SÈCHE-CHEVEUX BITENSION
En Amérique du Nord, le sélecteur de ten-
sion doit ietre réglé sur 125V. Dans plusieurs
pays outremer, le sélecteur doit être placé sur
250V. Vérifiez la tension du secteur où vous
êtes avant d’utiliser le sèche-cheveux. Pour le
branchement sur un secteur 220-250 volts,
utilisez l’adaptateur de fiche approprié, en
fonction du type de prise de courant.
Secteur 110-125 volts
Régler le sélecteur de tension sur 125V. À
cette position, le sèche-cheveux peut être ré-
glé à toute vitesse et toute chaleur.
Secteur 220-250 volts
Régler le sélecteur de tension sur 250. À cette
position, le sèche-cheveux peut être réglé à
toute vitesse et toute chaleur. Sur un secteur
220-250 volts, ne régler le sélecteur sur 125.
Certains pays demanderont l’utilisation d’un
adaptateur de prise de courant.
ENTRETIEN PAR
L’UTILISATEUR
Le sèche-cheveux ne demande pratiquement
aucun entretien. Pour assurer un bon fonc-
tionnement, le sèche-cheveux doit être tenu
propre. Si vous devez le nettoyer, débranchez-
le, puis enlevez la poussière ou les peluches
des évents avec la petite brosse d’un aspira-
teur. La surface extérieure du sèche-cheveux
ne devrait qu’être essuyée avec un linge hu-
mide.
Des évents bloqués ou bouchés feront su
chauffer le sèche-cheveux.
S’il y a surchauffage, un dispositif automa-
tique de sécurité éteindra le sèche-cheveux ou
coupera la chaleur pour éviter des dommages
ou des blessures. Si cela se produit, débran-
chez le cordon et laissez le sèche-cheveux re-
froidir 10 à 15 minutes avant de le remettre
en marche. Assurez-vous que les évents sont
propres.
MISE EN GARDE
Ne JAMAIS tirer, tordre ni plier fortement le
cordon. Ne jamais enrouler le cordon autour
du sèche-cheveux. On risque de l’endommager
au point d’entrée dans le sèche-cheveux,
occasionnant ainsi un bris ou un court-
circuit. Cesser d’utiliser le sèche-cheveux
s’il fonctionne mal ou de façon intermit-
tente. Si le cordon ou le sèche-cheveux est
endommagé ou ne fonctionne pas
correctement, le renvoyer au service agrée
Conair où on le réparera. Le consommateur ne
devrait jamais tenter de le réparer lui-même.
RANGEMENT - Important
Quand on ne l’utilise pas, débrancher le sèche-
cheveux et le ranger en lieu sûr et sec, hors
de la portée des enfants. Ne pas enrouler le
cordon autour du sèche-cheveux. Le laisser
pendre ou reposer lâchement, bien droit au
point de sortie du sèche-cheveux.
GARANTIE LIMITÉE DE DEUX ANS
Conair, à son choix, réparera ou remplacera
le produit sans frais au cours des 24 mois
suivant la date d’achat, si le produit affiche un
vice de matière ou de fabrication.
Pour obtenir un service au titre de la garan-
tie, retournez le produit défectueux au service
après-vente indiquée ci-dessous, accompagné
du bon de caisse et de 7,50 $ pour les frais de
poste et administratifs. En l’absence du bon
de caisse, la période de garantie sera de 24
mois à compter de la date de fabrication.

FOR DUAL-VOLTAGE DRYERS
For use in North America, the voltage selector
switch should be placed in the 125V position.
For use in several countries overseas, the volt-
age selector may need to be placed in the 250V
position. Confirm the voltage available at each
overseas location before using the appliance.
For connection to a 220-250-volt supply, use
an attachment plug adapter of the proper con-
figuration for the power supply.
For 110-125 Volt Operation
Flick the dual voltage switch to the 125V
position. In this position, the dryer has two
settings. It provides two speeds and two
heats—low speed and low heat on LOW and
high speed and high heat on HIGH.
For 220-250 Volt Operation
FlicktheDualvoltageswitchtothe250position.
In this position, the dryer has two settings. It

when operating on 220-250V. A plug adapter

USER
MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance-free. No
lubrication is needed. For proper operat-
ing performance, the dryer must be kept
clean. When cleaning is needed, unplug the
cord, and clean dust and lint from air intake
openings with a small brush or the brush
attachment of a vacuum cleaner. The outer
surface of the dryer should be wiped clean
with a cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will
cause the dryer to overheat.
If overheating occurs, an automatic safety de-
vice will shut the dryer or the heat off to pre-
vent damage or personal injury. If the unit or
the heat cycles off, unplug the cord and allow
the dryer to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before
restarting. Make sure the air vents are clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap
the cord tightly around the dryer. Damage will
occur at the high flex point of entry into the
dryer, causing it to rupture and short. Inspect
the cord frequently for damage. Stop use im-
mediately if damage is visible or unit stops
or operates intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is damaged or does not
operate properly, return it for repair
to an authorized Conair service representative
only. No repairs should be attempted by the
consumer.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your dryer should be discon-
nected and stored in a safe, dry location, out
of reach of children. Do not wrap line cord
around dryer. Allow the cord to hang or lie
loose and straight at the point of entry into the
dryer.
LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your
appliance free of charge for 24 months
from the date of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.

the defective product to the service centre
listed below together with your sales slip
and $7.50 for postage and handling. In the
