How to Use the
Natura®Low-Pressure Adaptor
Applying the System
Apply the Natura®Low-Pressure
Adaptor to the ski barrier:
Note: When removing the skin
barrier from the package, DO NOT
remove the clear release liner on the
circular a hesive or the white
release paper from the flexible fabric
collar.
Attach the Natura®Low-Pressure
A aptor to the ConvaTec Mol able
Technology™skin barrier by aligning
the coupling ring flange on the skin
barrier with the coupling ring on the
a aptor. Press the two coupling
rings together, beginning at the
bottom. Follow the e ge of the rings
with your fingers, snapping the rings
together. Several “clicks” may be
hear .
Note: To avoi confusion upon
removal of the pouch from the
Natura®Low-Pressure A apator,
place the tab of the Natura®Low-
Pressure A aptor own at the 6
o’clock position.
Prepare a d customize the ski
barrier:
Place your thumbs or fingers at the
center of the starter hole an begin
to roll back the a hesive to form an
opening that fits the size an shape
of the stoma. The a hesive shoul
roll back easily. It is important to not
stretch the a hesive.
As you shape an roll back the a -
hesive, perio ically place the Conva-
Tec Mol able Technology™skin
barrier over the stoma, so it can be
viewe through the clear release
liner win ow. Once the skin barrier is
accurately mol e to the shape an
size of the stoma, procee to the
next step.
Note: The use of scissors with a
mol able pro uct is not recom-
men e .

Remove the clear release liner from
the ConvaTec Mol able Technology™
skin barrier. Imme iately apply the
skin barrier, centering the opening
over the stoma.
Press the skin barrier into place. The
rolle a hesive shoul be a juste to
the stoma to create a snug fit
between the a hesive an the
stoma. Press own on the rolle
a hesive along the entire outsi e of
the stoma to ensure a goo seal.
Then, hol the a hesive in place for
at least 30 secon s to secure the
skin barrier to the skin. Remove the
white paper from the back of the
hy rocolloi fabric collar an press it
against the skin, smoothing out any
wrinkles.
4Note: To begin, allow a small
amount of air into the pouch by
gently expan ing it.
Align the flange coupling ring on
the Natura®pouch with the flange
coupling ring on the Natura®Low-
Pressure A aptor. Press the two
rings together, beginning at the
bottom an circling aroun to the
top. Several “clicks” may be hear .
Gently tug on the pouch to be sure
the two pieces are securely con-
necte . To remove the pouch from
the Low-Pressure A aptor, use the
“Pinch an Pull” technique. Pinch
the rim of the Low-Pressure A ap-
tor with one han an pull on the
pouch tab with the other han to
separate them.
Note: Do not remove the Natura®
Low-Pressure A aptor from the
skin barrier when removing the
pouch.

Roll or fol up the tail closure four
times an press the interlocking
closures together. You may hear a
soft “click” when you lock them
into place. Wrap the security flap
over the fol e tail an press own
to secure.
