Software Installation
Install the Microsoft DirectX 9
•Microsoft DirectX 9 must be i stalled o your operati g system, please i stall Microsoft
DirectX 9 from Driver CD first. (If you already have Microsoft DirectX 9 i stalled,
it’s ot ecessary.)
Install the Driver of USB Video Capture Stick Pro
•Windo s XP
Step 1:Please plug the USB Video Capture Stick Pro i to the USB port of PC, the the
followi g dialog “Found Ne Hard are Wizard” will appear. Please select “No, not this time”,
a d click the “Next” butto .
Step 2:Please select “Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]”, then click
the “Next” button.
Step 3:Please select “Included this location in the search” and click “Browse”
button to choose your CD ROM and select the BDA32 or BDA 4 folder. Click “Next”
to install..

NOTE:If your system type of PC is 32bits, please select the BDA32 folder to install.
If your system type of PC is 64bits, please select the BDA64 folder to install.
Step 4:Please click the “Finish” button to finish and close the dialog.
Step :Please check the “Device Manager”, if the device driver has been install
correctly, there should be a “AV USB 2.0 PRO” display under “Sound, video and
game controllers”.

•Windows Vista
Step 1:Please plug the USB Video Capture Stick Pro i to the USB port of PC, the the
followi g dialog “Found Ne Hard are” will appear. Please click “Locate and install driver
soft are (recommended)”.
Step 2:Please click “Don’t search online”, then click “I don’t have the disc. Show
me other option.” and click “Next”.
Step 3:Please click “Browse my computer for driver software (advanced)”, then
click “Browser” to choose your CD ROM and select the BDA32 or BDA 4 folder.
Click “Next” to install.
NOTE:If your system type of PC is 32bits, please select the BDA32 folder to install.
If your system type of PC is 64bits, please select the BDA64 folder to install.
Step 4:Please click “Close” to close the dialog box, then check the “Device
Manager”, if the device driver has been install correctly, there should be a “AV USB
2.0 PRO” display under “Sound, video and game controllers”.

Install the CyberLink Po erDirector
I sert the CD provided i to the CD ROM driver o your PC, the click Setup a d follow the o
scree i structio s to i stall the CyberLi k PowerDirector o your PC.

NOTE:Please co firm you have successfully co ected your video device to the USB Video
Capture Stick Pro, a d the USB Video Capture Stick Pro has already co ected to
USB port of PC.
Step 1:Click the Cyberli k Power Director Ico o your desktop to lau ch the CyberLi k
PowerDirector.
Step 2:The first time you ru the PowerDirector, the “Activation” dialog box will appear. Please
e ter the CD-key, the click “Next”. (You CD-Key ca be fou d o the CD cover.)
Step 3:After the PowerDirector is lau ched, please click the “Capture” butto to
e ter the capture mode, a d the PowerDirector will detect the USB Video Capture
Stick Pro automatically detected a d the video from your video device will be
displayed i the preview wi dow. (If the USB Video Capture Stick Pro is ot
detected, please refer to the software i stallatio sectio )

Troubleshooting
1. There is no video picture.
- Co ect a d disco ect the cables, the try agai .
- Make sure all the cables are co ected correctly.
2. The message appears – “High Speed device plugged into Full Speed USB Port....”
- Make sure your system features USB 2.0 support.
- E sure the USB Video Capture Stick Pro is plugged i to a USB 2.0 port.
- Make sure your system has the Microsoft USB 2.0 host driver i stalled.
3. Important NOTE
- Make sure the driver for the USB Video Capture Stick Pro has bee properly
i stalled.
