• Before commencing the installation ensure the mains supply to the Wi fi switch spur is switched off and
the circuit supply fuses are removed or the circuit breaker Locked off.
• This unit should be fitted by a qualified electrician adhering to the local regulations and guidance
covering the installation.
• The spur is designed to fit a 1gang 25mm deep (min) back box
• The unit can be used as part of a ring main and can accept 2 x 2.5mm T&E conductors per terminal.
• An earth loop through connector is supplied if required.
• If the unit is installed in a metal back box, earthing to the back box is required.
• Connect the supply to terminals marked L IN (brown/red cable) & N IN (blue/black cable)
• Connect the load to L out & N out.
• The load cable can be fed through the cable exit and secured with cable Clamp
• You are advised at every stage of the installation to double check all electrical connections you have
made. After completing the t installation there are electrical test that should be carried out and
specified in the wiring Regulations BS7671.
Operation
• This is a very simple app to programme and to control the fused Spur from anywhere via the internet.
• You will need to down load the TUYASMART app on to you phone or tablet.
• You will then need to register by following the instructions on the screen, select the icon
• You will need to power up the switched spur as close to the router and mobile/tablet press the round
reset button for 5 seconds and confirm the blue indicator is rapidly blinking.
• (Complete pairing process within 3 minutes after device reset)
• Enter your wi-fi password and the process of pairing and connecting will take place, once connected
you can personalise the name and icon of your device from your album or take a photo.
Power button
• Turn power on or off by pressing power button on screen
The device can be programmed by selecting time button
• You can set scheduled times by selecting timer button and then press Add. This allows you to set
the on time and then an option if you want it to repeat daily and select “ON” and press save.
• Then press add schedule and enter OFF time and repeat daily if required and select “OFF”
and press save.peat as above as required if more scheduled times are required for daily or
weekend operation.
• Just select start hour and minuets for counting down.

Connect to Alexa or Google Assistant
• Open the Alexa app/or google assistant
• Open more and select Add a Device
• Select the type of smart home device you want to connect
• Select the brand and follow the on-screen instructions
