Before using the cooker
Removeanypacking and protectivefilmand keep thisawayfromchildren.Wash
the cookerthoroughlywithclean warmsoapywater.
The first timeyou usethe cooker
Switchon the oven forapproximately15 minutesatahigh temperaturetoburnoff
anyresiduesfromthe manufacturing process.Afteryou havecarried outthisoperation
tothe oven,do the sametothe hotplatesand then the grill.Again,15 minutesshould
be adequate.
Guarantee
Thisapplianceisguaranteed forone yearfromdateofpurchase.Keep yourpurchase
receiptwiththeseinstructions.
Tofulfil the conditionsofthe guarantee thisappliancemusthavebeen correctly

SECTION2:INSTALLATION
Thisappliancemustbe installed and connected inaccordancewithcurrentregulations
byaqualified electrician.
2.1.INSTALLATIONOFOVEN
Thisappliancecan be placed nexttoorinbetween built-inkitchen furniture.However,
the heightofthe built-infurnituremustnotexceed the heightofthe cookerhotplate.
Ensurethatthereisaminimumof2cmclearspacebehind the cookertoallowforair
circulation.
You mustallowaminimumheightof650mm between the cookerhotplateand anyobject
fittedabove,i.e.wall cupboardsoracookerhood.
2.2.ADJUSTMENTOFFEET
Your cooker isfitted with 4 adjustable feet. Please ensure that the appliance is level and
secure before first use

SECTION3:USINGTHEHOTPLATE
Fourindividualcontrolknobssituated on the control/fasciapanelcontrolthe four
sealed hotplates.Cleargraphics indicatethe hotplatethateachcontrolknob operates.
Turnthe relevantcontrolknob tothe required heatsetting,setting 1=Low,
setting 6=High.
Whilstthe hotplateison the red indicatorwill glow.When you havefinished using the
hotplateturnthe controlknob back off whichisthe ‘0’setting.
Beforeusing yourcookerforthe firsttime,werecommend thatyou turneachhotplate
on tosetting 3.forapproximately15 minutes,thiswill burnoff anyresiduesfromthe
manufacturing process.

The grill iscontrolled byturning the oven function controlknob (farleft control)tothe
grill function setting and then turning the oven thermostatcontrolknob tothe desired
temperaturesetting.When you havefinished grilling,turnbothcontrolknobsback
tothe off setting (‘0’).
Beforeusing the grill forthe firsttimewerecommend thatyou turnthe grill on for
approximately15 minutes,thiswill burnoff anyresiduesfromthe manufacturing
process.

Werecommend thatyou carryoutgrilling withtheovendoorclosed.

SECTION5:USINGTHEOVEN
The oven iscontrolled byfirstturning the oven controlknob clockwisetothe desired
setting:the firstposition providesheatfromthe top and bottomoven elements,
the second position providesheatfromthe bottomheating elementonly,the third
position providesheatfromthe top heating elementonly.You mustthen turnthe oven
thermostatcontrolknob tothe required heatsetting.Whilstthe oven ison the red
indicatorwill glow.
When you havefinished using the oven turnbothcontrolknobsoff tothe ‘0’setting.
Beforeusing yourcookerforthe firsttime,werecommend thatyou turnthe oven on
(top &bottomelements)forapproximately15 minutes,thiswill burnoff anyresidues
fromthe manufacturing process.

SECTION6:CLEANINGAND MAINTENANCE
Always ensurethatyourcookeriscompletelycooland switched off atthe electricity
supplybeforecarrying outcleaning.
Always clean awayfood and liquidspillsfromthe hotplateassoon aspossible–do
notallowspillstoharden off.
Exteriorand interiorareasofthe cookershouldbe washed withwarmsoapywater
and/ormildcreamdetergents.
Useglass cleanertoclean the interior/exteriorofthe glass door.
NEVERUSE ABRASIVE DETERGENTSORWIREWOOLTOCLEANAREA OF
YOUR COOKER.
Pleasenotethatitisquitenormaltogetaslightburning smell fromthe cookerduring
the firstfewoperations.Thisissimplythe protectiveoil filmthatisused during
production
toprotectthe cookerparts.
SECTION7:SERVICE
If the hotplate,grill oroven doesnotoperate,check thatthe electricitysupplyswitch
tothe appliancehasnotbeen turned off, orthatthe circuitfusehasblownorcircuit
breakerhasbeen tripped.
If the grill oroven doesnotoperate,check thatthe oven temperaturecontrolknob
has
been settothe desired temperaturesetting.
