110cm.Theythenprotrudeslightlyfromthebed
frame.Donotpushtheminwards(gure D).Doyouhaveahigh-lowbedwithbed
rails?Makesurethatthesiderailsaredown.Thereshouldbenoinwardprotruding
elementsattheheadorfootendofthebedandthedistancebetweenheadboard
andfootbaordshouldbeatleast200cm.

V. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Washatatemperatureof60°C.
• Useastandardwashprogrammewithspin.
• Donotuseshortenedwashprogrammes.
Ifdisinfeconisnotrequired,werecommendalowertemperatureinordertopreservethe
fabrics.
B. General
• Detergent:Alldetergentswhicharesuitableforthecleaningofclothingandlinenis
suitableforwashingtheCloudCuddlecoverandsheet.
• Thesheetcanbeunzippedandwashedseparately.
• Theinatableframemaynotbemachine-washed.
• Thesheetandcovercanbothbewashedat60degreesforreasonsofhygiene.We
recommendalowertemperaturetopreservethefabrics.
• Pleasenotethatthebluefabricsmaytransfercolourslightlytothewhitefabrics.The
higherthetemperatureatwhichthecoveriswashed,themorecolourwillruboonto
thefabric.
• Thesheetcanbeputinthedryer,therestofthecovercannotbeputinthedryer.For
durability,itisbesttodrythesheetcoldoronaclothesline.
C. Washing The Sheet
Bothforunzippingandforzippingin,youdonotneedtodeatetheCloudCuddleor
removeitcompletelyfromthemaress.ItisessenalforthesafetyoftheCloudCuddle
thatallfabricsareasghtaspossible.Asaresult,theCloudCuddlerequiressomeroomto
maneuver,parcularlywhenzippingin,asdescribedbelow.
Unzipping:
• Makesurethere’sroomtomaneuvertheCloudCuddle.Loosenthestrapswhich
aachestheCloudCuddletotheframe.ThenparallyslidetheCloudCuddleothe
maress(photo 28).
• Placeyourhandbetweenthemaressandthesheetattheboomofthe
CloudCuddle.Thisiswheretheloopofthesheetzipislocated(photo 29).
• Pullthezipopenunltheapisvisiblefromthetop,thenunzipthesheetcompletely
fromthetop.

1. BeforetheFirtsUse
• TherstmethatyouinstalltheCloudCuddle,theinatableframemustsll‘set’in
thesleeve.Itispossiblethatoneofthelegsistwisted.Ifnecessary,pleaseadjustthis
slightlyandpullthesleeveghtlyaroundit.Ifnecessary,givethecoversomeroomby
releasingsomeairandthenaddingitagain..
• Inordertomakethesituaonmorefamiliarforyourchild,youcanwashthesheetor
theenreCloudCuddlecoverinadvancesothatithasarecognizablesmell.Remember
thatyoumustrstremovetheinatabletubes.Theseshouldnotbemachine
washed!
• WerecommendthatyoursttryouttheCloudCuddleforafewnightsathomebefore
takingitonholiday.
2. BeforeEachUse
• AlwaysinatetheCloudCuddlethreehourspriortoeachuse,tocheckthatitissllin
goodcondion.Forexample,checkingthatitwillnotdeate.
• Checkallfabrics,straps,zips,seamsandbucklesfordamage.
3. MakeuseofthepossibilitytotesttheCloudCuddleinadvance.Thiswillprovideagood
ideaofwhetheritisasuitableaidinyoursituaon.

VII. TROUBLESHOOTING
• DoestheCloudCuddleslowlydeate?Firstcheckwhetherthevalvehasbeen
properlyclosed.Boththevalvering(rearknurledring)andthecapmaynotallowair
topassthrough.
• Doesoneofthetubesnotinateduringpumping/deateduringdismantling?First
checkwhetherthetubeclips(attheinterseconoftheinatabletubes)areopen.
• Hasthenenggotstuckinthezipper?Slowlyslidethezipupwardsandcarefully
removethenengfromthezip.
• DoestheCloudCuddlenottinthebag?Thentrytorollmoreairoutofthetubes.
Checkwhetherthetubeclipsandthevalveareopen.
• CantheCloudCuddlebeopenedfromtheinside?Makesurethattheziprunnersare
closetogetherandthatthepullersareatagainstthezip.Thebestposionforthe
pullsisinthemiddle(see p.6).
• Issomethingdamagedorbroken?Pleasecontactyourresellerassoonaspossible.
• DotheCloudCuddle’slegsbendwhenyourchildliesagainstthemesh?Thenthe
CloudCuddleisnotinatedhardenough.Checkthepressure.Werecommenda
pressureof0.45bar.Youwillthennolongerbeabletopressthetubes.
Zippingin:
• EnsurethattheCloudCuddlehasroomtomaneuveratthecornersbylooseningthe
strapsatthecorners,parallyslidingtheCloudCuddleothemaress.Youcanthen
makethebendwiththezipmucheasier.
• Thenfoldthecoveraroundthecornerofthemaressateverycornerandreaachthe
tensioningstrap.
• Zipupthelastseconbyinserngyourhandbetweenthemaressandsheet,justas
youdidwhenunzipping.
D. Washing Complete Cover
1. DismantletheCloudCuddleasdescribedinchapterIV.
2. Openthecoverandtakeouttheframe(photo 30).
3. Closeallzippersandbucklesbeforepungthecoverinthewashingmachine.
4. Asforthesheets,weadvisetowashthecoveratthelowestpossibletemperature.If
neededyoucanwashitat60degrees.Pleasenotethatthebluefabricsmayslightly
transfercolourtothewhitefabrics.
5. TheCloudCuddle-covermaynotbeputinthedryer.
E. Replace Frame in Cover
1. Replaceheframeinthecoverassoonasitisdryagain.
2. Openthezippersofthetube-coverandreplacethetubesonebyoneinthecover.Start
wherethevalveis.Puttheboomofthetubeallthewaydownintotheboomofthe
whitesock,(photo 31)andzipupthecover.Dothissuccessfullyforallfourlegs.
