Assembly Instructions –15” Battery Pace Clock
1. Remove protective film from the lens.
2. Check the On/Off switch located on the top of the clock to see that it is
operating properly. The clock may be turned on and off only. There is no
automatic reset.
3. The second hand may be reset manually by opening the back cover plate and
turning the small dial located on the battery motor housing.
4. If, after testing the On/Off switch, the clock is not working, check to see that
the On/Off connector is properly and firmly seated between the battery and
negative-side clip. (Image A)

Assembly Instructions –Minute Hands
1. Align oval hole on minute hand with oval on shaft of motor and push minute
hand on to shaft. (Image B)
2. Apply knurled nut on to threaded oblong shaft and gently tighten with
pliers until snug. (Image C)
Assembly Instructions –Second Hands
1. The second hand is pre-mounted on a brass fitting.
2. Slide the perpendicular shaft that extends down from the second hand over
the motor shaft.
3. Gently, but firmly, press the hand down on to the shaft. (Image D)
4. Turn motor on to make sure minute hand and second hand do not strike each
other.
5. If they do strike each other upon passing then gently bend hands in opposite
directions until clearance is achieved. Bend as close to the motor shaft as
possible.
